Thanks for sharing, Zac! I really appreciated your approach on the engine tear-down...not ripping the heads off first makes a lot of sense when you know what to look for "inside" the bottom of the block. Cool old hotrod! Enjoy! Be safe! Bro Harry
Thanks Harry! A lot of times you can just give it a good cleaning and run it! That’s why I wait to take the heads off, I’ve head a couple very low mileage flatheads that sat for a very long time that we have cleaned and they have been running strong!
There is nothing better than a 34 Ford. Looking forward to watching your build. Best of luck to you, but it really does not look like you need it. Kudos.
Hey Zac that a pre 39 trans with the early synchro. Also what looks like missing teeth on the output shaft is just how it was made. Either the VanPelt website or book I think shows this. I rebuilt same style to run behind my banger and thought the same thing originally. Looking forward to more Blue Martian Videos
Hi Thomas thank you for watching both series! I rebuild at least three of these transmissions a month for customers, I have quite a few transmission videos on my channel, I love them! Haha.
great stuff......how bout a video on how to rebuild early ford shocks..the lever type...32-40..there is nothing on these and they are servicable...thanks bro..
Nice content! I have a question about Spark plugs. What would you suggest for a rebuilt 8BA with EAB heads and a Stromberg ignition? I know it’s slightly off of what you were covering, but I know you know what you’re doing for sure-Thanks

Nice job Zac! It’s looking good. Can’t wait to see more episodes on this
Nice flat head , great video, thanks
Thanks for watching!
Great videos brother, I'd like to see my buddy Derek's T-shirt Boling Brothers rules.
Boling Brothers makes some great stuff! We are using a lot of Derrek’s parts on my 28 RPU build

Looks like a very good engine. I'm just started to get my shit together, but I'm missing a few parts... 😉

Great idea Steve! I’m running them on a couple of my cars, probably a good idea to rebuild a set
