- In this video, I take you on a journey through the briefly process of building my own DIY in-ear monitor (IEM) with 3 ways and 6 balanced armature drivers.
I'm not an expert, but I'm passionate about audio and DIY. I hope this video will inspire others to try their hand at building their own IEMs.

Excellent video brother, do you think you could indicate how you calculate the values for the crossover please!!!?
Hi, I printed your two way and I absolutely love it! Is there a chance I could somehow get the right side also. I want to use it to make my own custom iem's. Great Videos you inspired me to make my own.
he mirrors the 3D object in his videos to get both sides
Hey man, awesome video! I was just wondering what type of capacitors you’re using for the crossover. I’m looking to get jnto the hobby myself, got drivers and everything. The only thing that’s been a mystery is the type of capacitors you guys use. Are tantalum capacitors the way to go? Looking forward to more diem vids from you.
Tantalum capacitors are preferred
Is the capacitor necessary? because ? . thanks for your video
Now where can I strart to learn about electronic parts to the point where I can build DIY IEMS? I'd be interested in doing this for fun but unsure where to start.
Start with how capacitors and resistors work. It's basic and very easy to understand
After that, learn about RC circuit (filter).
Sorry if this is a dumb question but... theres 3 tubes per iem but only 2 holes in the nozzle. How are 2 of the tubes attached? Edit: oh ha, nevermind, the third hole is just an oblong shape to save space. Clever
There are total 4 holes in the nuzzle. The bass one is slightly smaller and transparent so it's hard to see in camera. Another hole is the air vent 0.3mm.
@kozh4013 oh I see. Does putting the air vent on the nozzle mitigate the loss in isolation you get from venting? Also, is the nozzle oval shaped?
I used very small 0.3 mm tube so no sub-bass loss and no issue with isolation too
Where did you buy the drivers from ??
On Taobao
@@kozh4013 Thanks
Hello here from Germany to you, Could you please make one of those for me. Of course i will pay for it. My Beste regards , Monic G.
I'm glad you're interested in my IEM projects, and I'm sorry for the late replay. I've been experimenting with some other projects that have more correct tuning and are much better than the ones in those videos. I can't make them for you now due to a lack of tools and being busy dealing with life problems
@@kozh4013 I hope your life problems get solved soon and you get more time for your passion.
what beste iem ear phone for this genre
Contry/rock: meily Cyrus. jolen Folk/rock: Heart beat slow
Rock : stevie ni
edge of seventeen.
(maria daines: i'm on to you)
guns roses: don't cry
with female vocal
Under 900$
I don't listen to many genres myself and haven't tried expensive IEMs. I used to own some moondrop IEMs such as Variations but they're definitely not for female vocals. I recommend you check IEMs reviewers to see what they say.
