I want to thank you brother & tell you I have a Dodge Stratus RT 3.0L which is the same engine as yours and I’ve searched the whole UA-cam and couldn’t find anyone talking and fixing the problems with the motor except you. This is a huge deal and I’m humbled by your knowledge and very great-full to you for sharing these videos cause I just watched all of them.👊🏾😎💯💯💯🛠🔧✅🆒♠️
I apologize for not giving you a thumbs up on this video before! I used it last summer to change out all the O2 censors and this helped me big time. So I have to give you props! Without it, it would have been much harder for me to find them all. Especially that one under the right tire, I would have never found that.
So, for an 07 spyder GT it would be the same but a little different...right? Bank 1 still the firewall side and bank 2 to the radiator. I’m trying to locate bank 1 sensor 1. If I’m correct The would be the top sensor (before precat) on the back (firewall) of the engine. My #2 sensors aren’t as far as yours. Guessing that’s a difference in the years.
Hello, don't know if you still have the car but if you do . Is there a pic or video that shows of to put back the crankshaft position sensor. I know it runs through the covers and down to the crank but I completely forgot how
Hey I just recently subscribed to your UA-cam channel and you seem to be very knowledgeable about the 3G Mitsubishi Eclipse, I have a 01 GT model and one of the codes that keep popping up is P0401 (EGR flow insufficient) and also P0431 (Warm up Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2) any suggestions on how to fix it, the vehicle runs great and is very strong but is restricting the ability to pass smog. I'm very interested in what you have to suggest and keep up the awesome work
I’m not sure what I did wrong but I replaced my valve gaskets yesterday and now my car won’t idle it dies and I keep hearing a loud air noise coming from the manafold.
I know this video has been up for a while but does anyone know the name to the sensor right on top of the intake manifold ? I lost the metal clip that holds that connector in place to it?
I have a 03 Mitsubishi spider gts .when I was putting water in the resevoir a little hit the belt and motor died immediately. I waited a little while it dried up it started right back up. Now the other day start the car runs for maybe 30 seconds and then quits will not restart wait about 15 minutes then it starts does the same thing again what I'm trying to figure out is what could have gotten wet with the water could it be the same problem that I'm having now I don't know I can't see anything there that we could have got wet that would have killed the motor I'm that's why I'm asking you it will start every so often only to run for just a little bit and then stall again. I have checked the fuel pump it seems to be working fine it seems to me like it's a spark thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've missed 2 days of work now going to lose my job please help
well I have the battery unhooked and when I rehook that there was before the check engine light was coming on yes but now I can't tell because it won't stay running long enough to tell it just actually I just started it and it ran for three minutes and then just quit and then it won't restart now if I unhook the battery again and leave it sit for who knows how long I don't know if I have to unhook the battery but if I leave it sit for a half hour hour it'll start right back up probably
Don't unhook the battery any more leave it hooked it up and see if it throws o code the read that code. On hooking the battery for 15 or 20 minutes resets the computer and will get rid of the code
Hey can i ask you because im having trouble finding this info. Bank 2 sensor 1 is upstream correct? and bank 1 sensor 1 is upstream also? Just wanna clarify
@@benjamingilmore so is bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 are both upstream. So are they the same sensor or are they different. Meaning can I buy a sensor described as "Mitsubishi eclipse 2003 v6 upstream o2 sensor" and be able to put it for either b1s1 or b2s1?

Hey can i ask you because im having trouble finding this info. Bank 2 sensor 1 is upstream correct? and bank 1 sensor 1 is upstream also? Just wanna clarify
Bank 2 sensor 1 would be called upstream right and Bank 1 Sen1 would be upstream left by the firewall? do you know by chance?
Yes u are right
Should I replace all four even though I'm only getting codes for two sensors?
KMS from the reading I have done and my personal experience, yes. Saves u pain later on.
And B1S1 is upstream correct?
alex torres yes
bank 1 sensor 1 upstream right?
Yes
If these sensors aren't working can these cause the car to overheat ?
Never heard of that. I would say noo
That would probably be the radiator fan or thermostat
What would B2S2 be upstream or downstream?
Bank 2 sensor 2 so downstream
