    This is well explained i wish you were my lecturerer so that i could understand some of these things well.Thank you so much.I am able to understand the mechanism of how insulin works.Why we have high amounts of glucose in the blood stream.

    Clinical pearl: Insulin + Glucose = loss of K+ ions. This is why we can use insulin and glucose to treat more profound hyperkalemia.
