I just recently started watching a handful of your videos and impressed with your knowledge and the troubleshooting. I have a question on a hailong 52v 19.2 ah battery that is probably a few years old now. The problem I'm having is the power button when you press it in there appears to be only some of the green lighting up and the plugin that needed to be replaced. Diy with no knowledge thought I could do it and had several unexpected surprises upon opening up the battery. 1- there is a pin that is not connected to anything and it's a two pin connector. While looking around I noticed that the wire that has three white wires and a red wire connecting to a connector appears to be lacking a ground and the only reason I say that is because when I looked at the power plug I see one thin flat connector not connected to anyting this is right beside where the white and the red wires are connecting to the power plug. What does that plug up to and I'm wondering if it's a ground😊 but I cannot find schematics or any information on this plug and the wiring surrounding it. I will attach a couple pictures to help make more sense. I need a wiring configuration for this power plug and the other internal wires that's right there at the front of the battery case. See attached pictures

This person posted one time and does not give a crap about following up on anything. Sounds like a wanna be. Look elsewhere for your answers, you are not getting them here.

Hi. Firstly, congratulations on your content on youtube, very original and useful. Second, Could you make videos about connector and bracket(holders) variations? I would love to, as I'm thinking about buying another one to use on my bike, but I don't know what kind of adaptations I would need to check for a safe fit, like voltage for example.
    Thank you!

Seeing heat damage always makes me question the owner, did they actually keep under the CONTINUOUS power rating? Or did they think the battery would be fine if they ran at peak power rating all the time. Too often people just ride their diy ebikes like mopeds.

I'll try my best to explain this so it makes sense the push button for the power has four pins plugged into another connector with the three white wires and one red wire. And that connector when it plugs into the connector of the plug-in that we're referring to the 4-pin there is a unconnected 10 on the base of the power plug

What about specialised Levo batteries did you manage to repair them ?

That style of connector is trash. It's no wonder it failed.
The 4-prong connector (your old one) is vastly superior on a multitude of levels.
