After a hard lesson I'll buy once instead of crying twice with the added benefit of commonality of both parts and operation. ALP never gave me a reason to look elsewhere and doing so cost me. I'm still happy to see another offering and hope Adaptiv finds great success.

I don't get why you'd want one for a bike. Use your eyes to spot trouble, and if you're that concerned with getting pulled over, it's easy enough to escape.
Thanks for the video and review. I've got the system installed on my Durango and I'm not getting a parking beacon from the Center Mass. Is the CM module supposed to give parking beacon? Thank You
It's literally a non-issue. They're considered a permanent installation. If for some reason you want to change the heads, running the harnesses is simple.
I agree with Macht on this one. Yes, it would be highly unlikely that you would have to uninstall but if you do get a stonechip, end up in a collision or whatever, then you'll want to replace the damaged sensor. Not all installations are going to be simple if you want to make it look like a clean factory installation, such as unfurling the electrical tape around convoluted tubing, harnesses, grommets with self-amalgamating tape, etc. So yeah, a quick disconnect is definitely a must as far as I'm concerned.
you can hack both with a bit of injenuity. if your dash mounted radar detector goes off then it is front . if it does not then it is rear (as long as your detector is good at seeing laser like the V1) laser ID can also be hacked with a detector like the R8 that can tell you which laser you are getting shot with
Hey Vortex which do you think jams better the new TMG A17 that is out now or the latest TPX jammer both for front protection against the dragoneyes on a 2016 Honda accord? I saw a test on the veilguy testing the new TMG A17 with the VPR head and it looked to do pretty well, but his test of the TPX did very well too.
There haven’t been many good independent comparison tests yet. I just got an A17 a few days ago, but I probably won’t get to laser testing until later this summer sometime. No plans or date set yet.
@@VortexRadar ok I would be very interested to see how well it performs in your test. Looking forward to the results. Maybe you can test it and the TPX at the same time to see which has less punch-throughs on all the different dragoneye guns you have. :)

would it be possible to just install the entire system under hood and rely on radar detector for alerts? of main unit under hood and run only thr remote into cab?
system is cheap enough that you can problaly just buy a second cpu and have 1 in the back by itself if rear is a real threat in your area. added benefit is that this way you could have 5 in the front and 5 in the back as the system seems to fire all heads at the same time.
Sorry I’m just trying to get clarity. Would you not recommend it for BC because of the poor rear performance or the gaps in the Dragon eye protection in front. I’ve never had issues with being lasered from behind.
In Alberta there’s a ton of rear DragonEye which is a weakness of the system. I’m not as familiar with BC tactics off the top of my head, but you can ask fellow Canadians on the forums.
@@VortexRadar thanks....ya they do hang out occasionally on onramps and get people from behind but I've never really seen it as a big issue or very common. From my experience it's rare. @@gbhatti4072no not yet. I’m saving / undecided. Although some other sites have some recent reviews that are very good. My plan is to buy it this year but also maybe considering the Uniden system with the whole 9 yards.
Why would you want this system to shut down after it jammed a cops lazer? Is it intended to hide it from the cops in states like Virginia where these things aren't allowed?
If you slow down quickly while it's jamming and then shut it off the cop gets a reading of your slowed down speed. If it isn't shut off they don't get a reading at all which is very suspicious and can get you pulled over. If you are in a banned area then you are cooked. People that don't shut off the jammer quickly after getting hit have caused jammers to become illegal in some states... So to keep it from being obvious you are using a hammer just slow down fast and shut it off. You don't get a ticket and they don't know you jammed them.

No quick disconnects to the heads is the real killer.
