I come back to this video whenever the gouache gods aren’t smiling on me. Always, always helps.
Agree! I only use manufactured ink in my fountain pen. For dip, I use diluted acrylic paint. It's a bit finicky, but cheap and versatile.
I have paints but never use them. In not good with colors but I'm good with words. Now I can make my beautiful words look beautiful too! Thank you!
The distilled water would be best if the ink being mixed will be used in a fountain pen or other high quality pen.

I am late to the party, but thank you for making this tutorial. Just what I needed 😊
Really valuable tips😊👌👌👌Thanks🙏
if we can't get calligraphy ink so can we use this as a ink?? pls tell
yes
So can this be used to turn regular pen ink into metallic ink? How could it not clog the ballpoint pen?
Is it Gosh Color. Which brand. Should I use water color.
I use hunt 101 nib and zebra Gnib. Should I try using guache or should I try watercolour for ink?
Could you still mix color without gouache and could you use the ink on non water color paper?
My ink has bubbles in it and it's either too thick or thin even when adding one drop of water at a time and testing it after each drop. Am I missing something?
I don't have gouache can I only use watercolour?
Hi! Can you add Gum Arabic if the consistency is too thin?
Yes you can! Or you can just add more gouache. Gum Arabic will also make the ink a little more durable when dry, so lots of people choose to add it =)
What kind of Brause nib are you using in this video?
Edward Eiting it’s the Brause 361 Steno ‘Blue Pumpkin’ nib by the looks of it 🙂
Good video can we do this with acrylic paints also?
Yes you can! It's just the same process
