Hello 👋🏻 I really appreciate all the videos that you make helps a lot for future reference
Just though you guys would like to know, there's a company called "mybodyrelief" selling garbage belts for back pain, and theyre using footage from your video of you two, saying "recommended by chiropractors"
Thanks so much for all your info videos. In this one, the elastic shoelaces, I didn't know existed, are going to stop a lot of pain for me. The long handled shoehorn is a great help, I have one. If anyone is interested you buy even longer ones, they sell them for putting on tall boots so even less bending.
Bless you guys! You guys have really great content
Now this was great! You can log roll to get your pants up on days when bridging just isn't going to happen. And you can get dollar tree kitchen tongs to use as a reacher for some tasks too.
When sitting up, I use my grabber, which has soft rubber suction cups to draw my pants up my legs. For getting socks on, I tri-fold the end of a towel and stuff the end into the sock all the way to the bottom. Then I grab the top corners of the towel. Place my foot in the center and slide my foot into the sock as I pull the corners of the towel. With a 14mm subluxation L2-L3 I have constant pain. These are lifesavers for me!
Thank you.
Hi guys y’all are a great help..this back pain is pretty bad at times ..thx for all your tips..you are right about tightening up the core when getting up and rolling over.. I have a wonderful therapist.. he said all the things you guys said..😋
What about the socks ?
I will check on the Zeba shoes thank you guys. U R great help
When I had two disc's bulging into the spinal cord at the L4 and L5 vert's from a work accident. I found it much easier and fairly painless to put my socks and shoes on if I did it one at a time. 🤣😂🤣 Just kiddin with ya guys. It was miserable to put them on even when I did do it one at a time. Thanks for the advice every once in a while I will do something stupid and my lower back will flare up again I'll remember this even use it just to prevent additional pain in the future.
Again thanks, great channel.
You want not have these problems turn your router OFF in your house over-night or even whenever your not using it. EMF waves dries out the fluids in our bodies.

@@therealj.s.c.6684 I don't have to worry about my router in my house. I'm homeless and I live in a tent in the forest. but thanks for advice anyways.
I have sciatica - sucks - but you guys are amazing!!! So here's the problem with shoes and socks for a guy who owns a farm and needs to put on work boots. I know exactly what you are saying about the "C". Now, the boots weight a ton, and there is no way i'm able to do this in bed.... so, I figure, instead of bringing my body down to my boot, what if I did something revolutionary and brought my boot and foot up to me? So I went to the stairs and placed my boot on the second step, kept my back straight and their was a little pain, but not like it would be if i was trying to pull it on when the boot is on the floor.
You guys might do some experiments...
Where I live in remote part of Canada I can't get to a certified McKenzie therapist - the videos are great!!!!
Again - you guys are amazing - so much help.
Thanks
Thanks for the helpful information. I didn't know about elastic shoelaces when I was troubled by sciatica and lack of suppleness years ago, so I wear only slip-on shoes or boots with side zippers.I cross my legs as you show to put on socks also.
How are you now are you now over with your sciatica ?
Excellent!!!!!!!!!! Extremely helpful.
Nice jammies. I have the grabber, the shoe horn, now I need the jammies and I'm all set. 😁
I have to say..I have it all😋
Thank you for this video, I need to get that reacher!
Thank so much sir ji
You guys are awesome.. thank you so much for all the education you provide.
All good advice, guys!
thanks for sharing
Definitely would recommend an OT eval if someone is having this much trouble doing these daily tasks.
Would love for you guys to make a “after pain goes away” video for preventative care
Came back here after the back pain disappeared, great videos guys, I’m gonna keep rehabbing to come back stronger than ever.
I will add it to our to-do list and see what we can do!
I tried to put my socks on like usual… I was rewarded with a sharp zinger in the back.
I had this question, so of course Bob & Brad had the answer 😂🔥
Great video, but my new challenge it’s now Fx wrist on top of fused back. Bummer
good job
If you could expand on the pants putting on it would be great. The grabber helps a little but still puts me in a unstable condition . This includes underwear. Getting older and balance just gets worse and will continue. Don’t enjoy wearing a kilt so testing more of the dressing aids would help. Thanks, love your videos.
Ps. I have bamboo spine that is 100% fused so those little twists and bends you do can happen without a fracture. Yes I do daily stretches to improve my ability to flex legs and keep balance.
Thank-you!
thanks I never proplery learned how to put on my shoes and socks. Still learning to tie me shoes.
This is good but probably because you have mobility especially in your knees. Laying down you can bring your leg across but what about hip & knee issues especially trying to put on socks???
I'm ok putting socks on in the figure four position but tying laces ruins my back. I have to use a long shoe horn with pre-tied laces.
I follow the getting out of bed it works the best
I use my grabber to put my pants on. Works great. I still need to figure out how to put my socks on. My husband and daughter help me
Bob and brad I really enjoy you both , however : this is an adl that Occupational Therapists are educate clients and patients on, it should have been mentioned in your video.
Hey guess what you could have started with have a friend help you put them on and that would have been the end of the video!!
Just promo for shoes, ignored the hardest part ... the socks!
Any suggestions or stretches for someone that has issues getting into the figure for position to put on shoes currently my situation which is why I’m asking
Putting my shoes on has been miserable. For we ladies, shaving our legs is a real problem too! So perhaps the figure 4 method will work for that too.
But I do like the Deba's
I have a 5 level lower lumbar fusion. Reduction in flexibility has caused it to be difficult to perform task that I took for granted. Bending over to put shoes and socks on, clothing, twisting, bending over also cause me pain. Any advice is appreciated.
Videos I’m watching at 35 💀
I thought the figure 4 was not recommended for people with hip replacements.
You didn't do socks. How do you get socks on
Did I miss something? I watched the whole video and nowhere did you address socks.
\
You didn't address socks
Has anyone else had trouble fining the sciatica program on bobandbrad.com?. Under Programs, I only see Plantar Faciatis.
Sorry, the Sciatica program is not 100% complete yet on the website. Please be patient, it will be done.
Where is the socks
I didn't see how to put socks on.
Yeah, it probably got skipped - and might have been just use the grabber.
Another commenter suggested this: (not my link, seems okay)

Socks : putting on Socks is not discussed here .
If you have trouble putting on shoes then how in the bloody hell are you going to tie the laces?
Socks ???
Where's how to put socks on?
