For me his best version was in KOF 98, but I really like the KOF 15 version of him. Pimpin out with that white overcoat while he beats the shit out of you.
I have never seen so much variation before for just one super, and each version just gets more and more brutal and over the top. What a great character.
I don't know why but I prefer Yamazaki's voice in Real Bout Fatal Fury. He sounds insane (as always) but there are moments where he actually sounds sane, more like a troll than a crazy madman. Or maybe is just me 😅
KOF XV > Everything else. With each new game, Yamazaki sounds less and less and even less hinged and sane. Older games just make him sound insecure and too tragic until RBFFS fixed that to make him sound crazy.

Trivia: Oro is Capcom's answer to Yamazaki. Yamazaki only uses one hand (mostly). But Oro has that lame excuse he's too powerful when using both hands. In SFV, the excuse is to hold a turtle. But he's not as cool as Yamazaki.
Pretty cool they made a fighting game character based on the japanese thug archetype. He really does seem like someone who goes looking for victims. Terrifying.
Personally, I think the impact of the climax of KOF 14 looks better, but I think the impact of KOF 15 is a bit of a pain to the eyes. Ah, but I think the climax of KOF 15 is better than KOF 14.
