Great Video…I’ve been buying fish from Fish Hut for about 10 years now…Rich is a great guy and one of the best owners out there…Him and his wife and the staff really do an amazing job. When I kept Africans for about 5-6 years they all came from Fish Hut and I would have to say there is no better place in NJ and NY to view such an amazing selection of African Cichlids…
Nice, NYC has some stores that caught my attention, but tolls were high without congestion prices...and it might be awkward carry fish on the train lol
@@dwsdarius The fire eel is a very rewarding fish! It's usually 20-24 inches big in the aquarium (few cases 3 feet), yet is packed with so much personality! They're from Southeast Asia, and they can be with peaceful to semi aggressive fish that aren't too big to eat since they're usually pretty peaceful, like your Bala Sharks, Silver Dollars, etc.
The fish you asked to identify look to me like madtom catfish. They are a small variety growing to max of about 4 inches. Can be caught locally here in the rivers and streams of North America
Awesome video 😊 it’s always been my dream to open a fish shop and design it similar to aquarium coop , so I started a donation on my community page and I’d really appreciate it if you could share it
Absolutely true.
Looks like a good store, I like this kind of video
Thanks, I have a few good spots so maybe I'll make some more
Thanks for sharing this awesome fish shop I think you should do it more 🫵👍
Thanks, I have some cool spots nearby so I'll work on it

Thanks man. Just a 45 min drive from my house.

Thanks! Yes, seeing their selection makes me want to start a predator hap tank
Such stunning fish. I'm in New York, I might have to make the trip out to Jersey.

@dwsdarius This is true 😆 let alone in this cold weather we are having now
🐟🥰
I'd say here in Western NY our best fish store is The Fish Place in North Tonawanda! ❤
I'll be doing some NY road trips when it gets warmer so I'll have to include them in one of my stops. Thanks for sharing
2:39 The eel here is a species of spiny eel, and the catfish are a species of hoplo catfish
Thanks, I thought it was a hoplo

I know Fish Hut. I did go there one time. It was good quality. But it was so far from my home.
They are awesome, but about a 40 min drive me as well

The FISH HUT is an amazing store, I drive an hour and half every few months just to get the best AFRICAN CICHLIDS on the east coast ,, 👍👍
They make me want to start a predator hap tank!

Anyone know a good spot to find the best fish stores throughout the country ?
Usually, forums like reddit will have ranked aquarium stores by state
Yonk for the algorithm
