    This design could be made better by producing your own boundary layer discs, the one's in the stepper motor have a limited amount of surface area which reduces the boundary layer effect between the blades.

      +MrTeslonian I was thinking the same thing. Have holes in the front plate just like the back plate. create a side entrance manifold which will swirl the molecules into the front openings of the offset rotating plates while sealing the edge notches including to the outer case. For the back, seal the inner holes on the rotating offset plates ensuring there is sufficient gap on the outside for exhaust to escape towards the back plate holes. An exhaust manifold can also be created if there is a need to group and reclaim whatever molecules are coming out the back. Of course appropriate sealing and lubrication methods would need to be implemented with respect to whatever molecules are being transferred, including stainless for H2O transfer.

      MrTeslonian is it possible to combine your tesla turbine with your gasifier by double wrapping copper piping around the gasifier and using the heat to turn water into steam? How efficient is the turbine? Does it reach the over 90% efficiency of the original?

    A very good presentation! To make the Tesla Bladeless (sp?) Rotary Turbine run as an internal combustion engine, Nikola's "No Moving Parts" One-Way Valve needs to be used at the inlet manifold, & make the rotors thick enough to withstand the high temperatures involved. Based on one of his patent illustrations, if made properly, (and dynamically balance the rotor assembly), it really will make 500-hp that "fits in a hat". Bolted to an automatic transmission, (or a manual-shift with balanced clutches & other internal parts), & the ring-&-pinion gearset changed as needed to handle the extreme high speed, the drivetrain will easily power an automobile, truck, or just about any application which requires a lot of hp in a very small space. Low-grade fuels can be used, since the design has no compression ratio, & no squish or quench areas, (and yes, that's what they're called; see the collected works of Sir Harry Ricardo for more details) thus there is no ping or knock to justify high-grade fuels. Once started & the "intake manifold" reaches a low- to medium red heat, the spark plug can be turned off, since the turbine will "diesel". To stop the turbine, shut off the fuel with a solenoid-valve, or any of the other means to "fuel-starve" the engine.

    • @MrTeslonian
      @MrTeslonian  7 років тому

      The Tesla turbine at it's top velocity and with a very small load is about as efficient as you can build, the flaw and reason they were never used is that they drop drastically in efficiency once a medium to heavy load is applied. They also fail at providing torque at low rpm's which is useful for vehicle use, this design was to provide a turbine that functioned with more low end efficiency than the origanal design (this doesn't mean that it will perform any better at full rpm's or under light loads than the origanal) and could be used to get a vehicle to move when the turbine starts at 0 rpm's, were as the Tesla turbine would have to be at full speed before you could apply resistance to it and move the vehicle.

    Great improvements.
    Needs output air holes to be spiraling out from center and cut slanted to match the slipstream. It could also benefit from magnetic bearings.
    3D printing the parts will allow you to control their electric and thermodynamic properties.
    Great design, has implications in electric generator / motor technology, mechanical and electrical gearing and engineering, turbines, resonance and understanding in toroidal energy flow.

    Hello again use your turbine system along with an older style 3 wire automotive alternator. You can use dc\/ac step up or down transformers to apply the correct voltswattsamps conversion to make your earth battery system up to full 220volts. Use the heat sink variable(your heat to electric current exchange) where you had all those v&w wire shapes twisted around that graphite pencil lead. Use forced induction from your gasifier exhaust along with any radiant heat lost during the high contrast heating or cooling of the metal material your conducting current through. "wires atomic resistance to shed a neutral particle with out stepping an electron to a higher orbit" the result is a shed nuetron and the closest orbiting electron takes the place of the shed neutral particle. In doing so and with a fine tuning of the magnetic frequency you can reverse the atomic degradation and revitalize any atomic structure.
    I truly believe electricity in all forms is really a LIVING AND CONSCIOUS LIFE FORM. Plasma being a more condensed but more free to communicate than the forms we trap inside of insulated copper or gold.
    I know you are aware of the push pull effect. We waste electricity in the form of heat. We force it through conductors burning wires until they glow(incandescent filiments).
    Thank you for enlightening the World Mr.Teslalonian (please forgive my spelling) Your future is ready for the reveal.

    Mr Teslonian, I have a suggestion. You mentioned either in this video or another one of your tesla turbine videos the possibility of pushing water through the turbine. Water and air can both be compressed fairly easily. I believe this is a big factor for why you do not have much low end torque with this turbine. The air is being compressed in small amounts, but just enough to make a power loss. My suggestion is to push hydraulic brake fluid through the turbine. Hydraulic fluid does not compress like air or water, and assuming there are no air bubbles in the system, I beleive you will create much more torque. This however may come at the sacrifice of some high end speed, since air can move through channels much faster than brake fluid.

  • @josephbyrd892

    You may want to clean the parts with electrical connector cleaner, and wear rubber gloves to do this project. Electrical cleaner does not leave a residue, and the oils from your hands (even after washing them) can degrade the components.

    can you use water as an energy input? if corrosion becomes a concern...can 3d printed version be made as a one piece? does the core cylinder diameter affect the output? finally, does the length of the cylinder affect the rotation speed?

    • @vink6163

    I'm looking at all the parts from this disassembly that you are starting with, and this looks very similar to the parts of an AUTOMATIC transmission. like a GM Turbo 350. I don't know if this Tesla Turbine technology is involved in any way to the design of these transmissions, but I am just wondering! I know a torque converter is a type of TURBINE!

    • @likesrush
      @likesrush 6 років тому

      I can't say directly but I do know that Tesla turbines are very popular in the oil/gas industry to pump oil since the spaces between the blades allow crud to pass without damage. But I thought about the hydraulic pumps in an automatic transmission and a Tesla turbine is a very nice way to pump fluid. But I honestly haven't seen the inside of that transmission.
      On a separate note i saw a youtube video from a guy that didn't explain very well but he took a modern alternator and showed that there is, instead of a heat generating back emf controller, it uses permanent magnets moved in and out to control the amount of output current being generated. This is an advanced technology that is very laborious mathematiclly to show. There's a guy on here who demonstrates this and the resultant gains in efficiency. He doesn't believe it is in use today it's certainly not in any other appliance. I'm wondering if some of the "good ideas" people have had are finally coming into production by a company that used to silence these. Maybe they see that if they don't do all that's common knowledge to compete then their time is limited. We've ball heard the stories of better ideas thst make fantastic gains in efficiency. And if you look at the past 20 years cars have become more efficient by a lot, mostly at the expense of power. But who knows? Bit by bit maybe quietly they are introducing these things in production machines in ways that don't make waves. Maybe? I want to get a newer model GM alternator and try that stuff but who has time ? I've got to fix my own car.

    Great inspiration and skill! Just to help clarify it for me, in principal its higher torque will be generated by the resistance of the steps to the steam/air/liquid flowing through the apertures? If I understand correctly because the disks are offset and form a spiral staircase you have resistance from both the surface of the disk as per the original Tesla design together with the the increased resistance of the offset stepping surface of the blades? Thanks, cant wait to see it run

    Why not build a stator coil into the tesla casing and put thin neodymium into the outer disc to combine the generator with the turbine?
    In fact it might be interesting to see how a polar molecule working fluid/gas would perform thru a disc array with permanent magnets set into them too. I guess the molecules will be spinning and in a random arrangement and in the process of reorienting themselves in the magnetic field there should be a resultant vector providing more drag/torque?
    I would like to play around with this and other ideas but unfortunatey I have an unfavourable time to idea ratio!!

      I have an idea for constant energy flow :) Imagine a bunch of water wheels positioned above each other, each one when spinning generates an electrical current not so unlike a wind mill does but with water. At the top is a big basin of water, as the water falls straight down it spins the water wheels generating electrical current. When it reaches the bottom their is another basin, but this one can be shaped some what like an up side down bowl and is slanted down so water flows into areas that are separate and in these areas the water is evaporated and then travels up tubes and back to the top where water re-condenses and falls back down. In these tubes the steam is traveling up through, there is a smaller tube coming down from the top and small windmill like contraptions protruding from it. The rising steam spins these small windmills and generates electrical current that travels through wires in the center of these inner tubes and can either be used for extra energy output or help to heat the bottom bassins. The energy to keep the bottom hot enough to evaporate water comes from as many of the water wheels spinning as needed. To get more energy output you just make the contraption taller with more water wheels, It will always only take so many wheels spinning to keep the water on bottom boiling so more wheels equals more energy output. The material in the top basin can be designed as a heat sink to help the water re condense into liquid form, if built correctly, so no water/steam escapes, it just keeps going and going utilizing natural forces to function. :) Now just add the proper electrical wiring into its design so all the excess energy being perpetuated can be accessed from plugs on bottom of device and presto you got yourself free energy. :) Please share this Idea with Everyone.

    what are your thoughts on the load issues of tesla turbines? ive been wondering if perhaps you could help offset them with true frictionless >air?< bearings , if you got really good at it surely you could even control it with mag lev type n/s pulses, im unsure if permanent or electro magnets would be best for this and was thinking if you put perma's on the crank shaft and coils round the crankshaft sheathed like modern motors, that could produce and allow for electro magnets, what do you think to the 97% claimed by tesla n met with no load? , i was thinking if you had a driving force to take energy from you could easily make a very nice mag lev tesla turbine, my context of need was for a pistonless helium 'sterling not sterling' motor (because it has no piston) taking advantage of the helium expansion and also taking advantage of the subsequent compression at room temp to drive tesla turbines and magnetos aimed at firing electros in nsnsns for mag lev , this is a very crude outline, needless to say it would need an external heat source so we arent breaking physics at all as far as i can tell. another quick que below you say boundry effect discs , is the pattern hexagonal nano cavitation by any chance what would you think to a disc with nano or micro hexagonal or even circular (former probably better) i will have to go away and research what the powers that be do, i had thought cavitation would help?

      Ashes Wake I hate to break it to you, but true frictionless bearings don't exist. There are bearings with fairly small amounts of friction, but there is still friction. It's a thing we can't avoid yet, if ever. But for the rest of your comment, the electromagnet could work for what you are looking for. I'm just making a guess here.

    Probably would be much better were the parts not magnetized. Those swirling fields will create loading in the casing and reduce efficiency.

    Is someone wanted to make this off the grid sized. Would tall skinny variations or short and fat? I'm picturing like 4" pipes 3 or 4 feet tall like 4 or 5 that can be build into the framing or 12" tall 6ft round laid into the foundation. The later would be a challenge to properly service if anything was to fail. But would energy decrease with a tall unit due to gravity?

    I have a question im hoping someone can help me with. Is the exhaust equal or anywhere close to equal to the input? Could it in turn be used to power another smaller turbine?

  • @Pconn71
    @Pconn71 9 років тому +2

    Suppose you powered the turbine with compressed air, and fashioned a sealed "exhaust capture" device which feeds into a hose and loops back to the compressed air supply line (between compressor and turbine) with a one way valve. Could it be possible to power the unit to maximum efficiency and subsequently shut off the compressor supplied air and have it "self propel" using the collected exhaust air as 'supply air' in a sort of feedback loop? Just a thought...

    This particular turbine construction could be used as a heavy water steam electrolysis turbine, constructed out of metal deuterides.
    Small enough to construct for a lab, the only problem would be how to introduce about 20 amps of current so that electrolysis begins.
    Presumably because the turbine is in motion, the surface of the rotors would not be pitted by z-pinch, and once electrolysis is under way, would actually generate power.
    Most lab experiments for heavy water electrolysis are static units, but once in motion, the metal deuterides could avoid the pitting in the metal.
    An example of heavy water electrolysis with a tungsten cathode:

    TO SAY YOU CAN'T PRODUCE MORE POWER THAN WHAT YOU PUT IN IS A LIE. GENERATORS, ELECTRIC MOTORS, THINGS THAT CREATE POWER ARE PURPOSELY DESIGNED TO USE MORE THAN WHAT THEY PUT OUT IN ORDER TO KEEP YOU GIVING YOUR MONEY TO THE ELITE. FREE ENERGY IS EVERYWHERE AND THE ELITE WILL KILL YOU TO KEEP IT HIDDEN. WE NEED TO ALL STICK TOGETHER AND SHUT THEM DOWN. DETHROWN THEM
