That’s the type of people who get the most out of these classic servers. I’m the same way and I could be content playing on a server like this for a few years. I don’t constantly need something new to keep my attention and I don’t spend 4+ hours on the game everyday

I remember WAY back in the day when BC was new, because that expansion was when I got into the game (left mid-Cata). People would just hang out in Shattrath with both glaives to peacock that they'd gotten end-stage loot. You could only get it from Illidan, who was in the very last raid of the expansion, and I think only one would drop at a time and had a very low drop rate; to have two would be a massive bragging right.

Lol the salt In reality there was an abusable bug where you could seed BT and tell by the way the item loads in linked descriptions while inside if the boss had the glaives on him or not because before wotlk boss loot was generate when the raid ID was created So people would just reset over and over until they got a god seed with glaives.
I've definitely seen that name before on private TBC servers and the model looks very similar too. Once you have 1 glaive, your virtually guaranteed to get the 2nd one since it will be priority to you.
I totally understand the frustration. I’ve been playing wow for years. Done a ton of raids but hardly ever roll anything the only time I got lucky was a pair of shoulders. The next time after that it was the same shoulders. Like i understand luck of the draw whatever but people who put a lot of time and effort into the game should also be rewarded. I wanted that blue proto drake. Was trying to get them all. I would daily run that dungeon every chance I got I know I ran it close to 1000 times if not more. But it never dropped. Saw people run it and get it on the first try….
Next expan will come out and exactly this gonna happen but won't be a green... that or if a new stat comes out that's not in previous expansion a wep in New expansion will have that Stat on wep and end up better lol

The only sustainable enjoyment in any game is competition, otherwise it is not really a 'game' if there are no goals and rules that give you a sense of winning or losing. Besides, there is nothing to explore in a 16 year-old content. You can enjoy the journey of a new char in any server, the main reason people play new servers is to have a fresh start so they can compete on a level ground to achieve things before others. Therefore technically the goal should be rushing everything, otherwise it defeats the purpose of playing a new server.
I remember doing sunwell, everyone had to play perfectly for shit to die but so it all once and it's easy it's getting people to stand in the bloody bubbles on the last boss that took us longer than the expansion to complete lol pretty sure best attempt was 4% before wotlk came out

Reason I quit was I had worked for Months and months to get green fire for my Warlock, I got it and the power went out, when power came back I logged in went to mail box and nothing, so I opened a ticket and I don't care about the BS rumors of GMs that would do anything, lol the ones I delt with did me no favors nor restore my green fire, so I got so pissed and felt so betrayed, payed for a subscription since Vanilla, was there for BC, which was the bomb lol, all the way into MoP ( not my fav expansion) I was on the cusp of the next Expansion too,and I said nope, I quit. And lol, I did. Now I'm thinking about coming back lol. Reason I quit was I had worked for Months and months to get green fire for my Warlock, I got it and the power went out, when power came back I logged in went to mail box and nothing, so I opened a ticket and I don't care about the BS rumors of GMs that would do anything, lol the ones I delt with did me no favors nor restore my green fire, so I got so pissed and felt so betrayed, payed for a subscription since Vanilla, was there for BC, which was the bomb lol, all the way into MoP ( not my fav expansion) I was on the cusp of the next Expansion too,and I said nope, I quit. And lol, I did. Now I'm thinking about coming back lol. But yeah there's always going to be someone better, someone with better gear, and someone with green fire and someone green with envy fire lol cheers all!
