In order to make your pans lightweight the cast iron is made thin at 1.5mm. But most cast iron is a brittle metal. I've seen thin cast iron pans and woks crack. Are your pans strengthened in any way to prevent that?

The material has a number of advantages over traditional cast irons like gray and ductile irons but it is known to be resistant vs. both thermal and mechanical stresses; therefore, also used in cylinder heads and exhaust manifolds for cars.
