This week the theme is... fish. Tim has put together all his toys with a fishy theme. From fish pens to fish balloons, toy fish in tanks, to mechanical fish, and finally a shark with a mind of it's own. Watch out Tim!
Aaaagh! We filmed the shark yesterday, and it was left tethered in the Grand Illusions studio. However today we had the decorators in, and lots of doors were open, and the shark made a bid for freedom. Helium filled, it was last seen at about 600 feet, heading over the Buckinghamshire countryside in an easterly direction! Luckily this is a recent toy, and Tim knows where to get another one!
There's something magical about this channel. The nostalgic and innocent nature of this man and the items he presents is beautiful and hearkens to a nearly bygone era.
Question: do you still watch Tim a year later?
check out the shows made by jonny ball on bcc in the late 70s called "think of a number" and "think again". they are equally awesome
@@PleistocenePat Because they were young child during the "bygone eras". In my point of view, the 2000's are nostalgic and innocent, but they actually weren't.
limescale onetwo it’s magical because he can take a toy that looks and acts the worst ever and make it seem beautiful and complex
.
That little " heh" he does at the end of every video just brightens my day up.
*HEH*
*HEH*
Heh mine too

heh
The little red fortune fish thing is actually based off the moisture of your hand, not the heat of the hand as most people assume, which I discovered by reading the comments of Ashen's video featuring one. He got "Fickle", which matches his personality when reviewing toys, while Tim has Passionate/In Love, which is absolutely adorable.
Wow, that shark at the end. DO WANT.
it's called an air swimmer, one site I know of that sells them is Vat19.

Aha!
the second toy, the little wind up coin bank... that's so cute, i wish i knew who made it!
yung yeen I can tell it's based on the show Umi No Triton or Triton of the Sea which was an old cartoon back in the 70s or so
what kind of toy is it?
I wonder how it works
4:05 I got one of those things many years ago as a souvenir from a local nature preserve, except it was a snake rather than an eel. I still have it on my desk today!
Correction: the one in the video is just a plain ol' fish, not an eel.

That little moving mounted bass is unbelievably rare!
thanks again tim
in south Africa we had snake toys like that wooden fish all those many segments made for quite good slithering motions
I got one of those as well, but from south america
steevanator otto how do you call these toys
@@margritschenk6705 wiggly wood I believe?
I had one bought in Poland, they are quite common in souvenir shops in places related to animals or medieval history (because they have a lot of other wooden toys).
4:14 I remember having toys with similar mechanisms when I was a kid but instead of being fish it were mostly snakes and crocodiles. Brings back memories ❤️
this padlock is beautiful. straight out from a fantasy world.
His grandchildren must be so lucky with so many toys
i dont think he has any children or even a wife he used to work as an entertainer for children's parties though imagine literally having this guy showing up to your birthday party
I love the shark at the end! It's so realistic in how it swims around the room
"Mom I want a pet fish"
Mom :- "But we have one at home !"

You could probably just point at the wall and say hey, Tim, look at that! And he would be fascinated for hours.
Schizophrenia joke?
this old man is magical, taken from some fairytale
"[...] made from...what they call 'plush'."

Lain don't have to be so little. Aggressive this man is creative imagination

6:01 "There's always a bigger fish."
He's like Bob Ross, showing us his toy collection at the same time giving us a sense of nostalgia of our childhood memories.
Ohhh, fishy, fishy, fishy, fish! That went... where-ever I... did go!
I’m glad the fortune fish told us all that Tim was in love
The Japanese one with the coin is what I want :(
The love i have for long episodes
I guarantee this man has a private museum full of neat little toys and nicknacks put on display
That shark at the end killed me. 😂
That's a lot of fish.

8:20 best joke, i actualy laughed
I hope this guy never ever dies
I love how he greets the shark! It's really cute. Also I want to hug the shark.
Just the pure joy on his face on the thumbnail.
Tim: plenty more fish in the nile
*[Everyone liked that]*
That little lullaby picture frame is really lovely (the one with the child riding a dolphin, and the background revolves)
These videos are so charming!
This collection isnt completed without the typical “dont worry be happy” singin fish
I want that little music box with the boy riding the dolphin. Yes please.
You must be the coolest granddad ever. You should have a way to display your many collections. Like a fun house with themed rooms where people can come and admire (and maybe play with) some of your collection.

We have to protect this man at all costs
For anyone wondering, the song that the japanese toy is playing in a lullabie is called Ebb Tide 1:04
Speaking of which, the music box that goes on the wall plays a song called As Time Goes By by Casablanca and Frances Williams
Why is it so satisfying to hear him talk
quite an aggressive 'heh' in this one
Please UA-cam, never stop recommending me videos of this great man. 🙂
Aw the head and tail were moving tim’s in love
2:09 that one encases all of the effort that was put into making things well in the past, even toys.
Oh, that poor shark. Ah well. At least he’ll brighten people’s days as he swims through the skies.
I love that according to the fortune fish Tim is in love while playing with his toys. Maybe there's something to that fish...

Youre absolutely right and you shluld say it
i like the one with the boy on a dalpin
Im 100% sure you can stay watching these fishes for days
I used to have a snake version of the wooden fish, that thing used to pinch me so much, but it moved very realistically.

the fish at the beginning was just vibin
Could listen to this man say gooble all day
I want that shark!
The shark! THE SHARK, TIM! WATCH OUT!
4:30 You're supposed to hold it horizontally it in the air from one end, the rest will stay up, and do wavy things
yea, I had them in wood, but i'm sure it's the same idea
I strive to be as passionate about my dreams as Tim is passionate about his toys, this man make me smile everyday. Thank you, Tim.

Thank you Tim ! You're a BEAUTIFUL human being !
I have a variety of those singing and dancing fish that you mentioned, they are quite fun!
That fish that moves its tail on the wooden plaque is the very first of those novelty fish. Worth about 300-200 dollars.
"head and tail you're in love" the head and tail was moving when he said that
The shark at the end is awesome!
Very very better than slime and fidget spinner s
Hey Tim, lovely show. Did you know those fortune teller things were actually once made of actual fish? Sturgeon swimmbladder to be precise. Often painted with little pictures on them. They were collectables in the old ages that would come to life on the palm of your hand just like your fish. Cheers, Mark
The shark at the end was so cool
4:06 oh my goodness my childhood! but it was a snake... not a fish...
Me too! =) I still have mine =)
For me it was a crocodile.
Tim is my spirit animal
these toys are so much cooler than what kids have now. i bet we can just start marketing things like this and kids would be rather happy about it.
