Always thought that you play a kick and stick safety with top spin, to slow it down after contact.

As a beginner, I knew I can't win by break building against intermediate players, so safety play was a must to learn. There is a lot of beauty in it.

I am a beginner and I did play a mini game I quasi invented with this last red setup. Play a snooker safety on the red, you get a point for a snooker without touching any colors. Race to 5 points.

4:25 OMG this is how I am ending my shots. I knew there is something wrong. Maybe my arms are too long for my cue, my bridge hand too long. Playing with a screwed butt makes cueing a bit straighter, though.

make detailed version of the same video in relation to hip turning and how the hip turn or over turn too much will put off balance, which will also reduce the aim and accuracy and cue alignment. my cue but is always offline to left side, and i feel that i over turn my hip tnx

hi i have problem with my hip weight! i turn my hip alot and i feel like my weight is going abit to right side, i am right eye dominant, and right handed. should the right leg be straight and i sit on right hip? when i turn my hip, i feel like i am not sitting on right hip and my weight is abit to the right. but if i dont turn the hip, i feel like i am sitting abit on right hip. to be honest i think i turn too much my hip but not sure if its true. this is very important for me as my cue butt always goes offline to the left, and i feel like my weight is abit to the right this hip and body weight is messing with my alignment and aiming what is the best method? thank you please reply

Hi As i walk in to the shot, the cue tip goes past the cueball top and as i am about to get down i pull the cue back to bring the cue tip behind the cue ball center. and this is causing alignment problem because the cue butt goes towards left. when i try to put the cue tip behind the cueball and get down, i have no alignment problem. that is how i figured out this is cuasing the alignment problem so basically i put my right foot on line of aim as i walk in, i put the left leg at the same time synced with the cue arm goes online of aim with the cue, but the cue shaft is about 2 inches beyond the white, so as i am getting down i pull the cue back to bring it behind the cueball, so once i am fully down. the cue tip is behind the cue ball. i asked many and they said, only shaun murphy does it like this. what is the correct what ? do other players do that ? can this problem cause the alignment problem or i am in the wrong direction

i sussed this out myself and only been playing a few years !! i also learned you have to adjust for top spin and screw shots slightly or you will miss the same angle thick or thin depending on where you strike the cue ball i’m still getting used to it and it gets confusing

You were correct when u said about right handed Player doing that common Mistake a lot, well because i am a right handed Player myself.. But again thanks for this I will practice my lining and my Walking steps too and be very careful to not going out of the line a lot while making my aiming.. Thanks Sir!

That’s the best explanation ever. All these time I was doing that wrong. Some told me to Get side on where it rotated your whole body. I was blaming my aiming, my grip, my bride and my eyes. Thank you coach Brando.
