    One of the best videos on this. And no words needed. I especially like that detail where you failed once, and put more pulp in. That's great editing. Would be nice to support you, but I got no money myself, 😥

    This is possible without the mold and deckle too, just put the pulp between two pieces of cloth and use a rolling pin it flatten it and let it dry. the pulp shoudnt be to liquid like this one though!

    Yes, use a blender to get a more fine and uniform mixture of pulp.
    Many years ago I used a hair-dryer to dry the paper, it works super great!
    But in order to get really high quality smooth paper I think you have to dry it under some kind of weight like an iron.

    In her earlier video she has made paper in a small round shaped strainer which is available in every home. I liked that idea. No need to buy even a single thing

    I might use a broken window screen for my mold and deckle.

    Question: why do you not place them in the sunlight to completely dry before trying to remove the paper from the mesh screen?

    Blenders are easy to find at yard sales and thrift stores. A sponge is a lot better than a paper towel and is reusable.

    so, how did you make paper? Paper made from paper.. isnt exactly making paper, bit rather how to use paper scraps. misleading title, probably a good video.

    • @EmilyChandler-n9y
      @EmilyChandler-n9y 9 місяців тому +2

      Unless you have a tree and professional equipment no one is going to be making DIY for making paper from scratch, this is for you to recycle paper rather than waste bits and buy more

    • @Goldenhawk583
      @Goldenhawk583 9 місяців тому

      @@EmilyChandler-n9y Then the title should say as much.
      I have seen other videos making paper from sawdust ( you dont need a tree.. you need sawdust)., grass and leaves, even dung. None of those had a misleading title.
      So you are wrong, several people has made videoes about that... When there is no paperscraps to find.. then its useless if that is the only way you found valid to inform people about. I am glad others disagreed with your stand on this, goodbye, be well:)
