FAA To Investigate Claims Boeing 787 Employees Falsified Inspection Records

- The Federal Aviation Administration has opened a new investigation into Boeing following the discovery of falsified inspection records. It’s becoming a challenge to succinctly summarize all the negative Boeing news that has emerged over the past few months, but as many already know, the company’s production processes came under the spotlight when a door plug blew out of an Alaska Airlines 737 MAX 9 on January 5th, 2024. Since then, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has limited Boeing's production rate and sent representatives to oversee manufacturing processes. Additionally, Boeing has paid out hundreds of millions of dollars to airlines for their losses after the groundings of the MAX 9s.

anyone that willingly approved work that was not done to spec needs to be fired
Not only fired, should be criminally tried...
The management did not even know or had no idea?
I bet the call for falsifying was from the higher ups of the plant. One "good call" doesn't not mean change
Why haven't any of the corporate demons gone to jail?
Very good question
because modern world you get away with corporate wrongdoings
@@nickolliver3021 more precisely because Boeing is in bed with US government for selling weapons and false planes around the world
FAA protecting them
Probably because of all the Military Contracts they have. The US Government is too heavily invested in them.
Boeing is the most unethical aircraft manufacturer to ever be in business. 🤦♂️
Unethical? I would say the industry is!
Or so they want you to believe.
@@CaliSteve169 Perhaps not the most unethical manufacturer, but certainly negligible even before the 2010s.
@@randomscb-40charger78 can't you figure out that you are being conditioned to give up on air travel? Under the guise of safety.
@@CaliSteve169 That's what the illuminati want you to believe. 🤣🤣
Self reporting to avoid getting caught, nice👍🏾
I think so,too.Nice.
glad you're feeling better man
Welcome back Matthew
Thanks for bringing back the British English narration.
more interesting is what made them do it ?
pressure from management ?
Obviously
Agenda to end commercial air travel.
Before being caught anyways, make it public yourself.
@caliSteve - Airbus, Bombardier, Embraer or Gulfstream are happily flying around. Obviously, it's the penguins for Boeing.
Thanks for keeping us up to date!
Too Big to fail... Boy, they're really challenging that theory now. Like, sheesh.
SimpleFlying, glad you're better after your time away ill.
Boeing is the Titanic of plane manufacturers.
Boeing's lack of ethics and sole focus on short-term profits has destroyed the company's decent previous reputation for safety and professionalism. Their downfall started soon after the merger with MD and appointment of financial engineers instead of Aerospace engineers to the C-suite.
Exactly
Irregularities accouting-ese for criminality.
Finding issues like this Sounds like good quality control
Why they have to be caught before concentrating on safety?
corporate upper management should be fired without compensation
Higher ups: "Look good enuf"
Well who’s going to come forward now?
boeing needs to inspect each and evry plane to prevent all these kinda catastrophic failures….
thats "mcdonalds"-douglas for you.
I didn’t think it’d get this bad but, yeah, wow, it’s no bottom visible.
The wing-to-body join? Cripes!
lol if it’s a new Boeing I ain’t going to
then dont even fly its that simple
@@nickolliver3021ridiculous response.
Neither the dreamliner, not the 737 Max are new planes.
@@rtbrtb_dutchy4183 not really. Planes are unsafe if you haven't seen what's happening
He’s back.
Who is back?
@@Aviation_of_Houstonthe pleasant British voice of Simple Flying. 😊
@@Aviation_of_Houston Regular voiceover Matthew Dalton
@@Aviation_of_Houstonthe main narrator of the channel
So that’s his name is it, always wondered
Will SimpleFlying soon need protection? All the information they come with make them suicidal
Watch the documentary "Boeing 787 Broken Dreams" and be horrified.
Yep it is old now
FAA and Boeing are the same thing!
Good, they are Inspecting 787 Dreamliners in Production to make sure they're safe to fly and Deliverd to Airlines
What about those that are in service now? 😊
I won't expect much from them
What is the gain to falsify? isn't it to cover the true aim of tarnishing Boeing track record to affect marketing?
Yeah employees falsified inspection records after Boeing's higher ups threatened them to do it.
This is only the beginning, if Boeing turns honest, then there will be more to come.
The NTSB should be involved considering the FAA is doing absolutely nothing
Will they do anything?
@@jameskilrain9350 thats fair ig
I don’t understand these people don’t that fly themselves or have friends and family members that fly? Why do they continue to do the wrong thing. The two 737 Max that killed 346 people was murder full 🛑
After all these scandals no one can touch boeing. That's the problem of duopoly.
Boeing, not surprised
should of left McDonnell Douglas merge with like Lockheed or something instead of Old boeing (pre 97)
They have been told to Pencil Whip all that paperwork if you like your job
*If it aint Boeing, it ain't bad news.*
Jesus Christ - they need to be shut down
It's good to hear the familiar narrative voice again. The one used lately seemed artificial.
Meh, that’s no big deal, happens all the time at most places
Boeing the american nightmare
There is nothing good about this company.
Whaaaaat, blame the staff, did boeing ever watch the al jazeera documentary on this where the manager refused to address thesé issues ¿¿¿
its called "The Boeing 787: Broken Dreams l Al Jazeera Investigations"
Watch at 42:22, Where Larry Loftis walks out of questioning smh
This is just the beginning... It's to get worse and Boeing corporate along with floor management needs to be jailed... So unacceptable
What's the benefits of falsifying?
Selling false planes
Convincing the public to give up on commercial air travel.
To get the planes out faster, limit delays. Then once the airlines get them they can fix them later. Kind of what the car companies do when they sell cars knowing certain issues exist but it's cheaper to fix them and recall them later than delay builds and bringing them market to avoid losing customers to the competition.
@@andidede3653why not Airbus boost their own production so they can deliver more?
Great idea! Just fake the records and everything wil be great!

Classic Boeing Lied, People Died 😡
It continues
They haven’t done that since the 737 max fiasco
@mohwybar5832 actually they are still doing it
Wel wel wel
Another self inflicted situation,Boeing reputation and quality compromises safety.where does all the millions in compensation come from?Probably Uncle Sam!
Now I understand why the Russians didn’t bother so much about sanction 😂😂😂
Oh shi-
There's absolutely nothing wrong with the boeing 787
How do u know that? Boeing has problems all over the place nowadays

This is ridiculous!!
What's ridiculous is that people can't figure out that that they are being conditioned to give up on air travel.
