What do you do with all that dead space on the right? Seems like a lot of empty space for a large screen, can you fill it up to fully occupy Apple CarPlay?
I did the exactly same when I rented it in Oahu island and it didn't work :( I had tried it for few days but nothing worked. I even connect it with usb-c and didn't work either. I could only hear the sound. it worked really well with the same phone and a wire in jeep compass.

This is not helpful at all for Bluetooth. Shit does not work. “Plug in the phone and say yes” is not good enough.
