Dairyland just quoted me 48 a month with literally every kind of coverage you can think of, its actually incredibly cheap to insure when compared to supersports bikes
When I bought my S1000RR Race edition I didn't think insurance would be more than my last bike. Quotes came back as $4,000-$4,500 a year! ($AUD)
While a regular S1K was $1,200 a year so I've insured it as a regular. I got the bike for the price of a regular model anyway so not too fussed.

@@desertrainfrog1691 Depends on the car, it's value, age, and the type of insurance you want. For full insurance for my ute (2019 Holden Colorado LTZ) it's around $900 a year. Car was about $50k new.
My 2013 fjr1300 is 20 bucks a month full coverage while my 23 z400 is 26 a month. I doubt that the ZH2 is too bad

this video and the video from the other day about not overthinking your first bike have inspired me to take a trip to the kawasaki dealership after work. debt doesn't really exist if you ignore it and the repo dudes literally can't catch you.

I had a 1975 H2 C and loved it .put velocity stacks and rejeted the carbs it roared and wheelie in first and second so easy.
The fact the H2R exists still fills me with childish glee.
I do love that ZH2. I do wish they'd do a naked with a super charger, and a smaller motor. Seems counter productive, i know. But i honestly believe most want that bike BECAUSE it has a super charger, and fun noises.
Same with the V4 engines, both the ducati and aprilia have way to much power to really wind out trough the revs on normal roads.

I have a first gen fz10. Probably the best motorcycle ive ever had. Power delivery is insane enough for me and hes right cornering feels so good on the bike

On my Mach III H1 we stripped it and gusseted the frame and swingarm / mount. It handled better. Better front disk brake. Did almost the same thing on my Mach IV H2 but it still was a handful above 6,000 rpm.

Love this bike.
I owned an H1 500 new in 1972. It was the fastest bike made until the H2 750 came along. Because of the H1's seemingly-anemic 500cc and terrible sound (bucket full of marbles), I was able to take some money from those with Honda CB750, Norton and Harleys, who all believed they were fast. Both the H1 and H2 handled and braked terribly, but that was pretty common for the day. They earned their "widow maker" pet name.
BTW, the Z1 900 came out before the 750, not after.

"Thanks to that low compression ratio this things kind of a tank".... I know a guy who let his friend ride his (he says) ZH2 and wrecked it, he "allegedly" drained the motor of oil and redlined it till it failed because it was still under warranty. He said it took 4 hours till failure.
Actually, If I'm not mistaken Kawasaki introduced the 500 in 1968. It had a white tank.

At 4:47 the clip shows an inline 4cyl 750 Kaw. Noob says 55hp but I believe the 750cc parallel TWIN cylinder made 55hp. Kaws inline 750 4 was in the low 70s for hp.
How many miles per full tank of fuel. Not interested in mpg but total mileage on different riding styles. My gsxs1000F does average of 150+ miles on a full tank, and I ride quite fast on my roads to work.

Lost a bud on a 70s Kawi 750 triple 2 stroke. I bought a 71 RD 350, in 73, my first vehicle the day I got my license. Still have it. How I lived , I'll never know. Got an 06 R1 now. Never learn.
I came up on the original H2. 175mph on Bias ply tires and drum brakes.

I met a young adult a few months ago , bought a H2 as his first bike . I guess he’s used to fast cars and stuff but obviously a bikes different. Anywho unfortunately he ended up passing away in an accident involving this H2 . May he RIP , guys stay safe out there and ride within your limits ✊🏼

I been looking at this bike and finally got to ride it today. HOLY SHIT I fell in love and became a giggly little schol girl.
Only bikes I have rode ar 2019 suzuki gsxs 750 and wife's kawasaki vulcan s. We started riding last year and put about 18,000km on our bike since. Let's just say that felt like one crazy ride. 🤪

I am older and my friends dad had a 500H1 in his garage. As dumb teens we took it out while he was at work. Back then, this was the scariest bike I ever rode. When it hit the two stroke powerband hang the f on!!!!
Road an original H2 and a modified Z1 and lived to tell about it. The H2R could be a little much but ZH2, just right.
H2R is track only bike with limited production.

There is a lot of confusion between modern h2 and h2r.
Back in 2015 kawasaki released the h2r which is 310hp track only bike and it's road going model just h2 with 200hp.
Both h2 and h2r are basically the same bikes but h2r doesn't have mirrors and lights and have race trim from the factory.
You can make the regular 2015 plus h2 just as powerful as h2r and it'll be street legal.
@@Fearless154 Cranking up a H2 to R spec is probably not necessary. Found that out with my earlier bikes. The Z1 had a 1015 kit, welded crank and so but was quite terrifying to ride. With the ZH2 you have a good foundation for all that power.
