Literally was looking at ways to do this today and just signed into UA-cam and saw that my fave pedal channel posted something in that very topic! The universe works in mysterious ways, thank you!!
Great video, these are exactly the types of sounds i'm chasing. To try and limit my pedal addiction, i've limited myself to a Temple Audio Duo 17 (quite small) and i'm in the process of trying to build a super versatile board. I've stumbled on some great gain staging myself through trial and error and this has given me some more ideas to try. Keep this type of content coming, liked, subscribed and this is my comment to round out the trifecta 😎🤟
@PedalsandTea quick question: These riffs are so solid & melancholic, do you make any music yourself? Are these riffs original? If not, what bands do they come from? Who are you inspired by? I'd love to play something like what you're playing
@@mercennium thanks a lot, that's super nice of you to say! Those are just random ideas, don't have a particular influence for this kind of thing. Used to listen to Yob a bit more but I'm no Mike Scheidt by any means. I do write/play/produce but have no super recent releases (probably again in autumn). The last doom(ish) release was this ua-cam.com/video/Qv1dKPw2b3s/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared Thanks for asking, means a Lot!
@@RocketToSleep i'll try to put it Into another video 👍 generally, Quaalude can get a little squishy when putting thick fuzzes in front. Really depends how Mountain Mover is set
@@PedalsandTea Your videos are excellent and really help paint pictures of what each pedal you showcase is capable of. I deeply want the Tibetan Quaalude. I'm trying to think about it/imagine it in context with something like an HM-2/Octave Fuzz blend. I love the mids and the break up that the Quaalude gives. Alone, it sounds so good, and I'm pondering use case for one of many projects I have on tap. Cheers
@@RocketToSleep thanks! Means a Lot :) As you can hear, when being hit with Abracadaver (which puts out a huge volume push) it gets a little squishy. As Long as you are not boosting too hard or have the internal boost disengaged, I think you won't have to worry about anything 👍
@@NathanHorton-wg7yb Hmmm that is strange. As far as I know it was specifically designed to pair well with bright single coil guitars and add some weight. That EQ is super effective, too. I'm sure you can get pretty much anything you want out of it, frequency wise :)

Great demo and very helpful I can’t believe I missed it when it dropped

@@nooneknows3478 thanks so much! I mainly do idividual Pedal reviews but whever I find a technique worth sharing, it's going up on this channel :)
Really great demo! I need to resist the urge to buy more pedals

Hey, you sound amazing! If you actually have any releases yourself, can you put them in the video description?❤
Thanks! Will do with future releases:)

The Sword, Lord, and Mover combo is juicy. Aye! I'd really like to know what that Quaalude and Mountain Mover do when they dance...
