- 2009 Toyota Aygo, Citroen C1, Peugeot 107 what car is it i wonder.
well this car i do a small review on the car and list its problems that it needs to have sorted.
Common problems are literally just the thing leaking round the boot and the exhaust rotting through, other than that they're absolutely bulletproof
This does seam to be pretty bullet proof so far other than some owner damage and lamba sensor fault oh and the lack of first gear it is pretty much a sound car. Not had the issue with the leaking boot or rotten exhaust just yet but as its not my car I may just be unaware of those issues. It only comes into my possession when it needs something doing to it.
@@TheZXGuy it's just one of them cars that will never fail to get you home
Bit like my ZX then even with 2 bent conrods from being hydrolocked it still got me home 🤣
What was the problem with the 1st gear?
I'm not entirely sure as the customer doesn't want it sorted so I've not had the time to properly look at it in regards to first gear but it seams to be a linkage issue as it will get 1st gear sometimes from second
The droning at the back is probable a wheel bearing, and front disc wear quite quick on all these little town cars because thats what they are lots around town driving breaking all the time, doesn't look like its be well maintained dont let them brakes get to metal to metal.
And its Toyota Aygo with different bumbers and logos.
Great video mate even though I wasn't a professional director with my hand being in the way lol
It's ok buddy no worries
Toyota done all the designing.
Like!
Hi bro i'm going to buy a new car and i have to choice beetwen Citroen C1 1.0 (2009) and Toyota Aygo 1.0 (2009), which one do you recommend?
I'm a big fan of Citroen so im more in favour of the C1 but in reality they are just the same car underneath with different badges and they are great little cars just be more mindful of getting one that's been looked after rather than what the badge is
@@TheZXGuy Thanks , i think i'm going to choose the Aygo, greetins from Italy! 😄🇮🇹
@@ivandam2035 - For cars that are virtually identical. Made in the same factory, same parts, etc. The minor aesthetical differences turn more into a personal choice. Although its kind of obvious even for the most casual observer. That Peugeot/Citroen did a better job on the rear end design, providing better trunk access and marginally safer light implementation.
The trunk is already small enough. There's no need to have the light cluster making it narrower, Toyota designers stumbled on this point. Light clusters have also larger water ingress points on the Toyota. Although be aware ALL triplets are prone to water ingress via rear light cluster, third brake light, etc.
Anyway the choice should go to condition and equipment. Asking price surely is not to be neglected. Worth considering that tendentially Toyota OEM parts tend to carry a slightly heavier price tag! Which might come as a surprise to some. Specially if we consider they're exactly the same parts! ;-)
@@crpth1 thanks ! But in the end i found and choose a Ford ka 1.3 (2010) and i think is better than other two, affair
@@ivandam2035 Ford !?!? By this You have switched to different destiny. What can be perfect then car desined at Toyota . There is no deep support and sense that Pego and Citro just joined to project of mutual production of city bugs.
Please don''t torture the brakes. Pads are clearly out and you're gonna ruin the discs.
Pads and discs was already gone before I got to look at the car I was literally taking it home from 1 Street away to replace the discs and pads as you will see in the video I uploaded onto here after this one.
These all suffer from continued piston slap, even after warming up. Very loud engines
