I'm surprised you didn't ask the kid if he was feeding them garbage leads. I've been fed garbage leads by marketing companies. And they definitely will blame me for not closing the lead when the actual problem is they are bringing me leads who don't really need the service I provide

Yeah, it comes down to kids not knowing how to properly target, they showcase a weak offer, and not having super specific language. It can definitely be frustrating.

@@sandramolano2193 aaah gotcha. I understand. Dan may be comparing the time he was 18 to now. These days you literally have everything laid out for you. You just have to get the reps in and work it. The things he could have been doing he didn’t really give much effort doing when he has zero responsibility and worry. I’m sure Dan would’ve hit millions a lot sooner had he had access to all the info we have access to today. It was not the same and if you did get access it certainly was not free and it cost more to do a lot of the things you can do freely or cheaply nowadays. I get his frustration.

Guys, promise me you will never buy the book called Never Split The Difference which was recommended in this video. Dan is a very sharp guy, but like most marketers, he is following the lemmings and recommending a book that is written by a hostage negotiator and somehow the marketing world has misled themselves to believe that being a hostage negotiator relates to normal negotiations on planet earth. It doesn't. I'm speaking from experience here guys. I own the book. I hesitated for 5 years before buying the book. More importantly, I can name 25 books by business negotiating experts that are 100 times better. Nothing makes me more frustrated when people just recommend books simply because the other guy recommended the book. Do not buy this book. It's a waste of your time. I promise you. Again, Dan is awesome, and he always shares tons of value, but in the case of this book, do not buy. The 2 persuasion Cialdini books Dan recommended are absolutely mandatory though.

I don’t know man, I’ve used things from that book to close a lot of sales. And I’ve used it in my every day life and it works wonders.

@@DanHenry First off, full respect for all you do, including these great video trainings you post. We appreciate your them! As we both know, that book rounds out the top 3 books all American males that are in real estate recommend. The other 2 of course are, Rich Dad Poor Dad and Traction. The thing is, as far a negotiating goes, the Voss book does not make it into the top 10 Imo. Imo, Voss has many theories that apparently worked great for hostage negotiations and then he wrote a book and people fooled themselves into believing that is counterintuitive theories apply to normal negotiations. Let me give you 1 example. He suggests trying to get the other person to say "no" as quick as possible. Great! Works in hostage negotiations, but 100% unproven in regular sales negotiations. More importantly, keep up the Great work Dan!

Dan I'm 16, just found you today, i'm applying to your form now. Bro... your content is legit actually good. you definitly should have more subs and views, i will say from my view consuming yt alot, the thumbnail could be packaged better. You laterally have a great hook before the video it's just the ctr. thubmnails could be better, and definitly start getting in shorts like tiktok, yt shorts and fb reels to funnel back to long form. @DanHenry
