@@BretNewtonComposer It isn‘t recorded yet? But Richard Bobo, and I think you too, can play the contrabassoon… do you want different people for every part, that the sound is more ,realistic‘?
Also at around 8:19 one of the lower parts plays a G natural instead of a G flat. Maybe something that can be corrected with a bit of audio processing?
@@BretNewtonComposerthe melody plays a concert Gb4. At the same time, a bassoon is playing a concert G2. It sounds very strange. I think this has potential to sound quite good after loads of work
@@BretNewtonComposerit's definitely a bassoon, and it's definitely in there. Maybe solo the bassoons and you'll hear a G natural being played? It's faint but it still sticks out to me
@@BretNewtonComposer.... I didn't mean to sound rude, sorry! I'm sure this will sound great once you've got a whole load more parts and the balance is tweaked in a lot of places
Great piece! It is the part with the subcontrabassoon excerpt! ☺️
It is indeed. It still needs the contrabassoon to match the subcontra's octave.

@@rhythmharmony2923 someone else is doing Contrabassoon and they just haven't recorded that track yet
@@BretNewtonComposer Ah, okay! :)

I've listened to that section a dozen times and I don't hear it.

@@somebody9033 It's correct as is. The clash you hear is intentional.
The Synthesised version sounds nicer.
This will sound better with all the parts.
If you can't say something nice...
