    Got mine 3 days ago, wife gave it a try, thought it was a great way to get familiar with gun handling and functionality. Love the rainy day practice aspect... and ammo savings.

    I really love how I can easily break out my strike man with all my various 9mm without having to do much more than load the laser bullet. Other systems have weird attachments which just deters me from doing the dry fire I should be putting in. Great cameo from the baby!

    Great video. I love my Strikeman. But if you have any influence over features and improvements I would love to see an option to be able to save a screen capture of the shot placements for each session so I can visually see improvements over time or what I need to work on.
    Keep up the good work.

      @@strikeman8154 I am talking about capturing the screen as it looks at the end of each session. So, if you have 10 shots you see where they all hit on the target. If I have each of those or at least the ones I choose to keep. I can see over time if I’m constantly hitting low and left or high and right or hopefully moving closer to dead center.
      If you have that in the new update or have it coming soon that would be great !!!

    I got the strikeman because .... ammo prices. My only concern is not knowing how accurate the laser is. If the laser off by any amount you will adjust your hold to compensate for that. When you go back to live fire, your mechanics will be off (and so will your shot placement). I found that the strikeman laser was not hitting where my RMR was zeroed. I figured my rmr must be off so I adjusted it to coincide with where the strikeman laser hits. My mechanics now feel totally different. Cant tell for sure until I go back to the range but I have a feeling everything will be off. Has anyone else had this experience? How true is the strikeman laser?

    The only issue I have with training tools such as these is there's no recoil management for follow up shots.
    In the real world, one shot is not always going to be all that's required to stop a threat.

    • @YourMom-cu8yt
      @YourMom-cu8yt 2 роки тому +1

      Recoil management is only one step of a multi step process. There are tons of skills to train on besides recoil management, which in my opinion you’re over inflating the value of in semi-automatic weapons. Training to take a deliberate and accurate first shot, and then resetting, is more important than managing the recoil of rapid follow up shots that are made in haste. Whatever though, recoil man.

    The only thing I don’t like about dry fire practice like this is your training to rack the slide after every shot. In a stressful situation you will do that.

    What they do not tell you until you get it is, it will not work with Ruger SR9 series or Walther PPS or PPS m2 , along with Ruger P95. I contacted their horrible customer assistance and they could not tell me why it does not work with those guns. So why does this not work with these guns.

    • @andydixon8952

      Funny, I keep seeing this same complaint from the same person on every Strikeman video, even from a year ago. Word for word! If you actually looked at their website, the fact that it doesn't work with those weapons is on there. Why don't you call Ruger and Walther and ask them why it doesn't work? Bet they won't give you an answer either.

    the only question i have, is that i keep having a bunch of haywire shots that keep going off consistently and i want to try to find the source of the problem... i'm not sure if its the lighting or any thing but it keeps having rounds go off that i didn't even fire... and sometimes my sessions are like 50/50 with that happening....

    Strikeman only stands behind their product for 15 days. The 9mm laser cartridge intermittently glitches. Customer service says to try to press hard on it to reactivate the laser. I would not buy this again.

  • @the13islucky
    @the13islucky Рік тому

    Yes you treat your weapon as if its always loaded and dont point at anything you wouldnt want to shoot. However, people that dont know anything about guns will assume it can just fire on its own with no bullet in it and an empty mag. Its smart to practice with your kid around, if anyone tries to rob me at gunpoint I will likely have a baby in my arms anyways. How proficient are these people at shooting with one hand? Its harder than it looks. If you go to the range there are kids in there too lol. Safety requires practice and to know your weapon and SAFELY operate it you need to practice in NORMAL life circumstances, safely.

    Bought a cartridge for 9mm and it is faulty I think. The actual laser is really wide and long rather than the dot it usually is. And when I pull the trigger to activate the laser it stays on periodically. Any one else have this problem? Strike man hasn’t been wanting to contact me about this…
