@@JakobFischer60 Well even though it’s in France doesn’t mean the audience is only French people.. Come on dude they’re a very big band they have fans from all over the world
I'm a 57 year old Australian woman and I adore this band. Till, the lead singer, is so hypnotic to watch and listen to. He has a certain sexyness about him. I love the whole band. I've got most of their music now and have many favourites. I can't believe it took me so long to discover them. They started in my era. I wish I knew them then, I would have definitely gone to a concert. The atmosphere is incredible.
2:52 The quite literal translation of Du Hast Mich is "You have me." However, with German being German, there is also the word Haßt (Hasst), which is pronounced with a minor inflection over the ß, which means "hate." It is an intentional double meaning, "You have me," and/or "you hate me."
I will never tire of "first reactions" to Rammstein. They are THE best showmen in the world, bar none. And on top of that, all their lyric have deep meaning, sometimes hidden meanings. I wish you luck if you try to get into one of their concerts, since the last time they announced their next World Tour, ALL the tickets for ALL the concerts all over the world were SOLD OUT IN LESS THAN AN HOUR.
Rammstein have been together since 1994 all 6 are the same original members..they have never had a change in their original lineup. lead vocalist Till Lindemann, lead guitarist Richard Kruspe, rhythm guitarist Paul Landers, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christoph Schneider, and keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz.
The lead singer Till Lindemann is a certified pyrotechnician. If you like their theatrics, please have a look at Mein Tiel, Angel and Ich Tur Dir Weh live performances. If you have the occasion to see them live, go for it, it's an amazing experience!
Almost perfect but you would make it easier for her if you spelled the Song correctly, like so: 'Mein Teil, Engel, Ich tu Dir weh' and if I could I would add two favorite's of mine: 'Los' and 'Haifisch'.
Welcome to the Rammstein rabbit hole Stacey! You are in for one hell of a ride! Coming from a new obsessed fan myself, no one comes close to the boys. The music, music videos and live performances are second to none as you are about to see. My only suggestion is to make sure you have the volume up LOUD!! The only way you can enjoy their music 🤘🤘
“This song is actually about a kind of loyalty,” said Kruspe. “We see Rammstein like a kind of family. We have a strong awareness, a strong sense of tradition in this band. And for me, this song is a bit like that promise of faith we know from weddin seegs, that’s kind of been integrated into this family"
Some common Rammstein songs that most people react to are as follows from Madison Square Garden 2010 - Rammleid, Ich Tu Dir Weh, Engel, Weißes Fleisch .... From Wacken 2013 - Wiener Blut....from Hurricane festival 2013 - Mein Teil and from Hurricane festival 2016 - Ich will....from Download festival 2016 - Links 2 3 4 and Sonne..... From live in Paris 2017 - Wollt Ihr das Bett in Flammen Sehen and Mutter. Also thier 2019 and 2023 Stadium concerts are EPIC! Songs such as Feuer Frei, Mein Herz Brennt, Mein Herz Brennt(piano version), Ohne Dich, Angst, Zeit, Armee der Tristen, Adieu and Zick Zack are usually reacted to at the beginning. Also ALL songs from literally the BEST Rammstein Concert is from @VÖLKERBALL 2005 both from Nîmes, France and London, England are absolutely AMAZING!! Songs such as Asche zu Asche, Morgenstern, Los, Sehnsucht, Reise Reise, Stripped, Rein Raus, and Stein um Stein are IMO the Best live performances... both Völkerball concerts are a must see 😍❤
Nice reaction. 👍 And welcome to the rabbit hole of Rammstein. The band was founded in 1994 and is still on stage and - from time to time - in the studios. Their last album "Zeit" came out 2022. Their shows are literally fire. 🔥 The lyrics of this song in a nutshell: The first three words are "Du hast mich" (you have me) which at that moment doesn't make any sense in German. But it sounds (intentionally) the same as "Du hasst mich" (you hate me). Later in the song, the first three words are extended to a full sentence: "Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab nichts gesagt." (You asked me and I did not answer.) And then, to show what he was asked, the chorus is a wedding vow: "Willst Du bis der Tod euch scheidet treu ihr sein für alle Tage?" (Do you want to be faithful to her for all days until death do us part?) This is answered first by a kind of female voice "Ja" (yes) and afterwards by Till's harsh voice "Nein!" (No!). These - plus a slightly obscene word play on the wedding vow, that I will not explain here - are the whole lyrics (repeated a few times). As mentioned in the "making of" of that song it's about the connection within the band. They never had a line-up change since their start in 1994. The lead gitarrist once said, the band is like a marriage without sex. As you start to be addicted to Rammstein, I have a "few" suggestions. If you want to see more of their (incredible) live performances I would suggest Rammlied (live from Madison Square Garden) Engel (live from Madison Square Garden) Sonne (live at Rock im Park 2017) Links 2 3 4 (live from Madison Square Garden) Ich will (live from Hurricane Festival 2016) Ich tu dir weh (live from Madison Square Garden) (don't take the lyrics too serious) Sehnsucht (live in Nimes, France, 2005 Volkerball tour) Feuer Frei! Radio (Radio) catchy song (with serious background) Keine Lust (not in the mood) heavy, funny, slidely sad Mein Herz brennt (My heart burns) (official video, whole band) scary, nightmarish, very special Mein Herz brennt (My heart burns) (official video, Till & piano) scary, nightmarish, different mood Amerika (America) catchy, not a love song Mein Land (My land), sounds & looks like easy living (unless you look at the slightly developing of the lyrics) Ohne Dich (without you) melancholic, Till singing softly Amour (love (French)) lyric video Newest official videos from their last album "Zeit" in sequence of the tracks on the album: Zeit (Time) slow, dark, melancholic, emotional Zick Zack (Snip Snap) catchy song, sarcastic, funny Angst (Fear) very Rammstein, scary, credits at the end are helpful to understand the message Dicke Titten (Big Boobs) heavy (most of the time), catchy, funny, credits are funny too (my view) Adieu (Goodbye) dark, sometimes heavy, emotional Last but not least the great (but not nice) video "Deutschland" which has a lot of references to (mostly unpleasent) parts of German history. Video, lyrics, and sound are great (my view) and work very well together. To get less confused, watch the version with English subtitles from "educated marine". I wish you to enjoy your Rammstein journey. And as you said, you've never heard such a deep voice, I have two additional (and completely different) rabbit holes for you to dive in: Geoff Castellucci - Sixteen Tons ua-cam.com/video/fzlT80jQ3lo/v-deo.html VoicePlay (acapella group where Geoff is part of) - OOGIE BOOGIE'S SONG | The Nightmare Before Christmas ua-cam.com/video/EbxkOntz2SA/v-deo.html I'm curious to see your reactions. 🥸

Stacey! Great reaction! Rammstein is unbelievably talented. Their energy is almost godly. Till Lindemann (lead vocalist) is a consummate entertainer. Their lyrics and content is often poking at social issues or provoking us towards deeper thought. Till is licensed to do pyrotechnics and every show is a blockbuster.
If you ever get the chance to see a Rammstein live concert, take that chance and go see it. It's an absolutely mindblowing experience - and yes, there's a lot of pyro :)
Just found your channel. Enjoying your videos. I've seen Rammstein twice in the US. It's way more than a show. It's an experience like no other. Till and the gang are remarkable people.
10:55 "is there blood on his arm?" Yes, well ... fake blood ... Why ? Just watch the live performance of "Mein Teil" and maybe read about the backstory of that song to find out why 😅
If you love crowd interaction, you should check out "In Livstid I Krieg" by Sabaton (Live from Gothenburg). A TRULY moving song with a TON of crowd interaction. As far as Rammstein, after an incident in the mid 90's most, if not all of the band became licensed pyrotechnitions. This means that the normal "sounds cool but is it safe" buffer that the normal pyro guy would insert, they just do it, since they know what they are doing.
If you want some excellent crowd participation, try out Blind Guardian, The Bard's Song & Valhalla - Live at Wacken Open Air 2016. Another beloved German band, and an iconic performance.
I saw Rammstein for the first and hopefully not last time back in 2019, after being a mega fan for at least 15 years, they are by far and away the single best live act there is on this earth, PERIOD!
You should know, just for info at least, that this is a very old version of their show, and for the past 2 years or so they have been touring to just sold-out STADIUM venues of 50,000 fans plus using one of the largest music stages ever constructed for a rock concert. It requires 6 days to construct and 60 trucks to transport. A time-lapse video of the 6 day construction (taken in Dresden, 2022) has as of today 15,930,423 views on UA-cam, just to watch the construction of the stage!! You should try to go some day!!
Having see these live a few times words don't do justice by watching them on video even though very good. Watching them live is mesmerising. The crowd sings to all songs. Well done for 5he reaction 😊
You Must See Rammstein in the Berliner Olympiastadion with 70000 Fans who sings Du hast. It is amazing and what you feel in this Moment, there are no words what can Tell it. And the Pyro is so bigger.
Rammstein is also very famous in US - so whenever you get a chance to see them - do it! They have the most impressing live performance I have ever seen and listen to. And small side fact: the singer is a professional licensed fireworker. And second side fact: Rammstein is the name of a small city here in Germany which hosts the largest US military base outside of the USA as far as I know ;-)
we're living with rammstein since 30 years here in germany and really the famous band never seen like that. the musicstyle is called industrial metal. rammstein delivers pure and raw power and force + a perfect show on stage. and every live tour, they grow harder and with new, satisfying fireworks. high end quality, made in germany. btw, they had 2 (!) gigs at madison square garden in the past, which says all to guys who know, how difficult it is to get there on stage. stacey, rammstein is a li'l city with an US-Air Base, which you can find in the south-west of germany, rheinland-pfalz. greetz from good old germany and relax: if rammstein caught you one time, they'll never let you go back to the point before ! 😅😎
I was at the Rammstein concert and saw this show with my own eyes! I stood 10 meters from Till, I fully felt the fire coming from the stage with my skin! The best sound, the best special effects and of course the performance of songs! I highly recommend attending their concert at least once! Look at the song from the same tour "Ich tu dir weh" and "Benzin". By the way, you are one of the few who correctly pronounce the name of this band. Hello from Ukraine!
..this song is a "warm up song" of what they do.. Their videos and live, are "The Bar".. the channel "Buchstabu" is from a Rammstein fan, that re-uploads with subtitles, BUT, some are not there, and only in official channel..They are THE BEST band in the World! ..on their videos, watch ALWAYS the outro with credits.. They produce art, and, dare to talk about everything that has to be said..deep messages and stories behind almost all their music.. Agree! They are uniting the World! Keep going!..and they are certified pyrotecnicians, due small accident in beginning of career.. There is also a video (time lapse) of how stage is mounted.. Till Lindemann is the singer..but all are great! ..also, if you check for subtitles, click on definitions weel, choose auto translation and select language.. But only some of their videos are translated, so.. "Buckstabu" channel..but watch Deutschland, Adieu and Zeit on official channel.. ..i usually don't subscribe, because i am subscribed to amost 400 channels, and is hard to keep up with all content, BUT, i will subscribe to you, until you get 50k subscribers..and watch all Rammstein reactions.. they were borned in East Germany.. Till was a olympic swimmer in soviet times.. They are amazing! ..oh..they touch serious matters, BUT, some are very funny, as you will find out..also, their fans are the best! Be One! The Maddison Square Garden was great as well..each song is a show..
THIS is a warm up?!?!?! OMGGGGGG Deutschland is my next upload :) the reaction is coming soon! LOL 50k subs is far away but I appreciate you subbing for me! Thank you for the support!
@@StaceyRPGReacts ..you will see.50k..it will be fast! ..i forgot to say.. Till is a dark poet..and the word play, double and tripple message meaning..
The funny thing here is that there are a lot of French people in the audience, the concert was in Paris. Now you have to be honest and say that the French don't exactly love foreign languages. But here the whole audience is singing German. Ramstein does the pyrotechnics Thereself, the singer is a trained pyrotechnician!! Oh yes, I left a subscription. I recomend that you see the song Engel. Now seeing Ramstein live is a little difficult because as soon as the tour dates are announced and suuup... the tickets are all sold!!
Seeing Rammstein live is an amazing experience. You don't go there to watch a band play songs, you go there to watch an amazing multisensory show, and the crowd is always enthusiastic.
I was born in Bavaria in 1967 near Munich, the home of beer & Oktoberfest & I'm glad you have enjoyed our beer & hopefully food & now a lil bit of Rammstein who are as smooth as German chocolate! I have lived in Georgia since 1975 so I consider myself a southern guy now...Prost & GO DAWGS 2 time defending champs✌💖☮
@@StaceyRPGReacts Oh great, you have been there & yes it is gorgeous! I still have family that lives all over Germany & sometimes I miss living there but Georgia is a beautiful state as well & I dont regret it
I recommend that you continue with RAMMSTEIN!!!Get involved with RAMMSTEIN!!!!You have to pay attention to the lyrics!!!The lyrics are often ambiguous!!!Start with the old RAMMSTEIN songs!!!If you ever If you come across the song ADIEU, then you will understand it!!!😏 TILL LINDEMANN (the singer also has a solo project: TILL LINDEMANN!!! I can only recommend it💪👍) So, welcome to the RAMMSTEIN family 🫡🙋
I saw them in Atlanta in 2012. The best concert in my 56 years and seeing many shows. I thought KISS liked fire but damn...Rammstein takes it to another level. 🤘
Ramstein is the larger of two districts of the city of Ramstein-Miesenbach in the Kaiserslautern district in Rhineland-Palatinate. The place gained national fame through the Ramstein airbase located in its area, the bomb attack on it in 1981 and the air show accident that occurred there in 1988. The airbase “Ramstein” only has one “m” in its name. According to Paul Landers, it was a mistake that they spelled the name “Rammstein” with two “ms”. Then the newly formed band used the name “Rammstein” and it stuck. (Why the Rammstein members came up with the name Rammstein remains their secret!)
Everybody starts with "Du hast" but there are crazier fireworks, Tills voice hits much deeper notes, there are lots of amazing crowds and there are more theatrical performances. There is so much to discover - enjoy!
Yesss! Please more Rammstein reaction 🤩.. really enjoyed ur reaction. Would love if you get to check out Rammstein Seeman 1996, Du riechst so gut, Mein herz Brennt ❤ FYI - Lead singers name is Till Lindemann and he has some interesting solo material to check out Look forward to more reactions 🤘🏼
There is a story behind the guy on the treadmill. Several of these guys are certified Pyrotechnicians! Their show is worth the price of admission just for the pyrotechnics!
I'm not seeing any comments on the language here... Not a native German speaker, but I have college proficiency. One of the features of German is that verbs are always placed at the end of a grammar chain -- so double entendre's are VERY easy to pull off: "Du hast mich" can mean two things = "You hate me" or "You have _____ me." The latter assuming the verb hasn't been revealed. Thus, "Du hast mich GEFRAGT" = "You have ASKED me." There is an intended tension between hatred and relationship. This is doubled by the use of language from the marriage liturgy: "Will you be faithful and true for all your days until your death?" followed up by "Yes... No... Yes... No..." The answers are reinforced by their delivery. "Ja" (Yes) the high electronic voice, "Nein" (No) by the whole band deep in their chests. As others have already commented, this is a reflection of the band's familial quality and their close knit relationships. The decision between love and hate, faithfulness and abandonment, is a simple one, but it has enormous consequences. They have a tendency to dig deep into the specifics of the German language and exploit them for artistic effect -- and VERY WELL I might add. It's not a bug, it's a feature (one that Mark Twain noted in "Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court). It's especially interesting given that metal usually (not always) has a limited field of emotional expression from a MUSICAL standpoint. Their language use breaks that barrier beautifully.
This band came out in an era of music I called Industrial metal. There were others at the time like the Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Crystal Method, and even some of Nine Inch Nails’ music is industrial it came out right toward the end of the 90s and early 2000s. It’s not blood on him, it’s fire retardant because of all the pyro they do on stage. The lead lead singer is certified in Oreo and he’s not afraid to use it. With the crowd participation you’d probably like Megadeth’s Symphony of Destruction live the fans get after it
Oktoberfest! I lived in Stuttgart for a while and danced on our table while everyone was getting beers. People were going nuts. Of course I was barely a year old and I have no memory of it but my parents tell me I was a hit. "das ist your kinder?" Or something along those lines was said a lot and my dad got many beers.
There is no event that compares to a Rammstein concert. It’s really a once in a lifetime show no matter how many you go to each one is special especially when they have the French signing in German something Germany tried twice and failed but Rammstein plays one show and succeeds
Saw Rammstein in Cardiff on the 'Zeit' tour. People were calling the fire brigade as they thought the stadium was on fire (rammstein use 1,000lts of fuel per show!) and it could be heard 10 miles away
I've seen Pink Floyd's Wall concert twice. I've seen AC/DC. I've seen Boston, Yes, Santana, Black Sabbath, Bon Jovi, Judas Priest, The Who, Genesis, all in their heyday. Then I saw Rammstein on the same tour as the video. Truly mind-blowing.
One of the best live bands!! Their shows sell out immediately A must see show, welcome 🤘🏻🔥 Til Lindenmann = vocalist is actually a pyrotechnic expert, so yeah their shows are full of explosives and incredible devices
Till Lindemann is a symphonic baritone, a fairly rare voice outside of opera. He did spend a few years studying with an opera teacher, which he says he hated. He definitely has one of the most recognizable voices in rock music. He can go really hard (Wiener Blut and Buckstaabu) or beautifully melodic (Mann Gegen Mann, Ich Tu Der Weh). Every member of Rammstein is an artist. Collectively, they are musically and artistically in a league of their own.
You go girl you got a newby! First time I saw this live too I was stunned. I live in South Africa I have been to a few concerts but the energy was always low key. I've NEVER in all my life witness ANYTHING like the Paris crowd's energy THIS WAS INSANE! The way TILL got the WHOLE CROWD SHOUTING DU HAST sent shivers of delight all across my BODY! For a 60 year old HE ROCKS OUT! Just an FYI if you check their UA-cam channel you'll notice all commenting disabled the reason for this is some woman concocted a me2 hoax against Till and now the newspapers in Germany are trying to pull him apart but Till seems to be kicking them to the CURVE! Check out Colonel Kurtz. She is better versed in all of this and a whole lot MORE! Suggestions: Halestorm, Linkin Park (Live) NIGHTWISH uhm gosh now I can't remember the other singers name but Paradise lost. Epica, Evanescence
I love finding people I can watch go down the same rammstein rabbit hole I did a few years ago and you just constantly wonder how you went so long without this 😂 I would’ve killed to have rammstein back in my football days
@StaceyRPGReacts Can't wait! More Jinjer too. You'll enjoy it!! You could always throw in some Avenged Sevenfold too sometime. But the first two for sure. Enjoying your reactions!
The entire band is covered with flame retardants because of the pyrotechnics. The keyboardist walks something like 10 miles per concert or something crazy.
You are absolutely correct about German speaking people in France. I was in the Air Force, and myself and and aircraft were stationed in Germany on a temporary assignment. Oddly enough pertaining to this video, it was Ramstein AFB. I decided to take a four day pass in Paris. The solid front of rudeness I experienced was outrageous. Restaurants, hotels, cabbies and cafe's, all were rude bordering on antagonism. One night while waiting for an hour for my glass of wine with a scenic view of Notre Dame, I asked my waiter if they were crushing the grapes in the back, as I had seen several people who had been seated later than I, served immediately. I noticed a couple speaking German, and they were served and treated very nicely. I asked them if they spoke English, they both said yes, I asked them if they had experienced blatant rudeness from various French vendors. They answered no, but added they always spoke German, never English, and that they also understood French and spoke it as well. They also added that the French don't seem to have issues with English speakers from the UK, just Americans. I asked them if they had any idea why this was the case. They suggested it was passive aggressive envy or something. The Germans and I had a nice visit, and I finally got my wine order. My grandparents spoke fluent German, and I learned Bavarian German from them. That wine order was the last time I spoke English to the irritating snobby French, from then on I only spoke German and never had another issue. Weird Huh?
You mentioned the guys had something that looked like blood on their arms. This is actually a flame-retardant gel. The lead singer is a licensed pyrotechnician and he personally manufactures all of the pyrotechnic effects used in the show.
This is a legendary band. I'm Dutch but speak german as well. Being a metal band singing in German and even chauvanistic europeans like French people singing a long, thats' an accomplishment. FYI check out the original Mein hertz brennt video and then listen to the piano version. What a singer he is.
Great reaction! Since you like the crowd interaction, Check out “Ich will” and “Rammlied” live! It’s amazing! I felt the energy when I finally saw them in a concert.
6:10 - I wouldn't worry too much, as they're their own licensed pyrotechnicians. They've even perfected the face-mounted flame thrower. It's as awesome (and insane) as it sounds!

(Yes) No (Yes) No Do you want, until death separates you To be faithful to her for all days (Yes) No (Yes) No
Du hast translated to "you hate" or "you have" (depending on pronunciation) and "Mich" is - Me. so basically - "you hate/have me" Also, fun fact about Till (the lead singer) - he's a licensed pyrotechnician, and often plans the band's Pyro. Also, for something completely different - if you loved this Crown participation - check out Depeche mode's - Never let me down again (live)
The entire band are licensed, TIl just has the higher tier of license so he can actually produce pyrotechnics, the others are just licensed to handle it
Rammstein show is so awesome, i have actually witnessed people going to concerts with ear protection on just there to watch the show. They don’t even like the music and still buy a ticket.
A Ramstein was/is a large stone primarily used for ramming enemy gates during a seige. However, being huge fans of double entendre, they use the name RAMMSTEIN, which is the name of a city in Germany in which a famous Air Force disaster occured.
having reached time index 0:30 of your video, I need to say YOU pronounce it R.I.G.H.T. I got used to tell all these not-german people to say it like (looks Klingon, I know 🙂) like "Rum-Shd'yne". Comes damn close. CONGRATS, Ms. Stacey 👍🥰👍 now have the hell of a good time listening to Baron, PEP Cars V8 U.S. car club, Frankfurt Germany PS: it just made me so happy as you said "Rammstein can unite the world". (there are only 2 bands needed to do a worldwide open air festival - Rammstein & Metallica !). 90 yrs. ago we've been in war with France and now all these guys sing German, even if they (may) don't know what the lyrics might be all about. And if the singer appears on stage without a mic. and the audience sings along the song . . . . . . baby, this is better than having sex 😎
Thanks Stacey for this React. Rammstein unfortunately controversial in our press (Germany), especially with their song "Deutschland". A typical Problem of us Germans. It's nice to see that people in other countries recognize the achievements and artistic demand of this band.
I saw Rammstein and maybe Soulfly at House of Blues in Las Vegas around 1999. After Soulfly finished we were standing around in the pit and they set off huge explosions that left me half deaf. Great show but good Lord was that loud.
There is nothing in the video that isn't sheer brilliance. Nothing. If God exists I'm pretty sure he'd want Till Lindemann's autograph. Nice reaction, Stacey.

"Is he on a treadmill?" That's the reaction we all wait for!
ikr everyone first notices that
Every single time...lol
2:52 The quite literal translation of Du Hast Mich is "You have me." However, with German being German, there is also the word Haßt (Hasst), which is pronounced with a minor inflection over the ß, which means "hate." It is an intentional double meaning, "You have me," and/or "you hate me."
Finally, somebody explained it right
@@subnoizesoldier2 🤘 Who knew that optional elective German class in unversity would come in handy! 😁
Also it's a part of "Du hast mich gefragt" - literally "You have asked me", so it's the present perfect time thing

its a play on words
The Germans waged two world wars to try to get Parisians to speak German. They failed. Rammstein played one show, and succeeded.
Now France and Germany also share membership in European Union.
Seen it in Nimes 2005 too
Look for "RAMMSTEIN live Luzhniki stadium Moscow Russia 29 07 2019" and you hear 50 000 Russians scream "Deutschland, Deutschland über allem" 😂😂

The entire band has being licensed pyrotechnicians now.
I'm belief, its simple about hating any relationshiop
Some common Rammstein songs that most people react to are as follows from Madison Square Garden 2010 - Rammleid, Ich Tu Dir Weh, Engel, Weißes Fleisch
.... Songs such as Asche zu Asche, Morgenstern, Los, Sehnsucht, Reise Reise, Stripped, Rein Raus, and Stein um Stein are IMO the Best live performances... both Völkerball concerts are a must see 😍❤
As a german i like to watch people all over the world reacting to this pyrotechnic wonder band
I’m a German and I love Rammstein, specially Till he has something where you fall in love with
Nice reaction. 👍 And welcome to the rabbit hole of Rammstein. The band was founded in 1994 and is still on stage and - from time to time - in the studios. Their last album "Zeit" came out 2022. Their shows are literally fire. 🔥
The lyrics of this song in a nutshell:
The first three words are "Du hast mich" (you have me) which at that moment doesn't make any sense in German.
If you want to see more of their (incredible) live performances I would suggest
Rammlied (live from Madison Square Garden)
Engel (live from Madison Square Garden)
Sonne (live at Rock im Park 2017)
Links 2 3 4 (live from Madison Square Garden)
Ich will (live from Hurricane Festival 2016)
Ich tu dir weh (live from Madison Square Garden) (don't take the lyrics too serious)
Sehnsucht (live in Nimes, France, 2005 Volkerball tour)
Feuer Frei! (live from Madison Square Garden)
Benzin (live from Madison Square Garden)
Mein Teil (live at Hurricane Festival 2013)
Wollt Ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen (live from Paris)
Frühling in Paris (live from Paris)
Los (live from Völkerball, Nimes, 2005)
Amazing official videos
Sonne (Sun) heavy, screwed up fairy-tale
Links 2 3 4 (left) partly heavy march
Ich will (I want) heavy, simple, way to celebrity
Spring! (Jump!) (fan-made animated version with english subtitles) slow, partly heavy, very dark sarcasm!
Radio (Radio) catchy song (with serious background)
Keine Lust (not in the mood) heavy, funny, slidely sad
Mein Herz brennt (My heart burns) (official video, whole band) scary, nightmarish, very special
Mein Herz brennt (My heart burns) (official video, Till & piano) scary, nightmarish, different mood
Amerika (America) catchy, not a love song
Mein Land (My land), sounds & looks like easy living (unless you look at the slightly developing of the lyrics)
Ohne Dich (without you) melancholic, Till singing softly
Amour (love (French)) lyric video
Newest official videos from their last album "Zeit" in sequence of the tracks on the album:
Zeit (Time) slow, dark, melancholic, emotional
Zick Zack (Snip Snap) catchy song, sarcastic, funny
Angst (Fear) very Rammstein, scary, credits at the end are helpful to understand the message
Dicke Titten (Big Boobs) heavy (most of the time), catchy, funny, credits are funny too (my view)
Adieu (Goodbye) dark, sometimes heavy, emotional
Last but not least the great (but not nice) video "Deutschland" which has a lot of references to (mostly unpleasent) parts of German history. Video, lyrics, and sound are great (my view) and work very well together. To get less confused, watch the version with English subtitles from "educated marine".
I wish you to enjoy your Rammstein journey.
And as you said, you've never heard such a deep voice, I have two additional (and completely different) rabbit holes for you to dive in:
Geoff Castellucci - Sixteen Tons

VoicePlay (acapella group where Geoff is part of) - OOGIE BOOGIE'S SONG | The Nightmare Before Christmas

Welcome to the Rammstein rabbit hole. :D
so happy to be here! i love it here!
@@StaceyRPGReactsDu Hast is the German word for you have. Whereas Du Hast Mich means you have me. The German word for no is Nein.
If you ever get the chance to see a Rammstein live concert, take that chance and go see it. It's an absolutely mindblowing experience - and yes, there's a lot of pyro :)
The blood on his arm is fireproof gel, made to look like blood.
Just found your channel. Enjoying your videos. I've seen Rammstein twice in the US. It's way more than a show. It's an experience like no other. Till and the gang are remarkable people.
10:55 "is there blood on his arm?"
Yes, well ... fake blood ...
Why ?
Just watch the live performance of "Mein Teil" and maybe read about the backstory of that song to find out why 😅
i thought it‘s some liquid to protect them from the fire that’s near them 😭
Yes! DEFINITELY go to a Rammstein show! No matter who you are or where you come from, YOU WILL NOT be disappointed. 🤘🔥
I concur. Also “Christmas Truce” by Sabaton. The drummer is married to Floor Jansen. Listen to end credits to hear Floor on the music video.
If you want some excellent crowd participation, try out Blind Guardian, The Bard's Song & Valhalla - Live at Wacken Open Air 2016. Another beloved German band, and an iconic performance.
I got to see them last September in LA. It was amazing best live show I've been to.
Please check out the piano version of "Mein Hertz Brennt" it's hauntingly beautiful!
And second side fact: Rammstein is the name of a small city here in Germany which hosts the largest US military base outside of the USA as far as I know ;-)
Can't go wrong with Rammstein ❤
we're living with rammstein since 30 years here in germany and really the famous band never seen like that. the musicstyle is called industrial metal. rammstein delivers pure and raw power and force + a perfect show on stage. and every live tour, they grow harder and with new, satisfying fireworks. high end quality, made in germany. btw, they had 2 (!) gigs at madison square garden in the past, which says all to guys who know, how difficult it is to get there on stage. stacey, rammstein is a li'l city with an US-Air Base, which you can find in the south-west of germany, rheinland-pfalz.
greetz from good old germany and relax: if rammstein caught you one time, they'll never let you go back to the point before !
OMGGGGGG
Deutschland is my next upload :) the reaction is coming soon!
I've been during 2010 at their concert, and I have been just on 24th and 25th May in Belgrade 2024.
I would go again and again. It's so worth it.
Especially live, that's really convincing!
Seeing Rammstein live is an amazing experience. You don't go there to watch a band play songs, you go there to watch an amazing multisensory show, and the crowd is always enthusiastic.
I love how you breakdown the songs with the emotions of the songs. Excellent
Bavaria was my FAVORITE part of Germany. Absolutely stunning part of the country.
@@StaceyRPGReacts Oh great, you have been there & yes it is gorgeous! I still have family that lives all over Germany & sometimes I miss living there but Georgia is a beautiful state as well & I dont regret it
Hey, ich bin auch aus der Nähe von München (Polling bei Weilheim) und 1967 geboren!

"Rammstein can unite the world!" Your quote is wonderful and true.
"Ramstein can unite the world" - thank you so much for that comment.
Till Linderman the lead singer is actually a professional pyrotechnician and does the fire shows for every show they do
I recommend that you continue with RAMMSTEIN!!!Get involved with RAMMSTEIN!!!!You have to pay attention to the lyrics!!!The lyrics are often ambiguous!!!Start with the old RAMMSTEIN songs!!!If you ever If you come across the song ADIEU, then you will understand it!!!😏 TILL LINDEMANN (the singer also has a solo project: TILL LINDEMANN!!! I can only recommend it💪👍) So, welcome to the RAMMSTEIN family 🫡🙋
Why react more than 1 time to the same band? There are tens of thousands other bands to discover - and this is what this channel is about, I thought.
@@svenlima🤦
Richard the guitarist also has a side project called Emigrate. He sings in English.
Music videos are amazing and live Song even more, they are amazing artist, for me the greates band ever
I saw them in Atlanta in 2012. The best concert in my 56 years and seeing many shows. I thought KISS liked fire but damn...Rammstein takes it to another level. 🤘
After watching Rammstein everything else seems wimpy 😂
I saw this band in Minnesota in 1998 during the Family Values tour. Korn was the last act of the concert. Alot of fun.
I can also highly recommend their live performance in the US called Rammstein in Amerika
Everybody starts with "Du hast" but there are crazier fireworks, Tills voice hits much deeper notes, there are lots of amazing crowds and there are more theatrical performances. There is so much to discover - enjoy!
Rammstein is a place in Germany there was a accident with jetplane s in a airshow
Me thinking of Mein Teil, Ich tu Di weh
Flew to Paris to see them live in July. A spectacular experience. Tickets bought to see them again in Dublin this June.
You have me. It’s a wedding song.
Yesss! Please more Rammstein reaction 🤩.. really enjoyed ur reaction.
Would love if you get to check out Rammstein Seeman 1996, Du riechst so gut, Mein herz Brennt ❤
FYI - Lead singers name is Till Lindemann and he has some interesting solo material to check out
Look forward to more reactions 🤘🏼
First words on every reaction video of this performance, "Is he on a treadmill?"
Love your reaction !
👍👍👍🇸🇪💕😎
Hi stacey, just to surprise you. Actiually this song is a wedding vow:
There is no event that compares to a Rammstein concert. It’s really a once in a lifetime show no matter how many you go to each one is special especially when they have the French signing in German something Germany tried twice and failed but Rammstein plays one show and succeeds
Always cracks me up when I watch a reaction to this video, the majority of people start off with "Is he on a treadmill???"
"Is he on a treadmill?" Another satisfied Rammstein fan
Saw Rammstein in Cardiff on the 'Zeit' tour. People were calling the fire brigade as they thought the stadium was on fire (rammstein use 1,000lts of fuel per show!) and it could be heard 10 miles away
Nothing pleases me more than seeing a beast of a babe beiing humble and down to earth😊
I lived in GE for 4 years. Best time ever. I took my kids to see them in 2022. Best show ever
If it’s Rammstein there WILL be fire!
One of the best live bands!!
Their shows sell out immediately
A must see show, welcome 🤘🏻🔥
Til Lindenmann = vocalist is actually a pyrotechnic expert, so yeah their shows are full of explosives and incredible devices
Hey nice to see new people discover Rammstein, they are performing again in europe in 2024! I can't wait to see them again!!
I've seen them twice and they are amazing. The opening blast was heard 11 miles away.
Do more Rammstein. They are incredible. Every live performance does not disappoint
More on the way!
@StaceyRPGReacts Can't wait! More Jinjer too. You'll enjoy it!! You could always throw in some Avenged Sevenfold too sometime. But the first two for sure. Enjoying your reactions!
And their music videos🤯😱

its simple: a play with word, but in german "du hast mich" "du hasst mich" sound equal but means "you have me" and "you hate me"
Rammstein is alwas more than one layer. But the full meaning is limit to understandin of german and its meaning
The entire band is covered with flame retardants because of the pyrotechnics. The keyboardist walks something like 10 miles per concert or something crazy.
Make shure that if you by tickets to a Rammstein concert, get the pricey one in the front, called, FIRE ZONE. IT'S WORTH IT 100%.
Weird Huh?
Seen them twice and it is the greatest experience. Pyrotechnics are amazing. It really is like that and it gets WARM!!
Cant wait for you to see the live version of Feuer frei🙀🔥
You mentioned the guys had something that looked like blood on their arms. This is actually a flame-retardant gel. The lead singer is a licensed pyrotechnician and he personally manufactures all of the pyrotechnic effects used in the show.
This is a legendary band. I'm Dutch but speak german as well. Being a metal band singing in German and even chauvanistic europeans like French people singing a long, thats' an accomplishment. FYI check out the original Mein hertz brennt video and then listen to the piano version. What a singer he is.
Great reaction! Since you like the crowd interaction,
Check out “Ich will” and “Rammlied” live!
It’s amazing!
I felt the energy when I finally saw them in a concert.
6:10 - I wouldn't worry too much, as they're their own licensed pyrotechnicians. They've even perfected the face-mounted flame thrower.
It's as awesome (and insane) as it sounds!

Du hast translated to "you hate" or "you have" (depending on pronunciation) and "Mich" is - Me. so basically - "you hate/have me"
Also, fun fact about Till (the lead singer) - he's a licensed pyrotechnician, and often plans the band's Pyro.
Also, for something completely different - if you loved this Crown participation - check out Depeche mode's - Never let me down again (live)
He is a licensed pyrotechnician!?!? WHAT!! This man can do it all!!
Du hast = you have
Du hasst = you hate
The entire band are licensed, TIl just has the higher tier of license so he can actually produce pyrotechnics, the others are just licensed to handle it
DM song is a very good proposal ^^
Rammstein has even done a cover of Depeche Mode with the song "Stripped", definitely worth a watch too!
You can tell that the band has absolute confidence in their lead singer, the pyrotechnics master :)
Beautiful reaction , Gorgeous Stacey
Stacey 👍🥰👍
now have the hell of a good time listening to

PS: it just made me so happy as you said "Rammstein can unite the world". (there are only 2 bands needed to do a worldwide open air festival - Rammstein & Metallica !).
90 yrs. ago we've been in war with France and now all these guys sing German, even if they (may) don't know what the lyrics might be all about.
And if the singer appears on stage without a mic. and the audience sings along the song . . .
. . . baby, this is better than having sex 😎
the singer Till Lindemann is a certified Pyrotechnician and all band members have fire retardant oil stuff on them so they dont burn themselves.
Thanks Stacey for this React. Rammstein unfortunately controversial in our press (Germany), especially with their song "Deutschland". A typical Problem of us Germans. It's nice to see that people in other countries recognize the achievements and artistic demand of this band.
I saw them in 2011 in South Africa,, still don't know what they say but I remember the heat from the flames on my face....
Stacey..greetings from germany !!!!!!!!!
