This was exactly my problem and I am happy to say that I have almost fixed my alignment issues. Earlier my break used to breakdown after 4-5 colours due to this problem, hit the near jaw and end up selling. It still does, but to a lesser extent after almost fixing my alignment and sighting. Thanks for the video, cheers 👍
@@sj460162 bring the cue on line first, stick to that line, then place the feet and slowly bring down the head and vision center on that line ,over and over again. Make sure that when you get down, the butt of the cue doesn't go offline. It takes lots of practise and you still miss if involuntarily the butt of the cue goes offline right or left.
@@sj460162 I already mentioned how. I took a leaf out of Neil Robertson 's pre shot routine by the way and along with what I mentioned above , i.e pointing the cue on the line and bringing down the cue on that very same line next ,then moving the feet into position and finally bringing down my chest contact point and head/Chin and vision center on the cue . Please note -the cue shouldn't move offline when you place the feet 🐾 or the chest/chin/head. It takes lots of practise atleast for me, to make this muscle memory. Hope it helps you and you can fine tune this over time.

this is absolutely true, lastime when i was young i playing snooker without the research of the internet have existed yet,i didn’t realised my alightment got problem till now,and im blaming my luck, sometimes i smash hit hard my que on the snooker table when my cue ball when differently direction hitspot that i wanted, all because i was doing a betting game, that was really silly of me
Coach, this is one video of yours that i did not quite understand. I will run again n again to o follow coz alignment is a major problem for me. Your ardent follower Vish
I have been troubled with shooting consistently left. I tried all kinds of things to fix it for two years since I started - very frustrating. Just as I think I got it, it comes back, and I never really understood what was going on. The issue for me which I finally fixed, was that I was twisting my wrist inward and shooting central on the cueball but down on it and slightly towards the bottom left corner . This felt naturally straight, but I only realized it was happening when I started to pay close and careful attention to the path the cue took on s slow deliberate backstroke and follow through. All I did was try to reverse the error, and twist slightly outwards with my wrist and shoot cueball centre but upwards towards the upper right on the cueball. This is apparently a straight shot, and now feels natural. On a day when I start missing left, I can think like this and reverse the error to put in long shots pretty consistently and straight. BTW your videos are GREAT!
Hi I don't know if my question is related to the subject, but any way when I get down to the shout I feel a lot of tension on my shoulders.I would be very happy for an advice how to solve the problem. Thank you very much for your quick response.
when i get down my eyes tells me the object ball is going in and its lined up correctly but if someone look at me while im down they say i lined up incorrectly, which in reality its true but eyes tricks me How to fix this i aim to the left of pocket but my eyes tell me its straight and without me noticing i apply rightside to pot that ball (these all happen in address position) Tnx
The reason your eyes “tricks” you is that you apply unwanted side spin. It is all about what information about the shot you give to your brain. Play with spotted cue ball to get rid of the side spin. With good and consistent cueing your brain will “understand” what is straight so fix your cue action. Without seeing you this is as much as I can help. Soon there will be a video on this very important topic. Regards
@@SnookerCoachBrando i just tried watching my video i think i know what im doing When im standing my head is straight and when down my face is turned little bit to the right, how to fix this issue? I tried to bring my head very slowly to ensure head doesnt turn to right but i cant. i also tried lining up with my nose but still the same. i tried told hold my head with my hands to ensure head doesnt turn to the right but it still does. what and how do i fix this? Tnx alot
you are just showing the problem in this video rather than fixing i have either alignment problem or vision centre and head position problem ______ my cue is online but my brain tells me that its not correct. my right eye is the dominant eye but i normally cue centre chin . i have to tilt my head alot to the left while cueing centre chin and it really feels uncomfortable but thats only when i can see straight line, however if i put the cue under my dominant eye right eye, i still have have to tilt my head to the left but its not as much but still feels uncomfortable. so without tilting my head i cannot see a straight line straight when down. how do i fix this ???? tnx alot now if i ask you for a solution you would say, its hard to answer without seeing you, you gotta answer youtube questions sometimes to get students, always answering like" its hard to tell without seeing you " wont increase your subscribers too good luck with coaching tnx anyway
Brado can you assist me in Getting you to be my Coach as we are kinder deprived such an opportunity because of financial constraints here in 🇿🇦 but I promise you if I have being granted such an opportunity it won't just be for nothing, I promise.

Thank you, sir for another very informative video. Correct alignment on pots is something that can only be developed with continued practice time.😀
