- So recently I put a poll up asking what you guys wanted from the channel & most of you guys asked for different money methods & builds from the normal
So today I bring you one of my hidden gems from the garage my 700pp, Tyre life & fuel saving monster Mazda LM55 VGT. Gran Turismo 7 features many well known money methods however I've decided to showcase some of the lesser known & crazier builds within the game

Just did a race with the Group 1 version using most of these settings and it worked for me. I used the same tires, suspension, differential, and aero settings. These are the ones I changed:
ECU to 97%
Ballast 190 with -50 position
Power restrictor to 70
No transmission settings to change so nothing needed there
Run fuel mix 6 with early upshifting (when you start seeing the red bar). Race time on my test was 25:44 with a fastest lap of 1:41.726. Closest AI was the RX-VISION 1:31 behind

Now I want to see a Gr.1 version of this tune.
The GR1 tune is exactly the same, but you don’t have to restrict the power as much. It’s overall slower than this build.
Just did the race with the Gr.1 version of the lm55 its super easy
Absolutely love this car, it's decent on fuel and a leisurely, and forgiving drive to grind with
I did it today with fuel 6 and never pitstopped had a 55 second lead to the 2nd by the end of race.
I would recommend the R92CP on sardegna and it is very fast and on fuel map 1 can get you to 8 and 9th lap I would recommend the 1 and 2 fuel map for a fast time and the fastest lap I have ever done is 1:36.481 with a overall time at 25:05.135 and the funniest thing is the next race I did was the best time overall time I have gotten at 24:58.918 .

What about a 700 PP tune for Le Mans
Thanks for the Build naffantait. Since i did not own the normal VGT i did a few tests on the Gr.1 version.
First was the Tune like it was described by DarkFlame0610 but shifting between Gear indicator and gear recommendation only after lap 12 i needed to change to shifting in the middle and up to gear 7 right after finish line. Did a 25:38,547 with best lap being a 1:40,981 (Had a car to draft on both long straights)
Next was like your build but 200 weight ECU to 75% the Manual gearbox where you can only set max speed and set it to 330Km/h and the medium RPM turbo. Gear shifting again between Gear indicator and gear recommendation. Only had to shift in the middle on the last lap (but a better driver or a little bit more coasting might fix that and one could drive the same all race) Did a 25:35:241 with best lap being 1:40,893 (1 car on long straight to draft from).
And lastly i tried the same as in my 2nd test but with the Suspension and differential being a setup from Praiano on the Gtplanet forum for a 950pp version. Shifting was the same as in my 2nd test only this time i could drive all race the same way. (Might just be that it fit my driving style better) did a 25:32:114 with best lap being 1:40,742 (1 car on the shorter straight to draft from)
[Only thought of the Turbo because i had his 950pp tune from when i startet GT7]
All my testing was done on Controller with manual shifting.
And lastly thank you for all the Sardegna builds they really make the money grind easier and more fun!
This is a great car to run Spa with because you're racing an hour no matter what and fast laps doesn't matter. It also handles fairly well if you get caught in a rain storm on RH tires. Of course, like you said the 787B is king for Sardegna.
But Suzuki escudo run faster than 787b
I like using this car, but my go-to on this track is the Mazda 787B - Great times and handling.
The R92CP is the next best

I use the red bull car on this track with a highly nerfed 797pp as soon as race starts I put fuel map 6, tsc 5, leave it in gear 7 the whole race, make 0 pit stops and 26 min race
I grind at Spa in the 1hr race , the 787B of course , no fuel stops needed , maybe 1 stop for wets if it rains , almost guaranteed £1.5M every time.
A 800pp build for 2009 ZR1 corvette RM would be cool to see and a nice throwback to gt5 and gt6 and maybe a grand touring 700pp Camaro since the Camaro LM isn’t in game
I prefer the toyota tso30, it need tyres but its slightly quicker.
Still not as good as the 787b
Amazing drive. Absolute lazyness and with short shifting the fuel is perfect no need for coasting and lifting. Kudos
Thanks for this wonderful car at 800PP💫 Why do the front tires wear so much faster than the rear? Always wondered what to change the setting for when it happens 😎 Nice that you put up different cars to gate even though it's the same tracks. There must be some resistance. Not just drive a Tomahawk at 450km/h and close your eyes at the same time😂😂🎮☮
Just tried this and it did t work I come 4th coasted most of the track for 5 laps was 1st on lap 13 then ran out of fuel on lap 14 😭
How do you use liverys. I have seen a lot of good ones over the years and I would love to copy to some of my cars. Can it be done. IE copy and paste. Many thanks.

Is there any reason you chose this over the Gr.1 version?
I’ve done something similar, a little bit different with my tune but it’s a good car to drive if you’re bored of driving all the other money grinders lol

I'm trying to adjust the transmission gears but it won't let me
I still with the 30 min race, is 880k
Finally this car is not a waste of credits and I can use it now

This one's good, but if you don't mind one pit, the Lexus RC F GT500 setup for 800 (I just added RH tires and about 50lbs of ballast then just restricted power and output evenly until I got to just below 800) is super easy and handles like it's on rails. I do one pit at lap 9 and change tires and refuel and I'm always easily well ahead by the end, and I'm on controller and not that good. Pulls consistent 1:41-1:43 lap times.
@Joe ok. Yea I don't have that car. I'm currently grinding sardegna with the 787B no pit build. Getting the race done in 25 minutes each time.
@@gkey06 that's fine, moreso commenting for others though. Not everyone has the 787B and this video was trying to give a cheaper alternative that's always available, so I was giving another even cheaper alternative (850k vs 1M).
I used the 787B for my first probably 10 goes at this race but wanted to try something different after a while to break it up and that's when I started using the Lexus.

@@joshreid670 I wanted to see if I could do it with something closer to the AI cars rather than obliterate them with LM spec cars. Now that I've gotten consistent with the Lexus I might try one of the regular GT3 cars and see if I can still keep up

Could you revisit the Merc C9 build from update 1.24 and see if it still holds in 1.27

Just tried this build. Very nice, my times were a bit off from what I usually do, but still took 1st with a decent enough lead. Had to get use to the different shifting patterns which are very different from the 787B. The 787B I run about a low 25 min
Was your time slower with this car than than the 787B?
@gkey06 Yes, by over a minute. I attribute much of that to me not knowing the shifting patterns around turns though. For instance, with the 787B I would typically be in 2nd gear and sometimes 1st or 3rd depending on the circumstances. With the LM I found that I couldn't be much lower than 4th around curbs I would be in 2nd in with the 787B. Took me awhile to get used to the car, but it was enjoyable and it really held the road.
@gkey06 @freeclimb if you guys like the 787b you might like the R92CP it's quite fuel efficient in 1st map can get you to 8th and then 9th but preferably pit on 8th saves time
The fastest lap time I have gotten in is 1:35.931 and the fastest overall time is 24:58.918
@joshreid670 Damn, beats me, my fastest is 1:36.092 and haven't broke the 25 min. barrier... yet.
