Today's video is a comprehensive look at Sezane and their knitwear collection, featuring new in favourites and classic styles I wear on repeat. Sharing everything you need to know before buying knitwear at Sezane and of course all the outfit ideas of how to style it. You can save this video as a helpful styling guide to refer back to:) I've thought about making this one for quite a while so it's about time I got around to it! And I really hope you all find it helpful and it gives you all lots of outfit ideas and inspiration:) As always I'd love to hear which is your favourite item of knitwear at Sezane? Both ones I have or maybe something you've spotted online instead? It's always lovely to hear from you all:) Big hugs everyone and I'm looking forward to hearing from you all, Jess:)
Omg every part of this video is me. I love your deep awareness of your actual style including necklines, comfort, look, hang of the garment, a bit of waist, just YOU knowing your body. You teach me so much every single day!!! Love your mind, lovely Jessica.😊
Aww what a wonderful comment thank you so much for writing that to me:) Just knowing our own shapes is half the battle isn't it and then I guess it's all about trusting ourselves. Trusting that we know deep down what really suits us or how we want to present ourselves to everyone else:) It's a process I know, but a wonderful one to discover. Big hugs lovely and so glad you enjoyed the video:)
Very helpful review. Sézane has been a favourite of mine for so many years. I totally agree with you on the Betty cardigan; I decided to say goodbye to mine after realising that I wasn't finding enough ways to wear it. So you are definitely not the only one 😊
It's a shame because i love the cardigan on others and the quality of course is always beautiful, I just found the shape didn't sit right with me as it turned out so I had to make space for some more than did instead! Hope you're having a lovely week and thanks so much for popping by:)
A really helpful guide Jess. I love the Leontine and I also bought the last cardigan you showed but it was miles too big so I gave it to my daughter who has worn it loads. I can't remember the name either. 🥴 I love the look of the two heirloom lacy style ones, food for thought! Hope you have a good week. Nice to have you back on a Sunday morning too.🤗
Morning Lynne, lovely to hear from you and I'm so pleased you found this video helpful:) I was worried I'd waffled too much but I wanted to give you all the details so you can all make the best decisions for you. The Leontine is such a fab knit isn't it, and shame about the striped cardigan for you but at least it got lots of wear in the end! Feels good to be back on Sunday's, as always thanks so much for popping by:)
Hi Jess, great video so useful!!! I have the Gaspard and the Leontine in a couple of colours ❤ them, very good quality. Thanks and have a lovely Sunday 💐
Great choices Elena, they're both such classics aren't they and so versatile too I can never recommend them highly enough! Have a wonderful week ahead lovely and thanks as always for popping by x
Hello 👋🏽 my friend Jess, Sézane is my favorite brand you feature 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Great idea to flip the jumper with the buttons in the back or front, smart. Gorgeous striped jumper/sweater. Love outfit #8. Ooo, love the Noah leopard print jacket 😍. I need an “Angie” cardigan 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🎉🎉. Phenomenal video 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. I just adore you & great suggestions. Thank you 😊. Cheers 😉🌷
Hello Angela, so lovely to hear from you:) I thought it was about time I did an in-depth video on their knitwear, and so happy to hear everyone seems to have found it helpful! I love those Angie style ones too, they're just so delicate and pretty and pieces I know I'll have forever! Big hugs lovely and hope you're having a fabulous week:)
Morning Jess, Loved this review. I too absolutely love everything Sézane! You have a wonderful collection there. I have the majority of the ones you’ve shown on my wish list haha. They do as you say just everything so beautifully! I love that the quality is there but it’s not in your face and over the top. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out on your Vinted just incase 😉 I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and week ahead. Take care and sending hugs as always xx
Aww that's a lovely review thank you so much Bonnie I really appreciate that:) Glad to hear I've helped a little and forming a wish list is always a fun idea! x
Morning Jess, though you look great in all of the outfits, my favourite was the rust coloured sweater dress. I had an oversized mohair jumper early 80's till my Mum washed and ruined it, along with a pleated skirt, which she carefully ironed out every pleat 😂 Enjoy your Sunday ... very wet here in Sheff xx 😘
Haha that made me giggle, all the best intentions hey! I remember my Mum telling me her Mum 'kindly' washed all her biker friends clothes while staying over. They'd cultivated that dirt for years and she washed, pressed and polished it all out in an evening haha! The rust colour jumper is a favourite here too, strange though as I've not seen that colour come back in stock for a while, keeping my fingers crossed for you all. Big hugs lovely:)
I love how sweaters look great on everyone else! I have sweater envie. I can’t wear anything high necked; I don’t like crew necks; and I can’t wear wool - except Sezane’s fine merino and very little cashmere. Add to that, I can’t do boxy or oversized - well, that’s pretty much goodbye to sweaters! Good for my pocketbook! LOVE seeing your outfits!
Great, invaluable advice as always, which definitely helps me make the right choices when deciding on items. Love love LOVE your channel, you are by far my fave fashion influencer ❤
Sezane has the most beautiful pieces. All that you featured are lovely. Unfortunately, I can’t wear animal products due to allergies. So when I shop Sezane I go for the organic cotton pieces. I will have to say the sweater you’re wearing is my favorite. I love color. Thank you for sharing your insight. ❤
Thank you for this review. I have the 2 piece navy sweater and skirt set....very user friendly in the cold winter. I prefer the merino wool sweaters and wish they would offer more. I have to be careful with sweater fabrics like you do. Great review. Many thanks.
Nice Video, Jess I love knitwear but i would always check how they need to be washed. Some infos would have been lovely. The Cardigans are awesome. Have a great Rest of the weekend
Yes knitwear has to be one of the best things about Winter! We may be forced to be cold but at least we can feel stylish doing it! Perhaps in another video I shall go through how I take care of all my clothes, maybe that's something everyone would like to see too. Have a wonderful week ahead Diana:)
Hi Jessie, I wanted to share my experience with the Betty cardigan. I love it because it feels more like a jacket, so I often wear it over a tank top and leave some buttons undone. That way you can see my jeans/trousers, which are usually belted, so I have waist definition. I have also purchased the Augusta and plan to wear it the same way. I consider them both alternatives to a blazer.
Thanks for another great video Jess! I bought the Auguste cardigan jacket (with the pockets) in navy with ecru trim and absolutely love it. A special treat to myself 😂
Thanks for sharing ❤ I love their HOLLIE JUMPER, and never bought their clothes before. Could you know kindly please advise on their sizing and fitting please ?
I have the Mia in black. So cozy and I love the cuffs and contrasting buttons. Only have the Gaspard in red striped . Last year I purchased a gorgeous aqua blue cardigan which I don't see on the website now. I have a few others. I am eyeing the Evy which is selling out fast! Knitwear is the only thing I purchase from Sesane. Such gorgeous pieces.
very useful thanks. I just bought that yak wool one, now regretting it. I'll wait for it to arrive and then see what the deal is. After a camel boxy crew and thought that might tick the boxes but we'll see...
Havingcstayed away from the Betty for years, I finally bought one this year. If I had to design a cardigan to look terrible on me, it would be the Betty.
Gooedmorning Jess, you must be able to read my mind, I have Gaspard and Mia in camel on my wishlist and I also have sensitive skin. So after watching your video I’ve decided to go for Mia😊I totally agree on Leontine, I have the ecru with blue stripes and I get so much wear out of it these weeks 🥰 Have a lovely Sunday🫶🏻
@@ElleX-d3l Thanks so much, I was hesitant to order knitwear in wool from Sézane because of my sensitive skin. So far I’ve ordered items in silk or cotton, but I’ll give Mia a try😊
@@FashionStyleEdit You're welcome, and yes, it is!! I hope they will bring it back sometime in the future. Come to think of it, I tried both Mia and Wilson after watching one of your old reviews. I got them after and enjoyed them so much, so thank you!
Lovely ideas - I now want to buy all the knits! 😂 Also I’m always on Vinted and you mentioned you are on there too, do you have a link for your page? 😊
In outfit 12 you're wearing Sezannes wide leg jeans and they look absolutely fab on you. Would you mind telling which size you're wearing and your hip circumference for size reference. They're sold out but who knows if the restock. I'm on a hunt for the perfect wide leg jeans. Many thanks for all great tips.
Just caught the Sami and Naelle in burgundy this morning. Took a size up in both as I don't want them too clingy. Fingers crossed I get them and they fit 🤞
Isn't it just:) And yet they manage to wear those very pretty items and make it look 'cool', I'm starting to believe it's just ingrained in their soul! x
You and I are similar in that if I find an item that I really like, I will buy it in more than one color. In fact, I just added two more colors of a fabulous cashmere sweater where I already own three. I love all the sweaters that you presented but I find that their sweaters are a bit itchy on my skin. I wonder why they don't sell a lot of cashmere styles. As always, I appreciate all your styling tips and inspiration.
Hi Jess, you really do know your stuff with Sezane 😃. I’ve always liked the Gaspard and Mia that you show. How are the sleeve lengths generally on Sezane knitwear? I’m sure it depends on the style but I have very long orangutan arms and struggle with anything with sleeves. I’d love to see more cotton based knitwear in all retailers actually, they seem to wears better in terms of aging. Have a lovely evening x
Love their knitwear, unfortunately being a severe asthmatic I’m very restricted what I can buy, Im allergic to mohair and alpaca, really limits my choices, such a shame as I love their designs! Cashmere cotton and merino is all I can cope with…you look fabulous in them all, I’m pea green with envy 🤣
Thank you Jess, you introduced me to Sezane, and I have bought so many pieces you have shown in your videos, that I love. l appreciate all your videos, and especially love your Sezane hauls. I am wondering how you wear the Mia cardigans and what size you buy….do you size down? I find true to size the bottom edge is so oversized, but the sleeve length is just right, and worry that if I went smaller to get rid of the bulk at the bottom of the cardigan, the sleeves would be too short. Thank you again for doing so much work, I love your style!
What a fabulous in depth review of their knitwear. So many beautiful pieces to choose from. As a side note, how do you find their returns policy? TIA 🙂
So happy to hear you enjoyed the video Maureen:) In my experience Sezane have always been great with returns and I do also go through the normal process not to a pr or anything. Sometimes they can be a little slow, but it's never a problem and you can choose if you'd prefer a credit or refund:)
Loved your Sézane haul have a question I bought the gaspard cardigan at the store in London and I usually am a small but they said to take the extra small which fits perfectly So would you say I would be the same In the other jumpers? Thanks ❤
I have a styling question for you, Jess. I love the Barry cardigan on you! I recently bought it for myself, and I’m struggling to wear it. I typically like to wear a shirt or tank top under my cardigans; however the V neck is so wide at the shoulders that any bra and tank top I throw on is visible (the straps are). The issue is further amplified by the fact I bought the Ecru (off-white) colour - and it’s a bit see through, so putting on the right colour underneath is also a challenge. Debating returning it. Any thoughts on how I can wear it? Thanks so much. Love all of your videos.
Thank you for a very helpful video. Sezane style their knitwear mostly tucked in to the waistband so can you tell me about the length as it is often hard to see? I like to hide my tummy area so I am keen to know where the Leontine sits when worn untucked.
Dear Jess, I am a little sad that you do not really appreciate the Capucine cardigan. For me it's the first knitwear piece to reach for when the temperatures are rising in spring. Mine is in navy and I wear it over white tank tops or white T-shirts or shirts. It has indeed a very wide cut which I would normally avoid, but got used to. The fact that it is made of pure cotton really is another positive aspect! I also have Gaspard jumpers and one Mia cardigan. I would like to know if you have your Mia cardigans all in the same usual size as I have sized down to XS compared to all of my other jumpers being a S. I really liked the Louisa jumper in rhe light blue on you and decided I should try it, too. Have you ever tried the Othello cardigan which has less fabric around the body? This was the first knitwear piece I bought this autumn in the blue colour. Last year I bought the lilac/blush colour version. Wishing you a lovely weekend, Gisi
Hi lovely, I went true to size with that one and It felt really oversized. So I would say size down once at least. They do recommend if you're between sizes but I'm not so I thought I'd be okay with the small but it does feel very slouchy. Hope that helps lovely x
Hi lovely, I do it by hand at home:) Correction actually, David does it by hand for me haha! The washing powder drives my eczema potty so he very kindly comes to the rescue:)
I wonder if light blue Louisa jumper runs big or true to size? I like the style of it and thickness which gives not too bulky look compared to Emelie, as an example.
Hi, can I kindly ask what stockings are you wearing on outfit 5. They match great with the skirt and your shoes. I got the skirt but it would seem as none of my stockings is a match against my leather pumps when combined with this midi. I am also shorter than you and I am trying to make it work. At 160cm only I don't want to be covered in leather from head to toe as the skirt is longer in me, which is why a good stocking matters in my case, I suppose. Kindly let me know what would you suggest a black more semi-transparent, a black matte or a nude color transparent stocking?! Any ideas? Thank you so much!
Hi Jess ! Last year you owed and showed the Emile cardigan in Mottled camel I remember because I bought it after I saw your video talking about it. And today, you’re saying it’s not for you because you prefer V neck?!? 😮 I find it a bit strange….
That's so nice to hear you found it helpful:) I actually wore my new pastel blue jumper into town the other day and didn't find it shed which is great. And the short amount of time I wore the basile I didn't notice that either. My new leopard print cardi does however a bit, but that's the only one I've really noticed doing it plus that might also be because im styling it so far mostly against black. Hope that helps but hear to answer any other questions if you need:)
I’m a bit obsessed with Sezane’s Betty Cardigans and Paula Babies (Mary Janes). I always want to buy more colors, but probably have too many of each already.
Haha I know that feeling with Sezane! I seem to have that problem with the babies (I now want the camel) and the christie's! They're one brand that knows exactly who they are, who their customer is, and what we want! x
I like Sezane’s cotton and/or wool knits, but the other fabrics are unbearably itchy, even though I wear silk undershirts under all my knits. I’m not sure if it’s the synthetic fiber component of those yarns like alpaca they use. I think I will resell them, I only wore them for an hour or two.
If you have very sensitive skin and can wear mohair, I don’t know what I have.😅 Mohair CANNOT touch my skin! And that’s a pity cause Sezane has such pretty cardigans in mohair! Though not too mad to stick with merino wool and cotton. ❤
Haha it's strange isn't it, I have no idea why! i have eczema fairly badly (mainly on my hands and legs) but for some reason their mohair doesn't irritate me? As anyone with eczema will know though there's a time limit on what we can and can't wear. Often I'm fine with something for years and then all of a sudden I can't wear it anymore! fingers crossed the reverse happens for you:)
You're so lucky the mohair doesn't bother you. I love the Barry & Gaspard but I find them to be insanely itchy and bothersome so I cannot wear them. :(
What about having a look at Vinted or similar for the pieces you like the most if they're not within budget. I often see Sezane items on there that look barely worn x
Totally without on the mock neck - it's just not comfortable for me! I'm also not keen on either mohair or alpaca in the mix, that fluffiness is just super annoying! So that rules out so many Sezane knits, their merino and cotton is fine though, as long as the style is right.
It is not the same cardigan in your review, I clicked on the link to the Angie cardigan, yours is a v neck, the one shown on Sezane website is a high necked one in ecru.

I love the black dress, as I'm a dark wearer.
Jess I'm always wondering how you make these 'flower knots'. When I want to make a knot it always looks silly 😅
Dear Jess,
I am a little sad that you do not really appreciate the Capucine cardigan.
Great recomendations Jess! So, let me get this straight, the basile cardigan runs big even if you size down?
Hi lovely, I went true to size with that one and It felt really oversized. So I would say size down once at least. They do recommend if you're between sizes but I'm not so I thought I'd be okay with the small but it does feel very slouchy. Hope that helps lovely x
Jess I have the Barry is Ecru, please can you advise how to wash it? I had a wee spill. Thank you 🙏
Hi lovely, I do it by hand at home:) Correction actually, David does it by hand for me haha! The washing powder drives my eczema potty so he very kindly comes to the rescue:)
@@FashionStyleEdit thank you 🙏
I wonder if light blue Louisa jumper runs big or true to size? I like the style of it and thickness which gives not too bulky look compared to Emelie, as an example.
Thankyou. Gosh I love that long black leather skirt- could you link that? Also could you link your vinted page? X
Isn't it gorgeous:) Everything linked in the description box lovely, happy Sunday Zena x
I find it a bit strange….
The overview is very helpful. Do the blue pastel jumper and the Basile shed, which you often get with wool/mohair?
That's so nice to hear you found it helpful:) I actually wore my new pastel blue jumper into town the other day and didn't find it shed which is great. And the short amount of time I wore the basile I didn't notice that either. My new leopard print cardi does however a bit, but that's the only one I've really noticed doing it plus that might also be because im styling it so far mostly against black. Hope that helps but hear to answer any other questions if you need:)
I clicked on the link to the Angie cardigan, it's not the same style as the one you reviewd here?
I’m a bit obsessed with Sezane’s Betty Cardigans and Paula Babies (Mary Janes). I always want to buy more colors, but probably have too many of each already.
Haha I know that feeling with Sezane! I seem to have that problem with the babies (I now want the camel) and the christie's! They're one brand that knows exactly who they are, who their customer is, and what we want! x
Could you give the name of the reddish cardi (13:50 in the video) with 2 side pockets?
That's really kind of you to write thank you so much:)
I never knew that jumper with buttons next the shoulder was named the Gary. Interesting!
It's a strange name for such a lovely jumper isn't it haha! *No offence to any 'Gary's' out there;)

I like Sezane’s cotton and/or wool knits, but the other fabrics are unbearably itchy, even though I wear silk undershirts under all my knits. I’m not sure if it’s the synthetic fiber component of those yarns like alpaca they use. I think I will resell them, I only wore them for an hour or two.
are the items heavily scented when arrived? Any shared experiences please?
They spray the tissue around the items before shipping with the Sezane perfume so that could be what you are smelling
What is your vented pile ??
I am dying from itch from Barry and Gaspard😢😢😢😢
👌💛🧡🫂
It’s the Wilson …..love it but can’t find it anymore
Yes shame it's not back in stock:/ Maybe on vinted or Vestiare, such a great shape:)
So lovely but just can’t afford these beautiful clothes! 😢
What about having a look at Vinted or similar for the pieces you like the most if they're not within budget. I often see Sezane items on there that look barely worn x
Enjoyed this week’s video very much ,really helpful. Can you share details your vinted account please.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Happy Sunday lovely:)
Totally without on the mock neck - it's just not comfortable for me! I'm also not keen on either mohair or alpaca in the mix, that fluffiness is just super annoying! So that rules out so many Sezane knits, their merino and cotton is fine though, as long as the style is right.

Thank you so much, glad you found my channel even if it was by accident:))
It is not the same cardigan in your review, I clicked on the link to the Angie cardigan, yours is a v neck, the one shown on Sezane website is a high necked one in ecru.
Aah sorry about that I must have made a mistake:/ I'll have a look for the exact link x
I agree ,yak is not for me
