Not that Disney World is ugly, but this park is much more aesthetically pleasing to my eye than the park in Florida. The landscaping and the theming are just amazing!
Matt Man And it's actually maintained properly, unlike WDW. It was/could still be an equal, but the current management have no intention on fixing it. It's actually getting worse... The new hub is absolutely rotten. They ripped out the beautiful Rose Garden, filled in waterways all for a mass of concrete.
pmd101 Yeah, and the plus side about Disneyland is that 80% of its visitors are annual pass holders aka disney regulars who live in LA, so Disneyland can take their time with decor, refurbishments, touch ups because they know their visitors will experience the ride sooner or later. However Disney World does not have that option as most of their visitors come from overseas or far away places who only can come to Disney once in their lives or once every so years, so they can't afford to have maintenance and refurbishment walls all over the place and rides closed because they want their visitors to experience the most Disney as possible etc. (e.g.. Disneyland's Big Thunder Mountain was down for nearly a year for maintenance as well as improvements to the decoration, theming, scenery, while Disney World's Big Thunder Mountain was only down for a couple of months to fix basically only the necessities.) This is also why Disneyland can theme their rides for special times of the year (Haunted Mansion Holiday, It's a Small World Holiday, Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy) and Disney World cannot.
The part where you walk down main street made me a bit tear eyed, the music and the environment is all so pretty I could smell the churros I wannntttt onnneee 😭
I've only been to disneyworld, but all of the flowerbeds, BENCHES (which i find florida lacks) and the general look of disneyland makes it seem more magical
I desperately miss Disneyland. So many wonderful memories. It may be a long time before it looks like this again. If ever. 😔 Long live the Magic Kingdom. Go away virus, please.
So do I! Going here was a tradition my best friend and I had but we haven't been in about 10 years. I'm actually crying watching this video. I love Disneyland so much, it gives me only complete joy.
I personally like Disneyland more than Disneyworld. Mostly because it's the original thing, no matter how much more money they spent/how much more spectacular.
Everything is just better too. I like the authenticity of Main Street, a simple castle, it’s a small world, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, etc are just better at Disneyland.
I am currently in quarantine on my stationary exercise bike, (I put the video on 1.75x speed) pretending that I am biking through Disney.😭😭 I miss Disneyland so much! Thank you for this beautiful and magical video that brought joy to my life on this day 4/23/20💜🙏🏽 everyone stay safe and see y’all there when things are better.
Disneyland seem cozier with more surprises around every corner. Bigger trees too. Magic Kingdom has wider open spaces, yet the rides are a bit different, especially the queue lines!
queue lines at Disneyland can be smaller due to the fact that Disneyland isn't crowded like Disney world is. If Los Angeles/Orange County kids are in school, the park is probably less crowded
I’ve been going to Disney ever since I was a little kid and I miss going there. The week when schools and some stores started closing I had planned to go to Disney and I hoped this virus would go away soon but I just feel horrible now. I always went to Disney when I was stressed and felt like I needed a break from the real world, and now when I need it most, it’s gone. Please everyone stay inside, wear a mask, wash your hands, and stay safe! Help others and yourself get their happy place back!
Many Blessings to You for putting this on UA-cam, Been to Disneyland so many times in life that I come to UA-cam when feeling blue and ride a Virtual Disneyland ride or two, but this is an hour to just play over speakers while at the house, Sure am feeling much better now than before finding this~ :)
I'm so glad I found this video by random search today. I haven't been there since I was 6 and I am 21 now. There are actually things I remember and seeing them again in this video actually gave me butterflies and almost teared up at a couple points. Even just some sounds of bells/whistles along with the music just... I need to go back again sometime while I'm young
Disneyland is the best. It was Walt's original dream. I have never been to WDW, and one day I would like to go, but I'm perfectly content visiting Disneyland often. It's just beautiful and really is the happiest place. I watch Disney Vlogs very often, and the parks at WDW definitely don't look as beautiful as Disneyland and it seems like people in general are happier at Disneyland.
Awesome video. I wish someone would make some Disneyland scenic videos where the camera doesn't pan or move, it just stays still for 15 min. Just stationary shots looking out over Disneyland. Like looking out over Rivers America from a bench, using an 11mm or 16mm lens. Or looking down Main Street from the train station. I would watch videos like that over and over again.
I've never been to Disneyland but I always imagine it a place where you can forget about all your worries and problems and just have fun and joy for hours upon hours.
I used to live close to Disneyland and in the summer I could sit in my backyard and watch the fireworks show they had every night! And of course, I'd pop over there anytime I felt the urge. What a fun place. I remember everything you show in the video. Thanks for sharing.
I was supposed to go to Disneyland with my high school band as a senior in June, after 7 years of fundraising. It was like a rite of passage for band kids at my school. I hope I'll be able to go in the next few years, but it's so bittersweet because I'll be an actual adult instead of a kid going with their schoolmates and best friends.
Thank you for this. Brings back memories of taking my son here a few years ago when he was 1. I walked him around the park in his stroller like this for his nap.
This was FANTASTIC! Gave me happy vibes... I've visited many a time in my life and it is one of my favorite places of all time. But this also bummed me out a bit when I realized I still have a little over a year before I get to return to Disneyland... I'll be 31 and I'm still as excited and giddy as a child at the prospect of visiting the Disney Parks!
Disneyland is my favorite place to go...i haven't been here since 9 years and this video brings back soooooooo many memories. Im going here this summer I CANT WAIT!!!!
Thank you for this. It's been way too long since I've been, but it gives me a feeling of being there again. Do you have, or could you do a video walk through at night? What a day here at the happiest place on earth. It’s so beautiful. Everyone’s just so happy. It’s bright out. And the castle is looking fabulous, as usual! Love that little forest area in the hub. Everything is magical here. It’s so gorgeous. Even at night, this place looks beautiful.
I was at Disneyland back in 1959 with my parents and brother and they use to have gun fights right next to the Mark Twain boat. One of the players would be up on the balcony of the saloon and the sheriff would shot at him until he dropped down to the ground and ran away. It was a lot of fun to see back then. This video brings back some nice memories of that time for me. Thanks for posting. JN
im going in a week and i couldn't be more excited. my whole house is full of disney stuff, we have a whole hutch just full of disney souvenirs and antiques
wow you chose the right day to go! Id honestly would rather go on a very hot day rather than a very crowded day!! so jelly right now! so many memories there.......
I used to love going to Disneyland a lot when I was younger. The trick back then was to park in the Disneyland Hotel and take the monorail right into the heart of Disneyland with no long lines :) A "BIG" thumbs up :) ROCK ON!!!!!!
It actually makes me feel like im there at the park lol And whenever i go i have butterflies in my stomach because of all the rides Thank you for posting this video!

And I have never been to Disney World but I wouldn't mind not going because from the sound of it Disneyland has more magic!
I’m 22 years old and I’ve never been to Disneyland. I feel like I’ve missed out but I hope I get to see it one day. I always dreamed about it as a kid.
My mom is in this! She had an annual pass the year of this and is waving at the camera in her tyedyed shirt and braids and ball cap about 1/4 way into this! RIP dear Mom! You loved this place and loved us, always there at the drop of a hat to give us a hand.
Disney world is so large in scale, that it is much harder to pay close attention to detail. I was on the property and also found that Disney can not find enough employees to fit their exact "golden standard"for all of their parks. I actually had to complain to management. The food quality in florida was terrible unless I spent sixty in a fine resturaunt. The it's a small world attraction in florida was stuffy and I saw plastic bottles in the water. Disney World did have it pros but all in all I have to say.... that coming from California not all of my standards were met in Florida. california has a history with backlots and art, and mostly everything Walt was known for happened right here in Cali. Most everything Disney is renowned for takes place here in California. Florida doesnt even change attractions for the holidays, because of the amount of tourism. A ton of the attractions in florida (example: Space Mountain) need a MAJOR update.
Thank you!! I'm doing a Disneyland campaign for my tabletop RPG, and a few of my players have never gone to Disneyland, so this is a perfect video to get them to 'see' the park before we do the campaign! Thank you again!
I Love Disneyland Sooo Much to Me I Consider Disneyland As My Second Home to Me it's a Place where I can Escape from This World And go To Another Such As Disneyland And Also it's a Place where I can Be a Kid Again I Love And Miss Disneyland Soo Much can't Wait to Come Back Soon :) And Thanks for Posting This
Thanks for Sharing this beautiful video of the magical & a happy place. Love the rides, shows, yummy churros, variety of delicious Disney signature dishes and the whole environment... 😎👏
+Bruce Forrest It doesnt actually capture the atmosphere well. Nice video, but it's not the same. Plus, the rides are amazing. Just standing in line for rides is entertaining.
Might be going to Disneyland to celebrate my niece's 3rd birthday. It will be her first time ever at Disney if we go and her mind is going to be blown!
Wow thanks soooo much. your video helped me to reminisce about the past :D wow i really want to go back to california again...Thus, I will go back and live there again one day..:D
isn't it funny we can walk around a park for hours but when you're home you get on your ride to the local convient store just minutes away .. Can you say that's crazy and lazy?! Ha!!
Camaro Troy I guess cuz you can't really drive in your car to a ride at Disneyland?? Also, it's a lot more trustworthy to know you're in an amusement park and your mostly safe, not like when you're walking the streets alone at night.

Awesome videos! Next time you go back to Disneyland, could you please do a full park walk through at night? Go down Main street and hang a right into Tomorrowland? Go that way, just to mix it up a bit? I just love watching your walk through stuff on my VR headset.
+Vanessa Vallejo I've been 3 times and I'm all the way up in Canada... Trust me, you don't need anyone to go with. You'll have a blast with friends OR by yourself!
I don't have friends if I had I would travel with them everywhere!!! and my aunt's don't let my cousins go, since I was a little girl I always wished to go there but my parents didn't had money and now I have the money but I can't go :(
I don’t think I have ever seen Disneyland this empty. Maybe once. But then again my family only goes on days like Saturday when more people show up at the park, the one time I went when it was mostly empty was with my mom where we actually had some breathing room. We both dislike huge crowds so yeah.
So many of us are missing Disneyland during this quarantine. Nice to remember it full of people. Hopefully it’ll be back to normal soon :)
Yeah, haven’t been in 2 years but I miss the place so much!
I dream to go there while high off wax and make an album after
I adore Disneyland. It's my second home. Watching videos like this make me so happy!

Good points. Hadn't really thought about the different natures of the parks.
Because Disneyland was designed by Walt Disney himself!
Disney World wasn't
Katrina Felix We're talking about the aesthetics of the resorts not which one is bigger.
I feel that this is one of the most important elements of Disneyland where you feel the magic once you step inside.
The part where you walk down main street made me a bit tear eyed, the music and the environment is all so pretty I could smell the churros

this is great for people who can't get there for one reason or another, thank you for posting!
sfpatrick1968 no idea if i visit one in my whole life :)
+sfpatrick1968 i live in France and i think i'll never see this park so this video is wonderful for me :) Thank you

lol we're switched 😂😂😂 I live near this Disneyland but I don't think I'll ever see the one in France lol
is this near paris?
Well now nobody can go 😭
I personally like Disneyland more than Disneyworld. Mostly because it's the original thing, no matter how much more money they spent/how much more spectacular.
just the feel it gives can never be re created

queue lines at Disneyland can be smaller due to the fact that Disneyland isn't crowded like Disney world is. If Los Angeles/Orange County kids are in school, the park is probably less crowded
@@JetAirplaneTV1964 It's because Anaheim has turned into a dangerous, gang-infested warzone. That's why there aren't as many crowds.

When was this filmed? It's gloriously uncrowded!
Frank K april
I'm guessing maybe during a Magic Morning before it opens to the regular customers?
I'm guessing sometime between September and February because haunted mansion was being transformed into the holiday theme.
I'm not sure about this being filmed during the Magic Morning. The sun looks to be too high in the sky.
Show Me The Vlogs my bday is. Feb

Is it weird that I even find myself people watching in the video! Hahaha!
i could not walk around Disney like that without doing any rides!
Truuuuuuu
prinsess nat So true!! Bruh!!
Well the guy is probably an annual passholder so I'm sure he's done the rides before.
The giant belch at 59:13 just gets me😆😆😆 I guess it's the consequence of The Tropical Hideaway offerings
Being a Disneyland cop has to be an amazing job. Getting paid to smile, wave, and help people. Sign me up lol

There is a channel that does that actually!
I've never been to Disneyland but I always imagine it a place where you can forget about all your worries and problems and just have fun and joy for hours upon hours.
I miss the twilight zone tower of terror and paradise pier
The main reason I'm excited for Star Wars Land is because you'll then be able to go completely around the Rivers of America!
No more dead ends ^__^
I've been there six times since 2006 and I NEVER get sick of it. The whole atmosphere is amazing.
I used to live close to Disneyland and in the summer I could sit in my backyard and watch the fireworks show they had every night! And of course, I'd pop over there anytime I felt the urge. What a fun place. I remember everything you show in the video. Thanks for sharing.
360 degrees camera would be awesome for this
+Ricardo Morales you just gotta change the quality number on the UA-cam video, that always happens with 360 cameras
All I need is a VR and a treadmill and I’m all set for the rest of my life!
This is great to watch when on the treadmill, that way I feel like I'm actually moving through space and am having a nice lil journey
This is bringing me some comfort while I recover from surgery.
I loved watching this video ! I couldn't go to Disneyland because of this pandemic and this video brought it to me! So nostalgic! :)))

Agreed
Omg Disneyland at night is so damn beautiful and peaceful
The one thing both Disneyland and Walt Disney World have in common...Those damn baby strollers!
Lol 😂 Those baby strollers get so darn annoying, those moms pushing them around and getting in your way when you walk.
Ive gone to both parks and I just prefer Disneyland alot more than Disneyworld.
Nice day...not even crowded.
I haven’t been to Disneyland since 1997 and this video is sparking so many happy memories! Thank you for making me smile non-stop for an hour!
My favorite part of the video was that shot of the subs as the monorail went overhead. Quintessential Disneyland shot! Loved this SO much!!
So much better than Disneyworld, love both though
im going in a week and i couldn't be more excited. my whole house is full of disney stuff, we have a whole hutch just full of disney souvenirs and antiques

Love this! Disneyland really is the happiest place on Earth! Also that little boy who opened the door in Toontown was adorable

Thanks for Sharing this beautiful video of the magical & a happy place. Love the rides, shows, yummy churros, variety of delicious Disney signature dishes and the whole environment... 😎👏
Annual pass life is a good life
This was a very pleasant video, one of the best walkthru's I be ever watched. Wonderful graphics, I watched it on my 42 inch tv thru my Xbox one!
I'm taking my older sister and Nephew to Disney its their first time! so excited to see my sis's and nephews faces :)
Cool, now I can save that ridiculous $100 admission price, and just watch this video.

You're too poor to afford it anyways
This was wonderful. So simple yet wonderful. I haven't been to Disneyland in a long long time and this was very nostalgic. Thank you!
Might be going to Disneyland to celebrate my niece's 3rd birthday. It will be her first time ever at Disney if we go and her mind is going to be blown!
One of the BEST `walk through tours` on you tube!!

don't we all. lol
I must admit I chortled as you walked right into the Sleeping Beauty’s Castle photo. Whoops.
Beautiful video. I watch it a lot!
thank you disney is amazing and bringing it back to life
Going June 1st and can’t wait to experience it at 25% capacity!
I’ve been to Disneyland 3 times so far. 2010,2013, and 2018. Disneyland is one of my favorite places.
Who here really likes the smell of the maps of disneyland? Or am I just crazy??
Awesome videos! Next time you go back to Disneyland, could you please do a full park walk through at night? Go down Main street and hang a right into Tomorrowland? Go that way, just to mix it up a bit? I just love watching your walk through stuff on my VR headset.
This is so wholesome ♡
Never knew they played Big Iron at frontier land! Need to check that out next time!
I'm going to Disneyland for my birthday and I am super excited! I really can't wait! Great video man
These are really great, thanks. Nice to put on in the background or before sleeping.
He's Hank! He's Hank! The angry dwarf!
Disneyland in different part of the world really looks the same.. I mean strategically the location of park rides etc. 😍
I really appreciate this video. Anytime someone tells me to "go to [my] happy place" I just cue this up. Thank you!
for a moment I thought I was in disney, omg I wish I could go one day, I have the money but I just don't have anyone to go with .
I volunteer as tribute!
+Vanessa Vallejo I've been 3 times and I'm all the way up in Canada... Trust me, you don't need anyone to go with. You'll have a blast with friends OR by yourself!
I don't have friends if I had I would travel with them everywhere!!! and my aunt's don't let my cousins go, since I was a little girl I always wished to go there but my parents didn't had money and now I have the money but I can't go :(
Go with me. Hit me up on Instagram I'll go with u @goldenpharaohking
Going by yourself can be great too
Can't wait to go back
I don’t think I have ever seen Disneyland this empty. Maybe once. But then again my family only goes on days like Saturday when more people show up at the park, the one time I went when it was mostly empty was with my mom where we actually had some breathing room. We both dislike huge crowds so yeah.
I go every year and I can’t wait to go again
