A complete guide to building a widebody vehicle for your own car. Mostly it takes only 10 steps from stock to a stunning wheel arch. Of course, it takes some practice, but I'll show you a simple method that will help you achieve amazing results. And best of all, no expensive equipment or machines are required. With just a sheet of metal, a welding machine, a grinder and your hands, you can start your project.

Einfach Weltklasse, nur die innenkannte hätte ich vor dem umlegen bereits einmal versieglt mit Rostschutzlack.

Ja, deshalb hab ich sie nicht ganz umgelegt, so konnte ich später mit dem pinsel 2kx epoxid grundierung rein „massieren“ bevor die kante mit Karosserie dichtmasse verschlossen wurde.

Ever welder will need differant setting, just work on scrap metal on the same thickness this you have your dialed, this is a key skill to learn. As a guideline, each . 001 inch of material thickness requires 1 amp of output: 18 guage is 0.0478 so start at 50amps and test.

Als Englisch-Muttersprachler fand ich das gar nicht mal soooo schlimm. Klar hört man den Akzent aber es ist ja kein Sprachkurs, sondern ein Video über Metallbearbeitung.
Und da habe ich alles verstanden.
Ich fand die Aufnahmen mit der Flex besonders schön, bestätigt es mich doch in meiner Aussage das kein gescheiter Karosseriebauer / Blechschlosser / Metallkünstler den Schutz an der Flex lässt. Mein Chef kriegt da immer die Krise😅.
Und bevor einer meckert, ja ich weiß das es eigentlich Einhand-Winkelschleifer heißt 😁

Mal ne technische Frage
Wäre es sinnvoll ( wenn man denn das Equipment und Erfahrung hat ) das ganze mit WIG zu schweißen, wg weniger Wärmeeintrag und so.
Und man hätte auch viel weniger überschüssiges Material.
Ist keine Kritik, sondern nur eine Frage.

I have a 1968 Mercury Cougar 428 Cobra Jet 4-Speed + a Gear Vendors Over-Drive for the firth gear, 3:70 posi carrier and many more goodies . I think the fenders and rear quarters panels would be perfect for the operation. This was a great video that I will watch again before cutting in. Thank You

Sehr schöne Arbeit, macht spaß dir zuzuschauen. Hatte schon darüber nachgedacht sowas bei meinem BMW e28 zu machen, sprechen nur 2 Dinge dagegen, ich schätze mal der TÜV hat sich da bestimmt etwas peinlich und eine H-Zulassung kann ich mir dann bestimmt auch abschminken... Aber top erklärt und sehr anschaulich rübergebracht.
