Enjoyed the old homes, sad seeing old dilapidated church/school! That truck stole the show, worth trying to retrieve. Beautiful scenery, thanks for all your work, to let us see it. When in tall grass, scoot your feet, when you pick them up you are more likely of putting them down on a nail. Stay safe, God Bless you all! (Glen). WV.
I would love to step back in time and ride in that old truck. There is no telling how long it has been there. I found out that the church was closed in 1940. It's been sitting there many years without being used. Thanks for the tips. We are glad you like the videos!
We really appreciate it! That is somewhere we have always wanted to visit. I have never been out of the states though. Maybe one day we will get the chance.
I love your videos, your finds are always amazing! I'm from a small town (in MI) along the shore of Lake Michigan, small towns have some good finds and a lot of charm. Thank you for taking me along with you!
We would love to come up that way and explorer! I have wondered if that area has a lot of abandoned houses like here. We also really love the small towns. Thanks for the comment, we are glad you enjoyed the video!
We have a house in Mississippi. We are there a few months out of the year. We don't have much luck filming there though. We were wanting to go through Alabama and Georgia sometime in the next year or so. I'm glad you like the video. And thanks for the comment.
Thanks! My son, Jacob, has been helping me edit the videos. It was taking so much time for me to do everything that I decided to get some help. The camera is the same, but we found some better settings. I still need a better camera for low light. Glad you like the changes! Hope you are doing well!
Great job Jacob! I’m watching this one the second time and seeing more cool stuff! I love that old Quaker oil sign..I hope you salvaged it Al..Wood stove looks usable as well..the old vehicles are great! Faith’s color-commentary adds to the charm of these old houses..such a soothing and comfortable voice..your videos are like a pot of pinto beans Al, even better the second time! 👍❤
Very very old farm truck! It would be the 20s to 30s! I do know it’s an international! I think that sign that said you can’t remove property is dated 1917 I believe? That house I’ve definitely seen it before! That round bard is amazing! Really cool old old home! That belt on the wall is old. Really really cool find!
Yeah that was a really good find for us! I was really wanting to explore the upstairs but it was just so bad that I couldn't take the chance. It's amazing how old everything there was. I'm wondering how long that truck has sat in that Barn.
Them TV's appear to be from the early to mid 1960s. That truck is way cool...nice find! The shape of the radiator grill with the little point in the center makes me think its a Chevrolet but definitely late teens or 20s as you said.
I couldn't ask for a better state to be born and raised in. Im a kansas girl through and through. We might not have big cities or much of anything, but we have some of the prettiest sunsets, and it's peaceful and quiet.
I agree! I was born in the south and I decided to relocate to the Midwest in 2010. Work was very hard to come by down in Mississippi. I thought that I would have to live in a big city like Omaha or Lincoln to have work. That was not the case. Within a week of being in Nebraska and not knowing anyone, I had all the work I could handle from that point on. I'm definitely not a city boy. Even if I'm not out filming I will ride out on the dirt road in the evenings after work just to catch the sunset. Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you like the video.
These old places are very awesome! The bells in the tower’s need saved! The house is very depilated! The stuff found around them old houses is really cool! Trees grow right through old equipment and trucks, that is Mother Nature reclaiming her property! You should take a metal detector as I do when I explore, you never know what you are going to find! Are you in rial Kansas, as it looks it? To fall through to the basement would ruin your day! Most of the old farm houses or old houses had built in cabinets. Ok, you just said in Kansas…lol. I thought you was here! I’m born and raised country boy in Kansas and know of hundreds apon hundreds of abandoned places. Indian caves you name it I probably know of it! Looked like an old glass milk jug! Boots are a must not tennis shoes ! Too many rattle snakes here! Quaker oil is a very old oil company that doesn’t exist anymore!
I just wish we had started making these videos years ago. A lot of the houses are gone now. It's amazing to me that so few people really care about the history. Every property that I explore, I am always imagining the families that live there in all that they experienced.
That TT is quiet the find not sure if it is an actual ford but I call all trucks from that era a TT. Met some people from Europe this winter that called my Hawkeye stocking cap a Hawkeye tuk. AS always very interesting.
We thought it was just a wagon at first and then I spotted the differential. There's no telling how many years that truck has been sitting there. I would love to know some history on that place!
Watching in Lincoln Ne. Grew up in S.E. Nebraska and my parents were married in Marysville KS. I was thinking that the truck looked like something from the Waltons, and then you said it. I would guess the Zenith tv was early to mid 70s.

I had to look it up. That's way down south. We still have a place in the South but it's in North Mississippi.
Love these old house’s! Very cool find & video! ❤️👍🤘
We love them too! There are several that I have filmed that are no longer there. Glad you liked the video!
Beautiful scenery there. I thought Kansas was just flat and dry, I guess not. I've never been there but my family roots are from there.
I always thought the whole state was flat. I have been very surprised on my last few rides down there and how beautiful it is!
I love this show, very entertaining and wholesome.. Thank you so much for sharing it..❤

Wow that old truck was a great find Faith! Great explore. I still have my old metal Waltons lunch pail. Lol
I was excited over that truck. We love watching the Walton's. They don't make shows like that anymore. Glad you liked the video!

Yeah we were definitely excited to find that truck! I was thinking Chevrolet as well after looking at pictures online.

It's always sad to see churches and schools in this condition 😢
I found out later that that school shut down in 1940.
T.V. @ 8:48 was made from 1968-72. Zenith's first color television came out in 1961
Awesome! Thanks for the info.
