Faith.. I am so super proud of you. Homesteading is very hard work but so super rewarding. As our family has always been farmers and homesteaders through the generations, I am so proud to see you carry on that tradition in a new and organic way. You are super amazing! ❤
Congratulations faith! I hope you guys have an easy move and get your dream property! How wonderful would it be to keep that home within your family for a few more generations 🥰 praying for you
Are you taking any cuttings from your garden? My family knows that if we ever move, we are taking cuttings from all my babies. As for the no till garden, I’ve found that the first year is so so, but the following season seems to improve. I planted cover crops, cow peas, and daikon to help my poor very compacted soil and just cut them all down and used them as chop and drop. It will all work out. I totally understand OCD when it comes to squares...really looking forward to see how your electric fence works, with roosters it scares me that they will get a hen caught against the sides. Thanks for the video...such great ideas
Oh, absolutely!! Haha, I have been trying to take so many cuttings! I want to make sure I have at least one of everything. I’m hoping it does get easier for the no till, I have spoiled myself not ever having to worry about weeds with my raised beds. Weeding and potting up seedlings are my least fav garden chores and I try to avoid those 😅 I’m looking forward to seeing how the fence works too. Fortunately I don’t have a rooster, but the coyotes can be pretty bad out here, so I’m just hoping nothing gets in!
