- This one was a surprise! I was fishing in the Port Washington Harbor in Wisconsin when a huge fish ate a live minnow I had out on a set line. This big chungus fought hard but I was able to land it. Check it out!

Wow, what an unexpected catch on a minnow. Quality carp! Hoping to get to Wisconsin in the coming year. Haven't been able to cross as we adopted our son and his paperwork isn't finalized. Someday we'll get some fishing in! Keep growing the lifelist!
I've got some plans in 2023. I'm hoping to get to 100 next year.
The carp is definitely a underrated fish very fun to catch very powerful great video keep up the great work

Nice man! Are the burbs still biting there? Im planning on trying tomorrow there to get my first one. Also will try for trout.

Hey I guessed right🎣you seemed surprised it ate a live minnow? Carp are not just bottom feeders they are a very game predator like the sturgeon. While fishing the hot ponds in Lake Huron for walleye the big carp would inhale large crank baits ie hot and tots #7 rapalas etc. nice job👍👏🏻

Well I was definitely wrong when I guessed new PB lawyer fish! Oh well, I'm always happy with a PB no matter what it is!

My PB out there is 57.3lbs for a carp. There are bigger ones than that

Yeah no, you haven't caught one that size. State record is 57 pounds on line. I live in Port, there are not 50 pounders lurking around. 40's tops
