I have a 17 hl myself, bought with a similar snorkel setup.. have you had any issue with the engine sorta stalling out after 3/4 to full throttle then to idle... engine doesn't physically stall out but bumbles for a second... machine idles at 1200/1250... I'm trying to figure out if the snorkel is choking the engine out or the reduction in pipe diameter...i may have idle air control valve issue to..located in Ohio..thanks
@@MUD365op well I haven't had mine go into limp mode..I have read, heard about them overheating and going into limp mode..did it throw a code when it went into limp mode and did it not rev past 1800 I believe...only thing I've heard is if they overheat really bad in excess of 250degrees..I was riding and did have one fan lockup and the one good fan I believe didn't run because I think it was on the same circuit....to me if one fan goes dead or locked up the other should come on and run no matter what... check water pump seal drip tube to... hopefully this helps interested to know more
Dont u need to run your vent lines up your snorkels to actually go over handle bars?
I have check valves on the vent lines.

On my 19 no. But I just recently picked up a 17 as well and it’s stalled a few times and went into limp mode.
