awesum tutorial .....
Hi Marty,
Thank you, i did this in cs6 extended, just one question?
i did this with my own photos and it didn't work out when it came to inverting the the mask. Is this due to not having cc or the photo quality??
using the images you provided, it came out fine. so, would you happen to know why this would be?
i done that .. i follow your steps .. thank you
awesome- im going to do something like this on my daughter...
wze like your tuto thanks
man
you r amazing !!
Keep up the creativity (y)
Amazing
SUPER!!!
The Blue Lightning TV tutorials are really good... but hold on a minute. Didn't you UPscale the image there at 3:40? Since it's not a smart object that move would destroy a lot of pixels.
ventende No. The enlargement is negligible. Also, Smart Objects don't prevent pixels from being "destroyed" when the image is enlarged. Smart Objects prevent only the ORIGINAL image from being destroyed.
If you exceed the size of the original image then pixels will be destroyed, but the point in having smart objects is to start off with a pretty highrez image and be able to upscale and downscale without any data loss - within the max size of course. If you upscale an image that's not smart you will loose any day of the week. When you upscaled your image I noticed that it wasn't a smart object, so no matter what the image would suffer.
ventende All of the above concerning smart objects is correct, however, keep in mind, the amount of upscaling in this particular lesson is so minimal that the "destruction" of pixels won't be at all noticeable.
Blue Lightning TV
That depends on what media you intend to use the pixels. Online usage sure. Highend print? Doubtfully.
ventende I do appreciate your opinion, however, I've had hundreds of "high end" print work done over the past few decades and I can say without hesitation that when an image is at least 150 ppi or preferably 300 ppi and it's upscaled 5 - 10%, the printed dpi isn't compromised enough that one will notice a degradation of quality.
Siip,
The last step didnt work. My nose is the same front view i tried again and again How u write but nothing. I can color to black or white my nose but not change to the under layer. Can u help me whats gonna be the problem? Thank you.
+beszologato I'm probably late but just out of curiosity, did you hide the middle 2 layers?
Im only using this vid so I can finish my homework lol
Great!!!!
ur pic link ..i download but ..some line include in this pic
Cool
but my dad helped me, that i have to select the black layer mask not the side. to work the nose out of here.
4:47 i cant do that, srsly. THAT STILL DONT WORK AND Y! PLS HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great
Hey Marty. The newer versions of PS do not have the "Refine Edge" option. What is it called now?
"Select and Mask". ua-cam.com/video/Rl1hEiKN4Lg/v-deo.html
Thanks. I figured it out after I asked lol. Awesome videos man! Do you experiment or do you learn from others?
What if I only have front picture? is that possible to do this?
grimangel99 It won't be as effective, since the nose will be facing front; not sideways.
I'm on Photoshop CS4 and when I do Refine Edge, I don't get the option to create in a new layer. Help please?
When I used older versions of Photoshop, I would duplicate the original layer before masking, then work on the copy. Accomplishes the same thing, just requires an extra step before you start.
TheDaszling Ok, thanks!
is it really your own voice on narration or a dubbed one ?
It's my real narration voice. I know I sound like a robot. :-]
haha nah man ! you sound so perfect and clear. i honestly love your accent
AAAAAAHHHHHA!!!😱😮
she looks really creepy, they make me scared, she looks like a alien but your artwork is good🙂👏
Stuck where you replace the nose!! I watched the video twice from the start... Till 4:30... Can you just give the command here in written
+Dimple Panchal Please turn on your UA-cam annotations. At 4:14, I added an annotation that states, " Ctrl-click or Cmd-click on the profile's layer mask to make a selection of its shape."
@@BLTV_Photoshop still not working and cant find any annotations here.
how did u replaced the nose ? can u plss explain
Go to 3:54 in the video.
What website or editor are you using?
Camtasia
@@BLTV_Photoshop bet thanks
which screen recorder do u use plzzzzzzzzzzzzz tellllllll plzzzzzzzzzzz
Camtasia
Wow that where simple oO
How did you replace the nose?
It begins at 3:55 in the video.
bro how to make intro like u
Sir..I used cs4 . i cand find refine with mask for the output :(
Refine Edge was first introduced in CS5.
I have the same problem, using CS3. How can I follow your steps to create this "double face"?? // Hm, I´ve tried to paint a "mask" by my own so I had to cut out the other picture. Not good, but it worked.
How to use ctrl + delete on windows
Ctrl + Delete fills whatever is in the active layer with the background color. The foreground and background colors are designated as 2 overlapping boxes at the lower, left of the tool bar.
Blue Lightning TV Photoshop ok thanks all the videos are a great help
மிக்க நன்றி
நீங்கள் மிகவும் வரவேற்க
superbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb
can this be done on cs6
Yes.
Is there an app for this?
No. Each one is unique.
Blue Lightning TV Photoshop what's unique?
At 3:20 in the video, the mouth needs to be positioned and the face sized to the profile. An app is unable to automatically align the faces.
Blue Lightning TV Photoshop ok got it
Hey Marty! I was wondering if you could help me out. I want to know how to create a super speed effect like in the Flash poster. It's basically light streaks in addition to lightning. If you can't then what about burn marks on the road that look like something just ran across super fast. Heres the poster: imageserver.moviepilot.com/the-flash-pilot-quick-episode-review.jpeg?width=1280&height=720
Don't know if you have figured it out. But I would try and play around with some white/light yellow lines, and use outer glow, maybe some drop shadow, in blending mode. Not sure about what burn marks you mentioned. If it's the red "cracks" on the road, then I would use a red color on some lightning and mix it with a orange glow.
Basically the image is lines, lightning and yellows, reds and orange :)
morduk87 Wow, thanks! I will try those! Also, those cracks are lightning bolts :)
No problem, hope it can get you to a usable result :)
Bet it will
Why do you have to repeat explaining action every time? Like "press X if your bg color is not black" etc. It's actually pretty annoying.
Flad Mast
Yes, you are right. I have learnt a lot from Marty's tutorials as a beginner. Keep going with the same pattern of instructions and style. In fact, I am very much impressed upon his tutorials. Those are very much educative for beginners like me.
because his tutorials is not only for you...
He does it to keep u from watching.
well i find that zooming very annoying, you kinda lost the touch where are those things his showing
I also feel annoying about this, but please not so selfish, not everybody is as good as you.
