Yessir. New firmware has fixed all my issues. The lack of 1/4 jacks was a bummer but I have a way around that. The preamp is pretty dang good as well. Capture card works better than my elgato capture card .
Interesting. I already own a capture card so I was looking into the Rodecaster Duo, but if the new firmware has fixed some of the things I been reading, I might buy it
@@haies09 the Duo is nice. I would have gone with that if I didn't have issues with the elgato freezing on me. This has worked flawless since the currently firmware release (1.17 I think). I haven't had to restart it and redo all my setting. Sound quality ality from mic has improved and no loss of signal for video. It reconnects now automatically have PC restart.
how did you get around the issue of it not having the dual 1/4 inch outputs for monitors? I have KRK monitor speakers currently and i'd like to be able to output to them easily. Were you running another audio interface with it?
I bought one of these and returned it after a couple of weeks. It's sooooo close to doing what it needs to do. But it has a raunchy headphone output. So much noise in it. It's annoying. The latency is also unbearable to me when monitoring my own voice on stream. It's slight but I'm used to zero latency and it just feels and sounds really unnatural. The pads and stuff arent as nice as I thought that they would be. Too easy to forget what is what. I wanted to love it and it's close to being perfect but they really needed a few dozen people to use this thing for a month to get feedback. Cause it has flaws for sure. Maybe rev2....
It having a capture card in there on TOP of it being a preamp is HUGE, especially for the price.
5:21 this is what my wife said when we first met

Hercules Stream 200 XLR is a new streaming interface on the scene you probably want to check out!!!!!

I love how it has a capture card in it!
Dig it, sadly the lack of HDMi 2.1 kinda hurts.
