I could have done a better job by sorting more cheerful photos for Yesterday and the others for Requiem, but sorry I'm too lazy:) I hope Gia fans enjoyed the video.
at first I was like I wish the photos were on for a few seconds longer, but then I liked that Gia's life was flashing before my eyes....

I always found the last photo hard to look at. The dark circles, watery eyes. It looks as if she had been through an ordeal not long prior to the shoot. Also, ive never seen a person look so different in such a short amount of time. I know she was an addict and lived a fast life but she only modeled a few years. Its just an observation. Thanks for uploading
Heroin affects people differently. Some people you can't tell and others get the eye bags and all. It's a horrible addiction to beet. I did it. It was very hard. I am one of the fortunate ones that made it out alive.

I also find that photo very hard to look at. To me it is a face of a beautiful young woman who has seen a lot of ugliness of our world. And also some kind of fear and sorrow...
To me it is a natural picture with no makeup, not disturbing at all
There are many of Gia without full makeup, she had beautiful facial features which were enhanced by makeup application. She was extremely photo genic

The pictures need to be slower
Beautiful video, thank you. The timing is too fast though to be able to capture each photo properly. I understand your concept but the eye can't take it all in when the speed is exaggerated like that.
UA-cam has a setting with which you can change playback speed of the video. If you're on PC, to the bottom right corner and you'll see a Cogwheel, click it and you'll see "Playback speed" .
That's so horrible, how on earth are we even suppose to see her, as fast as the photos are shown. Ever hear of quality is better than quantity?

5 mins and what 57 seconds??? Double that, triple it, this went way too fast for sum wonderful pics!
You can change the speed in video settings :) There was a music overlay, but it got deleted by UA-cam...
How tall was she?
Her "official" modelling height was listed as 5'8", which was the absolute minimum required in those days.
Although I've read multiple stories all saying that when she first met Wilhelmina Cooper, the 1st agent to sign Gia, that she barely made the height requirement. But Wilhelmina gave her a contract anyway.
I'm guessing she was probably 5'7 and a half tops, but shorter than 5'8".
