If it's sooo important, where was ffp 20,30 + years ago? Every club should be able to risk whatever they want to spend and try to put the best product they can buy out on the field to compete. Some will win and some will lose and life goes on. Everybody and their dog are now financial and legal experts... circus it is

Plus they agreed the deal at the start as they needed the clubs the breakaway but we've seen the desperation from those clubs to try and get more money and power (see project Big Picture and also them joining the Super League). It's pure greed, driven by those clubs and now the chickens have come home to roost.

Football has historic rivalries but this show really does prove that the game rises above rivalries. Big players (except carra as i am a united fan 😅) from big rivals but they prove that they're football people above everything else and really care about the game. Entertaining and informative.
I think the lads missed a point here... Why is Everton forced to put stadium costs through the P&S claculations, the previous season they didnt but then the PL changed the rules in the Dec in mid season. You cant just change rules unless you are trying to `get someone`...

Football has historic rivalries but this show really does prove that the game rises above rivalries. Big players (except carra as i am a united fan 😅) from big rivals but they prove that they're football people above everything else and really care about the game. Entertaining and informative.

I think the lads missed a point here... Why is Everton forced to put stadium costs through the P&S claculations, the previous season they didnt but then the PL changed the rules in the Dec in mid season.
You cant just change rules unless you are trying to `get someone`...
As an `expert` Ormstein missed out 95% of the details behind the charge, very generalised. Perhaps the audience would understand the frustration if the full facts were forthcoming.

Everton were gonna be beating United at Goodison without any of the noise over the deduction just based on their form and how ropey and vulnerable United are currently. Add in the furore over this and a bear pit Goodison and Ian Wright is spot on, it could be 2-0, 3-0 home win.
