Game needs the following in my opinion:
Faction Diplomacy - Non aggression, alliances, trade agreement etc.
Unit overhauls (lots of newer armours are still unused)
Additional armours to replace old ones or revamp old armours with updated graphics.
Companions can be hired by AI lords, meaning all clans can enlist followers as small party leaders and governors which would make the world feel a lot more alive.
Overall additions to late game content/kingdom building such as policies and culture conversion of settlements.
Relationships instead being based on individuals rather than a hivemind clan. Simply makes everyone uninteresting if they all share the same relation to you. I want to make friends and rivals with specific individuals I come across.
Better banner creator, honestly its just so lazy to have red vs blue.
These others things are not as important but still would like to see:
Desertion/Manhunter mechanics
Improvements on the fog of war system
Improved social events and tiers of tournaments ranging from local melee fights with mild rewards to Royal Tournaments hosted by the Faction Ruler which could yield great rewards.
Better companion reactions to events/actions taken by the player.
Almost everything you wrote is in Banner Kings mod.
@@tlap1508 Bannerkings is only on Nexus + Still should be base game features and I hope they do consider implementing them regardless of if its already a mod or not. Modders tend to beat the base game to many ideas. For example weather and effects in battle was originally a mod but now in Beta 1.2.0, Taleworlds is implementing their own weather system that will influence battles just like the mod did.
When I first saw bannerlord and heard they'd have the smithy I figured they'd finally have an army creator in the game.
So you could outfit troops as you wished, produce the weapons and armour, etc.
It seems the next logical step.
Sadly, devs are big piece of shits and they've ran with our money. It's been out for 3 years and it's still garbage.
Why i the hell does no one mention the extremely shallow banner customization? Or how lame all the in game kingdom banners are? And how because of this kingdoma are now just team colors? Or how the current map is awful because it rapes warband lore and also is very restrictive
I will just mention this, it is an absolute gosh-darn shame that we were promised layered siege battles with street combat and barricades, and we saw precisely NONE of that.
If you can count them fools running from the gate to the keep, a street battle lol
LOL I didn't know that but it would be amazing . How would that work though?
@@beowulfsss Many towns and castles have multiple layers of walls, many of the siege scenes have barricades/defensible positions in the streets. None of it is ever used. To have it work in the most basic way they'd just need to change spawn points and positions that the Ai can send troops to, instead defenders just spawns right by the wall or gate over and over again.
Tbh i haven't even had a keep battle in my 200+ hours of play time... i really miss those from warband
I still don't really understand why development took so long and produced so little when it was essientially exactly the same as warband, but with better graphics and less features
I think I will only return when the big packs like in Warband come or of course DLCs

This mod in very good and I hope they add a council or a meeting of war similar to a feast, but for the sake of declaring war or waging a campaign, it will be a beautiful addition, as the feast will be a happy meeting with wives, children, and friends, and the war council is a special and serious meeting

Would be very cool a mod that aim to make a war concil hosted by the ruler in his fief before going to war, where the ruler will give tasks, recommendations and set army leader before any war begin. Like the vanilla cutscene of declairing war where all the lords are around a table with a map :)
I don't even know if there is mod that let's you order armies in your kingdom as I have been looking for it. I have 5 armies and they all went to siege the same castle when my settlement is under siege.

I've been playing warbend with all these things for over a decade and I've missed them all, so your work is appriciated...
There was an option from some version of Warbend or from some mods that I've played, not sure, to change the culture of the population of the town or village and it would be nice if you can make that too for bannerlord. Also may I suggest a culture option, where there are chances of the two cultures fighting with one another, and transforming the culture or making the two different populations live in harmony would take over a year or two

Hey Artem, I wish there was a mod that rewards you and your companions skill XPs for solving quests. These rewards bypass any learning modifiers or limit. In the quest log, it should clearly be displayed that "X gained Y XP from completing this quest".

I hate those mods,not because they're bad but because it feels as if TW should have had them since the first alpha!
Would it be possible to add a sound of people cheering, singing drunkly and talking in the world map when you are near a feast?
Warband has such a special feel.

IMO, an evolving banner that grows with the character, would be best.
It is almost harvesting season!!!
Bannerlord lacks the magic of Warband, hopefully mods will restore most of it.

For some reason all the lords spawn in the ceiling during feasts.
I wish I could have that option for archers with no ammo left to join the melee group like warband had (I can't remember the name of the mod)

No they wouldn't. I've played more than 200 hours of each with no mods and loved my experiences wholesale. That's far from "dead in the water".
The deserter feature seems neat but wont it cause faction steamrolling? If every healthy losing unit in simulated battles becomes a deserter, it would seem that one faction in a war would quickly dominate with a couple of victories. or are the simulated battles only the ones you directly simulate and those between ai armies are an exception?

If you could just blend Bannerkings and Warlord. I like the warlord mod but miss the settlement management you get with Bannerkings. I look forward to the feast mod...i may be a shit lord, but i can throw one hell of a party.
You can use both mods at the same time, just disable the conflicting features for the version you favor :D

I haven't returned to Bannerlord in a year. Seeing how things haven't changed, by TaleWorlds not delivering the game they promised, I might be away for another year.
These features should've been in the game in the first place, I don't understand why the devs ignored the... (._.)
Getting knocked out after the ambush seems rough, everything else is great.. not a fan of the warband kill feed either.
If warband wasn't around bannerlord would be the best thing ever but warband has everything besides the graphics, numbers, and seiges but warbands mods are just leagues above anything bannerlord has

There a lot missing from this game it’s like they threw out the diplomacy and RPG stuff and just made a another hack and slash game warband was better at that
I wish I could get my money back from taleworls, fking 40€ scammed. 3 years later and it's still just a EA game... they just took the money and be chilling, probably fired a bunch of workers there aswell so they can keep more money for themselfs
