I think it needs to be noted how good Derek Bloom was on drums and Matt Good on guitar. Also the fact that Sonny was about fifteen years old. Plus NOTHING sounded like this back then. This was an actual breath of fresh air that a lot of bands tried to copy and couldn’t.

I definitely think that Lustbug, Turmoil, Father Said, and Oceans combined the emo influences with electronics really well. I recommend these songs.

Heroine by fftl is one of my fave albums ever, I do have kinda shit taste but I embrace that

It’s too bad this is the bad mix. There are two mixes of this album and the one on streaming services sounds way worse.
Also Heroine is their masterpiece album.
