E46 M3 Solid Diff & Subframe Bushings

Cabin sound with solid CMP Differential and subframe bushings.

Seems like solid diff and solid subframe is too much. I’m opting for solid subframe and poly bushings

Solid subframe introduces no NVH. The whine you’re hearing is all coming from solid diff bushings. Poly diff bushings, you’ll still hear some whine. OE diff bushings, no whine.

Mine does has the same noise with polyurethane upgrade and reinforcement

You will hear a much quieter diff scream with poly.

Not sure if you're still looking for an answer, but usually your subframe can or will become more prone to cracking since the mounts are solid and no longer have any give to them on hard bumps. As far as daily driving goes, I think this would be your main concern.

Not quite, if there is too much flexing it can cause cracks. These bushings will help hold the subframe in better and not flex as much. Even replacing rubber OEM ones with new OEM rubber ones will still help. but long term get poly.​@@user-mv9ec5cq3y

@@0megalul309 it’s not bad at all, I took my rear seats / trunk carpeting out so it’s loud as shit but with seats and carpeting in it’s just as smooth as stock
