The fx10 bifet preamp is freaking awesome. I got one of these when they came out thinking it would be the same. I was sorely mistaken. Specifically I love the fx10 on bass. You make the 410 sound great on guitar though.
@@TheoAndHisPedals it's a very different animal indeed :) i Like this one for pushing drives, especially. It's a breath of fresh air in a world full of tube screamer style boosts.
@@DirtyDemos oh i didn't know that! Holy Island Glass Palace is based on the older version of the Dod Bifet Preamp, but there definitely are differences.
@@rahzark Legend has it it's based on the older version of the Bifet Preamp! In some settings they react similarly but overall theres quite a lot of differences. Especially when stacking :) Both awesome in their own right, as a straight up boost I usually prefer this one.

I think the Frost Giant Yama is based on this circuit. Always been interested in that.
