Thank you for replying Karen . That was so kind of you to take the time to do that . My second chemo is 24 th Sept if everything is ok . They are trying to shrink the tumour pre surgery .

Hi Lori. So glad that you are through with your chemo. The regrowth of my hair was a real adventure. I originally had very straight hair and the curls were certainly fun change. I let my hair grow out for a whole year. It took that long before it started coming in straight again. Just a few weeks ago I decided to “start over” and took the dog clippers to it as it was looking very strange with such curls only on the ends. I have never had short hair before but have really gotten use to it. Have fun with it and know that it will come back. Good luck to you.
You look fantastic! Post chemo life is nice! I just passed a year in May. My hair texture didnt change like yours did. I am so happy to see your update and knowing you are doing well. Im doing well. Had major spinal surgery in November so am still healing from that. Its been a hell of a ride since 2014. 3 back surgeries and breast cancer. Ready to experience pain free healthy life. Your paintings are amazing! May be interested in commissioning something of my pup. Will message you if I think I can afford. Your attention to details is stunning. Keep hanging in there!!!

thank you for your videos of your cancer journey and your beautiful artwork. I had cancer in July 2019 with a hysterectomy
and brachytherapy. They just found a recurrence at my 18 month check up and will start chemo soon. I'm happy to see that you are doing well.
Karen I am so sorry you have a recurrence. I am glad that I elected to have both chemo and brachytherapy after my hysterectomy but that is no guarantee that I too will not have a recurrence as Serous Carcinoma is an extremely aggressive cancer. All I can offer is to fight it with all you have and do not give up! I know you can get through the chemo and I wish you a full recovery. Take care and stay connected.

Thank you for posting your video. I just finished my treatment for the same type of cancer. Last chemo was February 25th and brachytherapy ended March 19th. Just waiting now for my hair to grow back and found your channel. I love your artwork! I use to paint around 15 years ago, after seeing some of you videos, I feel inspired to start again. Hi Marilyn! Thank you so much for reaching out to me. I am delighted that my video has given you some inspiration. I was amazed at my hair coming back in curly as I have always had straight hair. I had fun with it and hope you will too. It is all about attitude! After a year of curls, my hair started to come in straight again, so I took the bold move of starting over, cutting all the curls off. I am starting to look like myself again. Regarding art, I highly encourage you to take up your art! It has given me immense joy and has kept my mind occupied. I am wishing the absolute best recovery for you. I am 18 months out of chemo and am currently NED! (NO evidence of Disease!). Take care and stay safe!
