Don't buy the shower curtains.. it's so thin I had to keep smacking the curtain away from me to stop sticking to my leg.. 😂😂
LOL! "sticking to your leg"
Emilia Barthe I love them! Disposable liners! Use a little while then toss in trash! Yes I know you're referring to the curtains but they are great as liners
lol that's funny I know exactly what you mean
Emilia Barthe loll same sucks
im in that same situation. it keeps trying to attach itself to my body and i get hella paranoid after i watch a horror movie and hit the shower with soap in my hair and on my face then feel a cold breeze and something touch my back.
no joke I bought a pack of batteries from the dollar tree 2 years ago for my tv remote and I'm still using them... when they started to die I just flipped them around and they still worked... so instead of buying new ones I just keep flipping them around and no joke, 2 years later I'm still using the same batteries... I don't know if it will work for everyone but its been working for me....
Me too 😆
Me three, i always buy the AAA eight pack for remotes, flashlights, and the kids stuff...
yea same
Same!!!!
The flipping method doesn't work as well on higher intensity energy consumers.
Never buy dollar tree headphones they are terrible!
All the changers and headphones I have bought last for two years
I guess I don't know how the good ones work, because the headphones I buy from the dollar store work fine.
I do like the headphones. What really suck are the earphones.
I do like the headphones. What really suck are the earphones.
They sound like Bose headphones
Some people are taking this video way to serious lol. This sister is just sharing her opinions trying to help folks out in their choices with the invested dollars we contribute at the Dollar Tree, from her personal experiences. Everyone has different taste in product, and that's ok? We should keep the feed back positive. She seems like a nice mom trying save a buck for her family, but still invest in worthy product, while helping others do the same.
Out of over 2500 comments this is the realest comment of them all! Thank you! Im just sharing my opinion and trying to help people not waste a dollar, even if it is $1, its mine. Much love to you, thank you for watching and for the comment!
I, agree with you a100%
0n these products....
I hate the toilet blue color
doesn't last at all,
blue for 3. day's....
Crappy......

Shirley Hughes mine lasted almost a whole month with regular use
copal nopallintzin too**
Faith Evans mixed with America Ferrara
Oh wow!!! She does. Now I can't unsee Faith or America. lolol
She looks like Jordin Sparks too!
Yes! she looks like they had a baby together. Lol. Beautiful!
jordin sparks, faith evans, rosie perez, and faith evans. she's gorgeous.
I LOVE Faith Evans! I walked to Never Let You Go at my wedding! It will be 15 years this coming March! Yay!💍
I love the pink razors at dollar tree. They stay sharp so long. I've been buying them from there for about 8 years now.
Ambers' Blessed I bought some from their and they gave me cuts so I had about two strip on my leg shaved
Magestic Unicorn I got cut the first time but it was all my fault because I was new to shaving so I was doing it so rough and fast. Never had a problem again when I started to go slow and use soap with running water.
Ambers' Blessed for me the Men's blue razors I can reuse around three times for such close sexy smooth legs
Sandra McBee whatever does the job right :) I actually just started using different pink razors from dollar tree that look like the men's razors.
Ambers' Blessed
I disagree with you about the batteries. The Sunbeam batteries work well for light use. Wireless mouse, flashlight, tv remote controls. But for a video game system remote, absolutely not.
I love the batteries I use them on my sons toys and remotes
It's a DOLLAR Store!!! We know what we are buying!!!
I've really haven't had any problems with Dollar Tree's products. But the buyers already know what they are getting and paying for. Some people only have a few bucks on them so dollar tree is the next best thing. And as my mommy use too tell me you get want you paid for.
you're buying cancer
@@antoinettebush1574 Exactly! And sometimes I am surprised at the things I get from the dollar tree and last longer than something that cost me more than a dollar. I had bought some stuff she mentioned and I still re-purchase them. I luv going to dollar tree lol.
My headphones broke in my phone from the dollar store 😑
Thank u
I think the 6six blade razors from Dollar tree are awesome, u get two for a buck in pink or blue
I love it too. I also love the charger me and my kids all use it never had a issue !!!
+Breakup2Makeup Agreed. They are super-sharp, like those surgical razors in the hospital. Shave is super-close!
+Breakup2Makeup You would know. I love your hauls.
+Breakup2Makeup the 6 blade razors are amazing from there....they work perfect....i work there so i buy them everytime we get them in just to have extras.
+chinafakeeggs
yes! one literally burned a whole in my couch! I am so lucky I was there to put it out quickly!!
5 things to buy from dollar tree that are amazing and work!
-la colors pressed powder: in the summer its all i use as foundation
-la colors lipsticks: reapplication is rare and they are highly pigmented
-nyc (new york colors): lipsticks, they rock!!
-teen spirit deodorants: they smell so good
-la colors liquid eyeliner and la colors khol automatic eyeliner: they work just as good as sephora. when i worked there i tried everything and then when i worked at dollar tree i found all kinds of other makeup that was just as good for 90% lower than sephora cost.
Melody Erin I agree I like alot of their make up and I also use high end kind.
Melody Erin I agree I like alot of their make up and I also use high end kind.
Melody Erin Oh I know the Sephora & Ulta products are rediculously overpriced. It's all in the name.😒
I agree so much with the La colors eye shadows. I bought Younique eye pigment and what a waste. The La colors I bought as play make up for my granddaughter was way better and lasts all day!!
Melody Erin thanks good to know.
I think the "L.A's Awesome" cleaning products are quite good, especially the yellow concentrated multi-purpose cleaner. Also the laundry pre-spray is good as well as the liquid laundry soap!
I buy the bleach, pre wash and books!
Yes!!! The magic yellow liquid! The laundry detergent is not bad either but not good for clothes that need dirt or baby poo lifted because I think it contains softener in it. (Which creates a slight waterproof film that traps dirt in yet creates fabric diaper leakage)
No the laundry detergent is bad! Does not get your laundry clean. The yellow concentrated liquid is good
@@rosan727 Well, I've been using it for years and have had no trouble with it. But I'm a senior who doesn't get my clothes very dirty. Maybe it's different for men who do physical labor jobs or families with kids who play outside & get grimy.
There needs to be an update video. The Dollar Tree has the five blade razors that are pure gold. Zero irritation and you get about six of them. They're just as good as Venus or Gillette.
I agree with u girl
So true !
I always buy the Melatonin , paper towels , anything craft related lol
whaa? is this still true?
@@christinefelix1101 what are the odds I’m wondering this too!
Yeal I agree. Two pieces package look like big plastic design is smooth feel and no cut. Only down side is they pron to rust.
the cheese don't melt LMAO
Dee T. You are absolutely correct!! I discovered that about four or five years ago. I did not have the patience to wait in a long line at the local Food Lion, so I went into the Dollar Tree next door. Need I say how big of a mistake that was!! I had to throw out the macaroni and start from scratch!!! I'll take the long lines at the grocery store any day over Dollar Tree cheese!! Lesson learned.
+Mrs Johnson mine was a pan full of lasagna and the cheese never melted. i was almost to tears. Also the cheese didn't come from the dollar store
I've no idea what that crap was. Cheese flavored and all.
Dee T.
Used To Love You that was awful your pan of lasagna went to waste. But we live and learn something new everyday.
A lot of Dollar Trees sell Panasonic batteries and Bic Razors.
LadyStephyLynn Bic Men's razors are perfect for legs!
BIC razors can be good if they are the more detail ones.
I think she's right on a few things. Karen
Ours sell Panasonic like 4 or 6 packs but they are zinc carbon and not very good but any alkaline battery should be good i have tested several and the sunbeam alkalines are as good as enegerizer
Mine has a 2 pack of gillette and a 5 pack of barbasol razors i buy the barbasol and they do everything
Ive bought multiple chargers from dollar tree. Usually when i need one last minute. Good for using in the car. Good for people on a budget.
ah: it's apples fault that Her iPhone charger from Dollar tree breaks because Apple products are designed to break third party products unlike Windows or Android which are marketed on the concept of plugging in random things.
I have a phone charger from there and it still lasting over 6 years
Jessica Powers wow!
Jessica Powers I agree! I have a 10ft charging cord that is "beefed up" with a material-like liner on the outside of the cord, and that thing has lasted almost 6 months! Plus we plug it in the charger in the car and it reaches the kids in the back seat on long trips!!!
I've had mine for over a year too. Works just fine. 😊
Me too lol
That’s awesome, I always have bad luck with cheap chargers, the last one I bought from the dollar store.. literally worked for 2 days 😐
lol the funny thing is I buy the toys from the dollar tree expecting they will not last, but they usually outlive the expensive things from walmart...
Me TU totally agree! I bought my daughter a pair of those old school comedy glasses with the spring eyeballs and those suckers are still in the game! lol I thought they'd break after a day but here we are a month later...
Yes they do..
shanghaiq
Me TU umm I've bought both Wal-Mart toys and dollar tree toys... dollar tree toys def don't last compared to any other brand lol
I spent six dollars for two water guns from Wal-Mart and they leaked terribly. Threw away, bought two $1 water guns from $tree and they out performed incredibly, shot about 15ft. was great.
I usually only buy gift bags, tissue paper, and helium-filled balloons at Dollar Tree.
Five Below got some good ass stuff though 😂 especially their chargers!
They chargers r life i gotta 10ft one
Chargers
Razors
Batteries
Sun dish detergent
Toys
You're welcome👍🏾
Cheese
I was gonna do the same thing because i hate having to wait.
billups springer a
right. I guess I am impatient. I like to get straight to the point
billups springer don't forget the sun washing powder that comes in the box.
I've never left a comment on UA-cam before but after watching this video I felt the need to share 😊
I'm a single mom with 2 boys in their early 20's who love their video games and I can relate to the battery issue. This is what I did I went to Walmart and bought an energizer rechargeable pack it came with the charger and 4 batteries.. Yes it cost about $25 here in Canada but he always has batteries and when 2 die he can charge the other 2 so he never runs out. Hope it helps all of you!
Thank you Cher for the comment! I need to bite the bullet and buy the rechargeable, it would be much easier. Thanks for watching -hugs
I used to love the squirt bottles for putting in water for misting plants & my frogs or mixing up my own cleaning products, but lately they all either don't work or break very quickly. For cleaning product squirt bottles, I've cleaning & re-used the squirt tops from empty cleaning sprays. But, this was really annoying when it happened on the squirting tops for my clean water misters.
The things that I do not buy are the plastic cups,or storage containers.I like them for storing things like rice, cereals, etc ,however I had to toss them after I discovered they are not BPA free! If you look carefully there are very few items that are BPA free in the store.
Thank you for your video.
i always buy razors from the dollar tree and never had any problems
Crystal Beaulieu I also have found good razors from dollar tree.. The 2 pk 6 blade ones
Join the dollar shave club
Same.
Crystal Beaulieu same
Crystal Beaulieu I haven't either. It all depends on peoples skin I guess. I get them all the time
Here is my comment.. I am so sad that some people have to buy all the things you listed (and I so much agree), HOWEVER in my town of 123,000 people we have grocery / food deserts.. Many people have to buy the fake cheese and all the crap food. I don't know the answer but they would NOT have food if it was not for Dollar Tree and I have to commend them for that. Most people I see shopping there don't have transportation.. We should feel lucky with our crappy dollar tree purchases. Lets talk about what Dollar Tree really does for our population if we could. You don't have to shop there and neither do I but many people live from Dollar Tree and for that I am thankful.
+tisha toone I do agree with you that Dollar Tree is a place to provide food for those who need to spend even an extra 25c saving for something else. I love DT since I don't have much money yet and been loving it since starting college. And truthfully, that fake cheese is terrible, but sometimes when I crave for a cheese taste, I will bite the bullet to buy it. Though now, they have an option for people to buy real cheese just in smaller portion. It is still a great saving because cheese are so expensive in other store.
Hey ladies check out my channel and subscribe thanks 😘
i get most of my grocery items from a liquidation store. like 25 cent organic avocados or 25 cent lettuce romaine. pretty much all their fresh stuff is dirt cheap and healthy items too. almost all towns have at least one of those around. i feed fam of 5 on 25 bucks a month. i cant afford to shop at DT or Walmart( as in their stuff, even "brand" names are made way cheaper version which gets u to keep buying stuff from there.) most of the stuff you can get for less then a dollar at major grocery stores. people think they're getting a deal when in fact they're wasting more of their money. people need to stop being lazy and cry victim. our government offers amazing assistance to any one in need. peole just dont want to take responsibility.
+Prairiepickingirls You are right. Thank you for pointing this out
+picframe000 I never heard of a store like that where I am at.... wish I did
Sometimes you can get the same things at Walmart for 79 or 89 cents. They round everything up (or down) to fit their "everything is a dollar" price. And when things get more expensive, they just put fewer of them in the box. I remember when you got 12 Brillo pads for a dollar. Then it was 10. Now it is 8.
If you read the labels on cheese at any store you'll find that "imitation" cheese is fairly common (mostly individual singles). Yuck 🤢
i worked at dollar tree for 3 years, and i freaking LOVE the noxema razors. i dont work there any more bc its an awful company to work for, but i still purchase the noxema razors. they last so long for me and the noxema moisture strip always gives me smooth skin. im talking legs arms and bikini area. i always recommended them to customers. maybe your skin is just not fond of noxema since everyones skin is differant. the chargers are shit as normally all the electronics are lol.
armpits * lol
The nocxema razors are really slept on.. they're the best I've ever had
I'M TYPING IN CAPS SO YOU'LL SEE THIS COMMENT:
PLEASE do yourself a favor and invest in the rechargeable Duracell/Energizer batteries! The set that comes with a charger and one extra 8 pack of rechargeable batteries. I have been using the same rechargeable set for 5 years now- I haven't purchased batteries for FIVE YEARS. (I use mine in the Xbox controller and the remote.) It's so worth it!
Just keep a constant set in rotation on the charger. They come in AA and AAA!
I agree. That's what I do for my controllers, remotes and automatic air fresheners.
I was looking for this comment before I commented the same thing. Wholeheartedly agree. Rechargeable batteries are a saver and you can buy them in AAA as well as AA.
I love the rechargeable batteries! saves us a ton of money!
and saves the environment you should see me now I only buy reusable and rechargable
1. I'm sorry that not everyone is in a good financial situation and have to buy from the dollar store
2. I have used the same dollar tree charger for my burner phone since 2014 and I bought both a 3ft and a 10ft iPhone charger from 5below last July and it still works perfectly
I have heard about the batteries on other videos but I've never had any problems. I use the dollar store batteries in all my smoke alarms and they last well over a year.
Miss Gaile: We get them for our remotes, clocks & smoke alarms. It's all worked out just fine for us.
Miss Gaile They should last MUCH longer than that. My Duracells last about 4 years in my smoke alarms. Cheap batteries SUCK and they end up costing more.
To each their own
I also use the batteries and they seem to work as well as higher priced ones that I get from Walgreens.
I always use razors from dollar tree
I'm broke ... I think they work ok
Lil Mermaid i always use dollar tree razors cords and batteries so i dont get this lol. they sell six bladed razors thats what my husband and i use and friends. we are on such a budget we use mostly everything there but lotions lol
Lil Mermaid me too
me2
CGW 1953 same!
I love the dollar tree stores.... I live from paycheck to paycheck from a minimum wage employee, and sometimes it is hard to spend an extra dollar for some things to buy and enjoy..... but the thing that I will never buy at the dollar tree stores is toilet paper and paper towels there.... they are so cheap and it tears easily..... but other than that I love my dollar stores around by me..... have a good day all
+dana baljko I totally get it Dana! We are paycheck to paycheck too. The hopes for this video is to spread the word, so we dont have to waste what little money we do have on some of the horrible items DT sells. Sometimes the cheap comes out more expensive, just like the toilet paper! I feel like when I buy it, I just run right out of it lol Thanks fo watching -hugs
+Sensational Finds thanks for replying back to me..... :)
+dana baljko No problem! Thanks for commenting to me!!
+Sensational Finds can you make more videos like this
+dana baljko i love dollar tree toilet paper doesn't rip easily and its a lot
my best kept secret: the dollar store razors are fine- with barbasol shaving cream that's also sold there. it has a lightweight whipped cream consistency but definitely provides that barrier of protection. after realizing this $2 combo, i havent bought a $20 razorhwad replacement pack in over a year!
-Dollar tree queen 😋
I buy the cords because I trash them so fast that it is not worth buying a 12 dollar cord I'm just going to break in 3 weeks.
suzie seabee I'm the same way. I am hard on chargers no matter what. Truthfully. sometimes a dollar or $2 is all I have and pay day is still 3 days away.
Susie CB you're stupid
You can't get my name right, who's stupid?
suzie seabee I go thru them pretty quick also.
Invest in a battery charger trust me best investment you'll ever make
Margareth Louis 100% correct
Rebecca Adams agree
yass I spent 20 dollars on them 3 years ago and haven't bought any since sure they take longer to charge but that's why I rotate them.
I agree
Eve Maxwell yup. I bought a charger and an 8 pack of rechargeable batteries and I am so happy. I hate creating dead batteries.
always read the packaging, dollar store batteries are advertised as being for low power, low use device like a tv remote.
Right! I never noticed that but the tv remote is one of the things I use them for, and they're great for that
I've been on and off with watching your channel and I love your reviews on the Dollar tree, and it's how I found out about some products that I would get from there now.
Also now, I'm actually *working* at the local dollar tree near me and I honestly love it tbh.
I bought several things from dollar tree that I been happy with. Shavers, tampons, pads, shaving creams, spoons, plastic cups,chips,eggs,ect... Your so right about batteries,chargers,ect...
With razors I think it depends. If you have thick, dark, or course hair, probably going to need something better than what you get from the dollar tree. I have been buying the pink ones from there for years with no problems, but I have light thin hair. They work good for me.
Jenna King I've bought bic razors at the dollar tree before, they don't carry them all the time but about every 6 months I see them at one of the dollar tree stores in Sacramento.
Jenna King useful to know. I have thick, course, dark hair so I have to buy the nice razors from walmart. I love shopping at the dollar tree, but some things I won't get there. Electronic or essential wise, something's last better for me when more money is put into it. I do buy my tape and stuff like that at the dollar tree, but I wouldn't buy chords. That's just me.
Lol the sun doesn't work had my wife about to file for a divorce. .now I buy dawn
Yes!! ULTRA Dawn lol That and Peter Pan peanut butter are something I won't skimp on
OMG!!!!! SUN IS SUCH A HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!!!
lol...
+Crystal Williams ikr!! crap, 4sure..😕
😂😂😂😂
don't buy thoses cheap tools or the long spoons
It beats going to Dollar Tree and going to 7-Eleven to get your drinks and snacks
You mean "Going to Dollar Tree beats going to 7-Eleven..."
The lotions and creams are too runny and not emollient enough.
Try the Udderly Smooth hand cream, in a short (2oz), white tube with black cow spots and red writing and trim. Look mostly for the red on white. Not medicated, so much, but works wonderfully as a top-level everyday lotion.
Get the Creamy Petroleum. This is the only lotion my famoly uses. everyone always says I have the good lotion and are SHOCKED it's from DT.
The dermasil lotion is awesome!! I use i on my face everyday
be careful of any cosmetics- they may be from china, and they're not reliable.
i buy what i don't need to use on my face or for cleaning, or hygiene.
later!
Anonymous Anonymous + the dermasil cream In a tube is good
I love the batteries! For me they last a while on the things I use them for. Batteries are so overpriced anyway! I cringe at the price of them. 😬
+TheFrugalCraftyMama I think batteries from DT are great for small little things like TV remote, small flashlight...Not a good idea to operate big items since they usually required more voltage and longer battery life.
+sweetpuppy120489 I use the high draining device batteries for my 200 lumen flashlight. low draining batteries suck. do not buy those.
+The Smart Budget Channel I need to pay closer attention to that! Thanks for sharing! I hate spending a ton on batteries lol
+Sensational Finds me too. my kids have a Nintendo Wii. lol.
I want the wii so bad and Im sure my boys would love it too lol
I would recommend that people stay away from the small flat steaks. My dad loves them and I even recorded my local news when they did a story on the steaks and he still buys them. They found out that they were mostly fillers and it would be cheaper to go and buy a steak at your regular grocery store. Another thing that I don't buy very often anymore is the little hanging bags of candy. I thought that I was getting a good deal in the beginning but if you check the weight it would take a minimum of 3 bags to equal 1 in Walmart.
We use Dollar Shave club, the executive pack and they are the best razors I've ever used. You get 4 cartridges per month, we use half per month. Comes with a handle and free sample of AMAZING shave butter.
I think all this depends on where your located, depending on where you are on what brand of items they have to my niece lives 2 counties over and our stuff is different here then where she is...
Glenda Quarels
I've bought the Sunbeam and Panasonic Alkaline AA and AAA batteries and they worked very well, about as good as Rayovac, CVS and Walgreens store brand. Just don't buy any brand of "SUPER HEAVY DUTY" carbon zinc batteries! They dont last long and may leak when they start losing energy in a toy or flashlight. And my Dollar Tree is now selling Sargento shredded cheddar cheese, and its super-tasty, great for tacos and chili.
wildbilltexas I love the Sunbeam batteries. Last forever for me!
wildbilltexas the sunbeam batteries blow. bought so many 8 packs from dollar store here in pa. most 9f the time your luck to get 2 batteries to work half decent out of the 8 pack. I'll never buy them batteries again. it's energizer batteries or none for this guy
wildbilltexas I use the sunbeam batteries for my camera and Xbox remote
You need to buy the Alkaline batteries in the 4 packs, not the Super Heavy Duty in the 8 pack.
wildbilltexas I buy the 8 packs and they last a long time
One sub closer to that 50K mama~good for you AND me! This is an AWESOME channel, and I will be sharing it with absolutely everyone I know=) This is exactly the kind of channel that will continue to grow bigger and faster because you are honestly talking about stuff that appeals to way more of us than not, and also because YOU are relateable. Not trying to be superior~which is why you are~and it's obvious that you care about how others are living too~thanks for taking the time to make these posts, and may God bless your efforts! XO~ Samantha in AZ
if you see the salon selectives jar with a bright pink jar and black top. it's a hair treatment/restoring product. it's almost as good as the treatments in the salon for dryness like I get on the ends from highlighting and my bestie that has thick African hair it makes her hair so soft. you just leave it on for an hour like the treatments at the salon under a shower cap while watching TV or reading..
I totally agree with the Sun dish detergent. That stuff does not sud.
Krystal Goethe exactly
Why buy sun detergent when they have Dawn there smh lol
Amour’ luxe her Dollar Tree stores are probably like the ones here in Chicago. The Dawn and Palmolive dish liquids are always the first to go lol
NEVER BUY THE LAUNDRY BASKETS. They break so easily snd then they are sharp and cut the hell out of your hands
Rebecca Ingram I love my dollar tree baskets! I bought 3 a year ago and only one has broken. It happened when I was showing my friend how awesome they were and how they don't break 😂
I remember the dollar "steaks" I didn't dare try them they just looked sickly lol
I also like the Salon Selectives hair spray and mousse. And Salon Selectives is also certified cruelty free. Also, if buying dog or cat treats from Dollar Tree, read the label and make sure they don't come from China. The Canine Carryouts brand is made in USA and the treats are soft so they can be given to elderly dogs or dogs that can't have hard treats.
My charger from there works better then the 20 dollar one i bought,
+Jazi Hughey Same here, in a pinch I bought one of their charger cords, I have had that thing for 2 years now, just bought 2 more.
+Misty Foster I bought one that has nylon covering on it and it's the most durable one ever!
Mine too
I have to agree I think it is just how you treat your charger! My favorite is from 5 below! I bought a 25 dollar name brand and one from dollar tree , one from 5 below, guess what dollar tree and 5 below are still working , the 25 dollar one lasted one month! Plus I think the flat cords work best, I have to get those because one of my cats won't chew on those or the cotton ones plus these seem to last longer!
YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!! Along with your list I would add any meat products, of course the other dish detergents (generic) suck, and I have noticed pens, markers, and sharpies also dry up so fast. Thanks for notifying people of this. It is NOT a case of "Oh, it's just a dollar, who cares.". Not to me, because you end up spending so much more when things clunk out on you. I have to end with this- the electronics you mentioned- I have actually gotten home and found theynever work from the get go. Not even once. And the gas and time it would take to return it is not worth it- and that is what they count on. THIS is how they make their money.
I've been happily using the Dollar Tree dish soap for years.
I only buy Dawn detergent because it is so concentrated and one of the best degreasers. You can use it as a pretreatment and stain remover for laundry and wash your car and the best thing is Dawn is gentle on your hands. The only other comparable dish detergent I found is Target's up&up free and clear.
Do you know that the items from the Dollar Tree have been tested by the Food and Drug Administration just like other products if there are problems with recalls they will be pulled also. Even toys. There are few victims that are recommended by FDA, Dollar Tree usually sells items that other stores have overstocked.
Haruhi... Thanks !!! I didn't know that.
I totally agree with everything you said! I have had my share of major scores from dollar tree too - coloring books (my son goes through them like water), stickers (have found some great stickers - aim for the licensed character ones they are better) wet n wild makeup brushes, dish brushes, party paper goods, gift wrap/tissue/gift bags/greeting cards. Especially the last catagory of stuff - I very rarely buy gift wrap products at Walmart or target because I can get just as nice at dollar tree and why do I want to spend $10 for all of that when I can go to dollar tree and spend 2.50 and put the rest towards the gift? lol :).
What do u spend .50 at the dollar store for?? I wanna shop where u shop if they got .50 items!!
+EMMA LOVE hahahaha :). Their greeting cards are 2/$1 so between the gift bag/tissue and a card - that's how I figured $2.50 :). But I never buy just one card - I always have so many I have to get for Mother's Day/Father's Day/birthdays/etc so I'm always going in and buying 4-6 at a time. Also nice to just go in and buy a small stash of thank you cards and birthday cards because you can always use them :)
+choirkitty Most of the greeting cards are $1. I've very RARELY seen the cards under $1. Now at the Dollar General Store they have cards 2/$1!! But ive never seen the greeting cards at the Dollar Tree near me. I'm not saying that you're lying, I'm just saying that at my store I've always paid $1 for cards. The other really bad product is the makeup remover wipes. OMG!! They are TERRIBLE!! Doesn't get the makeup off, but takes half of your facial skin with it! HORRIBLE!! Also toilet paper. Enough said!
+april goff maybe the selection varies store to store but I've always purchased greeting cards 2/$1 and I've shopped at dollar tree for 20 years
choirkitty Maybe. I'm in Tn. Where are you?
I've bought a charger from the dollar store and it messed up my batter 😩
I live in Japan, we don't have Dollar Tree but we do have an awesome dollar store chain called Daiso. I buy aluminum foil, ziplock(-style) bags, trash bags, liners for the food garbage holder (we have to throw away food garbage seperately here, it gets composted by the city) etc at Daiso. But their plastic wrap sucks so bad, I always buy name brand instead. Same goes for toilet paper and paper towels, you can get 4 rolls of paper towels for $1.30 at a regular store, but only 1 for a dollar at Daiso.
i mistakenly put my vibrator in the laundromat washer with dollar tree batteries. it still worked when it came out lol
Lakeshia Jones 😳😂
Leikili H
😂😂😂😂
Lakeshia Jones "What's that banging around... oh OOPS!!" :'D
kwpp7 hahahaha... that was a good one, made me laugh anyway :)
Rechargeable batteries are all we use especially for video game controllers. I buy them on sale and have now stocker up to the point I haven't needed AA batteries in years, and the charger is quick and charges 4 at a time. I'll use regular batteries in tv remotes bc those last years but never for the video games or electronics.
like all stores the Dollar Tree sell some good items and some not-so-good items you just have to be aware of what you're buying
Egg Zactly
JANK !!!! This is the first time I have seen you... LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! You are my favorite... omgosh. Been watching DT videos forever and they are all the same. Yours are so thoughtful and sincere. You are a smart, beautiful lady. Looking forward to watching more! Thanks for the hard work.
What do you expect for a dollar?
I expect food
I actually didn't expect much but they do have a lot of great products such as many great brands from cleaning to beauty to organization. To me it's a steal cause I buy so much from them and I spend a few bucks while at Target or even Walmart and don't even let me talk tj max/home goods would be more then 50 close to 100 bucks so yeah in the end Dollar Tree surprises me and now I do expect a lot goodness form them..
100 pennies
I buy batteries at the dollar tree. They last about a month so in my opinion spending $1 a month is better than spending $5 at a time.
Lindsey Willis Aint that that the truth
Lindsey Willis I agree name brand batteries May last twice as long but they cost 5 times as much.
the little Dawn from Dollar Tree is worth more than the BIG Sun detergent. Sun doesn't bubble. Dawn is also in concentrate at Dollar Tree and the tiniest bit works wonders
I'm probably gonna be broke as an adult and I'm gonna buy everything from the dollar store
One thing I bought from the Dollar Tree I will never ever buy again is coffee! It was the worst coffee I ever tried!
+Julie A. Bolduc OH, GROSS. I would never buy coffee there, either, unless it were a familiar brand like Folgers or Starbucks, but those more than likely won't be found in the Dollar Tree anyway.
+Julie A. Bolduc oh yeah i will agree with that. i was desperate and poor one time and bought coffee there and OMG! it was awful! never again.
I agree. I bought a jar of instant coffee from the dollar tree last week and I ended up only getting 3 cups of coffee out of it because I had to fill my mug up halfway with the coffee crystals in order for it to be semi drinkable and not taste like coffee that was watered down with dirty dish water
+Julie A. Bolduc Krogers (King Soopers) has a store brand of coffee, about $3 cheaper and I like it better than Folgers. fyi I was hesitant at first, but glad I tried it
My nearest Krogers is about 600 miles away. :) I usually buy my coffee from Wal-Mart. I prefer Folgers or Maxwell House for my regular every day coffee.
I highly recommend buying rechargeable batteries for your son's xbox. I've had my 4 pack for about 2 years and I'm only just now needing to replace them. Hope this helps! 😀
This is so late but try the Amazon batteries in bulk
i would stay away from any food items from the dollar tree. one time we bought bacon and when we tried to fry it, it just disinterested literally.
Actually I have earbuds from the dollar store and it works pretty well and hasn't broke after a year.
yeah right!
bullshit
+nltcraze +haytnas maybe my dollar store is better than yours!
+Lara Patel a year though? thats absurd! My headphones were making crackling sounds as soon as i put em in! Maybe you got like reject name brand earphones and not generic ones...
Me too 😁
I buy my batteries from dollar tree without an issue. I do agree about the Sun Dish soap it isnt great for dishes but fantastic for making kids bubbles to blow.
The flat screen tv micro towel and cleaner....love the stuff.
I love my Dollar Tree!!
Thank you for the great information. I recommend getting rechargeable batteries such as those from Costco. It is an up front cost but they last a long time (haven't had any wear out or leak!). Much cheaper in the long run.
I do by the diabetic socks there. Do they last like the ones elsewhere, no, but they are a dollar and elsewhere they are $6-$8. 6-8 pairs do last much longer than 1 pair of the expensive ones, therefore making it a good deal. I do try and be careful with them, such as, I try not to use tons of bleach. So, if I am going to walk around in the garage or patio, some where they will get dirty, I put on some slippers or change my socks to a dark pair, so I don't get the white, diabetic socks so dirty that I have to use a tone of bleach. I think these products seem to work for some and not for others, it's a lot of personal opinion and trial and error. Thank you for your review, the next time I am on the fence about buying something, I will remember your video. 😊
Samantha Stimpson I totally agree!!! my hubby has lots of them & I also agree, it's easier & cheaper to buy several pair of them than the others that are $6+ pair...and, they actually do last good....if they tear up, just trash & get more...still cheaper than the others...love them!!

Samantha Stimpson
Have you tried the diabetic lotion at Dollar Tree?
I'm curious to see how it works. I agree about the socks though.
you're wrong about the batteries the alkaline batteries are as good as ever ready! not as good as Duracell!
Robert Hughes i agree. my place for batteries
Check dates
I shave my kitty with dollar tree razors never had an issue.
Lol🤣🤣
gross
From the 5 dollar store I bought spalife face masks, idk if I should use it or not because,if it doesn't work I will be super disappointed.
The noxema ones are great. But those $1 razors will cut up your legs like Edward scissorhands.
La Original You should try a razor club. I use defender razors they are amazing and my skin is really sensitive so. Plus I'm really picky too. The cheap ones don't last. For $8 you get 4 cartridges. Only have to buy the handle once for $5. www.defenderrazor.com
Been there.
La Original the Noxema ones always kill my skin
on batteries you got to buy the "high draining" device batteries. do not buy the "low draining" device batteries. huge difference...
I get razors and they do okay. I got a spatula of all things and a few months later it is still good. Foil, hand held mirror. I almost got a small cookie baking sheet but I wanted a review like this to refer too. I got a mop and broom there. The mop is basically a sponge, but it does what I want. I only need to mop a little. I wouldn't get them for larger tougher jobs. Can't put high expectations on Dollar Tree stuff.
I was wondering is the box candy okay? We buy it before going to the movies which sales the same boxes for $4 each. Ticket prices are high enough. Even popcorn is outrageous.
I liked the one about only buying the phone chargers if you're running from the police😂!!!
Sandra Truster 😂😂😂
I don't buy detergent, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, jewelry, body wash, or lotions unless they are name brands. I do tend to look out for name brand products when I go there especially toothpaste, brushes and make-up. Stationary items are also good deals. Some cleaning products work really well also even though generic. For 2016 I plan on doing a lot of thrifting and garage sales. Love looking for bargains! I'm addicted, lol!
yes!! I love how dollar tree gets name brand things in . I was just there earlier today and I saw that they had iced coffee made with real almond milk. I forgot the brand but I picked up a bunch for my brother . he works at Walgreen's and they sell these for around $4 each . their his favorite too. also crest 3d white toothpaste,Essie nail products, and elf beauty products. I even buy my acne products there because they work 100% faster and better than the $60 kits .
Elayna Barrios I'll have to check that coffee out! Thanks ladies!
judy Osborne it is in a yellow small carton and it is made in I wanna say Sweden but I am not sure.
Hey check out my channel and subscribe please thanks. 😘
+judy Osborne Yeah, I bought some body wash that I bought just to refill my hand soap container in the bathroom. It was mostly water. Had to through it out.
i use the dollar tree razors ... they work fine for me . i guess i just dont have sensitive skin but i can literally use any type of razor with no irritation
ok I did not see acne face wash can I by that well I bought it but am too scared to use it
Why don't you use rechargeable batteries instead
Wait that's a thing and where can I get them?!
+Supergurl 97 At Walmart.. I have the Energizer brand and with the package comes the charger and 4 batteries. You find them in the cameras and memory chips area...
Exactly what I was wondering! Save a crap ton of money!
Supergurl 97 You live under a rock don't you? 😀
Be especially careful with the toys everyone! When the parts break off they can be dangerous for pets 😞
Ryn Ash oh dear. did something happen to your pet
Ryn Ash And for God's sake everyone, please do NOT apply the cheap flea meds they sell!! People's dogs and cats have literally gone into convulsions and/or died from that stuff! No Hartz brand, either!
You have to watch toothpaste. In some of the dollar tree and cheap stores you aren't getting the "same" as you would at a higher price. It taste different. But I've got those three side poster board for science projects at the dollar store and greeting cards. When you need a card for a kid's birthday or a general hi can't beat the choices for 50 cents.
Well the alkaline batteries, I use in my insulin pump, they last as long as the name brand. An insulin pump is a high drainer, so I was surprised when they lasted long, but I just invested in rechargeable batteries. No $$$ cheese plz, great review
you have to get the red and black batteries. on the package it tells you its for high draining devices vs the red and white ones
yea the batteries are kind of crappie but I still buy em. lol. The Dermacel lotion is good quality.
Deemacel lotion yes I buy a lot
I've never had a problem with chargers from the dollar tree, I bought a micro-USB one to power a lighted-mirror and its been going strong a few years now!
if you buy frozen or refrigerated food do not buy it from the DollarTree while shopping there this week I noticed a new shipment just sitting next to the frozen food case in the box some where opened food items but the food was not being put in the case in any real hurry It made me think twice about what they were doing.
