Disclaimer: I am not using all the steps one should to lay flagstone, but they’re really thick and I’m not worried about them breaking. This method has worked for me as an easy diy, but if you want to do it appropriately, this isn’t it! However, it’s always worked for me and it is very easy for me to mow around the edges of the gravel.
How sad,...I binge watched most of your videos and then realized you've stopped posting! I'll pass on subscribing until you come back if that is your plan. It's sad when you find a channel that is starting on such a positive, blessed note and then poof they disappear. You had me beginning to really enjoy your content. I hope you're well and happy. Have a happy 4th of July! 💥💥🧨🎇🎇🎆🎆
Darn squash bugs! They got us too 😭 They have been relentless. My little planted one in a pot as a surprise for me and put it on the patio sp no squash bugs will get to it 😆❤️ Your fire pit area is beautiful!!! My creative wheels are beginning to turn 🤔
Your plans for the layout of your garden sounds wonderful. I love the idea of the fire pit and seating in the middle and you mimicking the other side with the raised bed garden extension. I can’t wait to see the finished product.
Around the year 2000, I bought a big wood lathe for my shop. Since I had plenty of trees, I had lots of wood to mount on that lathe and make bowls and spindles and lots of stuff. Now understand, turning green wood is extremely pleasing and educational, but the final product will do some serious warping and splitting, but I didn't care. Another by product of the lathe was tons of woods scraps that were tossed into my....FIRE PILE!
I don’t know much about wood lathes, but it sounds very neat! Sometimes it’s about doing what makes you happy regardless if there are flaws with the end product. It’s all a learning process. I also can’t wait for cooler weather!
Absolutely! I plan to plant some near the fire pit area but I do have hopes for a wild flower meadow in a back part of my property I don’t think I’ve even shown here on yt yet. All in time, I hope! 😊
I was watching in Migardener on one of his videos somebody posted that they had problems with the squash find bar and that they had used cedar around the area and that that had work for them. You might wanna give it a try. you have such a lovely garden and such a lovely home and everything is so green There’s a lady that lives in San Diego that I follow her on her garden shows I think it’s Gary and Robbie, Robbie, and Gary not sure but anyways, so use this tool you know the material to keep a lot of the animals out of her vegetable plants that may help
I’m new too, I really hope this channel revives…. It’s so good….. I’m in Central Florida & deal with all the heat, bugs etc as well…. Come back Faith👩🌾🌸

I've started looking at when channels last post before I start watching as it's a bummer to get invested then they stop posting. :(

Beautiful project 💚
Very nice! Do you have any plans to plant native wildflowers? With that sun you could have a beautiful meadow!
Absolutely! I plan to plant some near the fire pit area but I do have hopes for a wild flower meadow in a back part of my property I don’t think I’ve even shown here on yt yet. All in time, I hope! 😊
The fire pit area is going to be really nice.
