Great review - thank you! I also have a Neutron 2 with the Ti scales, and the pattern is the same - it gets finer as you move away from the blade, so that by the end of the handle - it's virtually smooth. I think that's intentional. Either way, thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Appreciate the feedback Matt and that you stopped by my humble channel.
I see you and your family are quite involved in LAX. Great sport. Needham had quite a team back in my days. 😉
Feel free to heck out some of my other knife, and life in general, videos. I hope you enjoy them.

That fade on the Lizard skin is intentional and on all of them. You should be able to see it start as a gradient right at the blade end and continue all the way until it virtually disappears. 100 percent agree with you on the size. I had this same knife, but in 20CV , and had to sadly leg it go simply because it was just not large enough for my average sized hands. I’m going to get an Atom. If you are okay with a cross bar lock, the Shadow is a great way to go. Not huge, but much more substantial and an even better slicer. Fun review, Sir!👊🏼

Thanks for the info on the fade Jay. I agree the Atom I the way to go w/ this style for me. How did you like the 20 CV? Magnacut is great and all but the boost in $ may hinder a quick purchase.
I already did replace it with a different knife though so check back in a day or 2 and I should have it uploaded.
Also my gratitude for taking the time to watch and comment. Hope you come back and visit and leave your thoughts again.

@@TinyIslandMaineI will absolutely be watching more. Honestly, I didn’t have the Neutron long enough to put its steel through the paces. However, they have a good reputation in the FB group for quality heat treats on their 20CV, and my shadow held up very well while I had it, but I passed it on to another group member as well, only so I could chase the elusive Ti version!😂

@@Jayscott75 thanks for replying I think the chase is always the best part. Do you still have that Sabenza I saw on your channel?

@@TinyIslandMaine yessir I do. But I did end up selling the clip for cheap to a guy in the CRK FB group. Put a couple scuffs on its edge pretty quickly and realized it was too fancy to carry at all so I went back to the og clip. 😂

@@Jayscott75 yup I would ding up something that beautiful pretty quick. Thinking of a CRK. Small would be better for me and I have not tried S45vn so I need to learn a little more about that steel as I already have a few Magnacut knives.
