That was excellent. I like how you got straight into it , didn’t waffle on and most refreshing that you didn’t ask to like and subscribe because when they say that I switch off
Amazing video. Thank you very much for taking the time to make and share this video. You just saved many of us a few bucks, and taught us all a lesson in self-reliance.
I appreciate you doing this. The 4' bender at Johnny's is up to $59 and it's out of stock. I can round uo enough screws and scrap to use your idea. Thanks!
4 really big nails or extra pieces of 5/16th rebar. It's not so much that it's staked "DOWN" as if it would fly away. But rather that it won't move from side to side. Stake all 4 corners. Depending upon your soil hardness, grass, gravel, whatever you may need longer stakes for looser soil. IF that's the case, look at cement form anchors but then you would need a sledge hammer to get them in the ground. The important thing is that they must end up being flush with the plywood or they'll be in the way of getting the pipe to bend around the jig. Myself, I'd rather not work on the ground and I'd raise the whole thing up to workbench height. The heavier the workbench, the less need for anchoring it.
hi, i really suck in geometry. so if i will be bending a pipe 20ft long and wanted the hoop diameter to be 12ft. 1. what should be the length of the board of bender( on your bender, you used 36 inch) 2. how long should i measure on both ends of the pipe before bending thank you so much.
Dude, how many times did you step on those nails with your bare feet? At 2:26 you step back and missed the center nail by two inches. Would have made the video epic if it went through your foot and you finished the video. Props on your engineering skills though. You're a consummate DIY'er with a caveman approach to safety. Who needs shoes anyway?

The conduit bender from Johnny’s seeds is 115 bucks! THIS VIDEO IS A WALLET SAVER THANK YOU
Nice... It's four and a half years later now and things cost more but the job is still the same... thanks. Good job.

ooh, you got so close to stepping on that screw, ouch!! Good instructions.
Awesome demo! I was poised to buy a hoop bender but now I will try it your way. Thanks!
Awesome video! This is exactly what I am bending EMT for, except our garden bed is 4 feet wide. Thank you so much,

It's $91 now (Aug 2022). I just discovered it last week.
Updated price is $99 as of March 2024.

This is just amazing and so easy thank you so much!
Thank you
*GOOD JOB!*
Excellent Chris. I love onions every which way. I’ve never tried the ones you were talking about. What do they taste like
I love this idea, but I will wear heavy boots on my feet. I just priced the same conduit at Menard's $19.98, 17.98 with rebate.
Brilliant.
This is such a great idea! Could you explain how you staked it into the ground? That part is a little difficult to see.

I want to use 20' conduits, to make a walk-in hoop greenhouse. How do I make that template? thank you!! Marie

At the price of conduit today, it's cheaper and easier to buy onions at the store when you need them.
Just seen this wow dude you are a genius 👏
