Looks awesome, and drives even better. Exactly what a playboy needs. BUT, @ that price, Five Ranger Raptors. One for every day of the work week. Think I'll play a lot more as a play Man.
Love the review, thanks. 1 thing that strikes me in newer "luxury" vehicles is the lack of a spare tyre. Recently I was driving in my 3 month old vehicle with 20" wheels and went through some road works at about 20-30km/h. The Tyre Pressure Monitor almost immediately went nuts. I had run over something (probably a sharp rock) and cut a 3" tear through the tread face of the tyre. This is something that NO Tyre Repair Kit (no matter how good or expensive) would be able to fix to enable driving any distance. Under these circumstances, my $450k Bentley would need to be put on a flatbed and taken to the nearest town where I would hope to have a 22" Pirelli fitted. I think it would take a few days to get the right tyre, especially if I was anywhere away from a capital city. No chance would I buy a vehicle without a spare, and in fact, I would prefer having a full size spare rather than those stupid "space savers".
Rich people don’t want to change tyres and they want the weight savings. I’ll never buy a car without a spare either (unless there comes a time where a spare isn’t an option at all on any vehicle and then I’d likely buy an extra rim/tyre).
Just loved this review of the big Bentley in the same way you do all your reviews. I would also love to see more like this, such as a G63. Urus. The big Roller. How about an Aventador?
I kindly disagree with you Paul on the quality of the 360 camera as is the same case with all brands within VW Group! Really enjoy watching all your reviews! Best car reviewer on UA-cam!
"If that's too much (AU$450 000.00) the whole Bentayaga range starts just under AU$400k" Uhm excuse me Paul lol. You know you have no choice now but to bring the Rolls Royce Cullinan as well now, you have opened that door. Great review, this Car is just perfect.
I'd buy a Bentayga if I had the money. Love it, just not that spec. Maybe I'm old school, but I want polished walnut wood and beige leather, and give me chrome trim over that silly gloss black/carbon fibre look.
Saw my first one in the metal last week, it loomed in my rear view mirror like a giant hearse. (Maybe black is not its best colour!) :) it is a lot bigger looking in the flesh, well metal/alu. :)
Good review Paul as always. Love Bentley interiors! The boot space however is disappointing for an SUV of this size at your quoted 484L. My Audi S6 mid size sedan has more capacity at 530L.
Hey Paul. It'd be cool if you did an engine start-up piece. I know it won't work with EV's but when you do V8's like this, I'd like to hear then start up!
I sat in a MY20 Bentayga First Edition - that thing was close to $500K! $485K plus onroads. Another thing: did anyone realise that the vent on the mudguard at 2:51 looks like a B?
Great review but you probably miss spoke about the piping, you pointed out stitching because that was not piping. It’s a different thing. The old classic cars have pipping quite often, my brother owned a Maserati that had it also.
it looks good to be honest this models has been around since 2017 and facelifted in 2020 as 2021 model year it looks gorgeous even in now it's five years old
I thought that funny when Paul mentioned the Lamborghini Urus as a competitor… I was shaking my head saying to myself that the Urus and the Bentayga are brothers under the metal
For a $400k+ car, $16k for safety options is a joke. It can well and truly be included for that price. So could even/consistent stitching on the door. And please stop with your sort of automatic responses when reviewing and actually provide accurate info. Almost every centre console cubby you say is nice and deep for example - that one is very shallow. I’ve seen them twice as deep. You’ll even say it’s a decent size and then put a bottle in but the lid won’t close. It’s like you just have automatic responses to some things instead of saying how they really are. Can you get 18” or 19” rims? Seriously does it not have heated/cooled seats in all 5 positions at that price!!? So is it 4WD or RWD/FWD? Urus in green is the only one to get of the 3.
I just find the $16,000 option for what are (these days) basic safety and driving features to be a true limit test of the price being more about the badge than the substance. I have a Genesis GV70 and it’s switchgear in some instances vs the Bentley is of higher quality. I buy based on value not virtue and for this reason I wouldn’t buy the Bentley but it’s better value than the Urus or Cullinan which are out of my comfort budget.
In all reality, if you're buying a Bentayga, you'd go for the W12 engine...Ultimate bragging rights! Just know that 4 more cylinders adds about another $160k to the price..
Buy a Panamera Turbo S instead. Similar boot space, faster and much better handling and braking. I think Bentley made a major error only putting rear wheel steering on the extended wheel base version. Another great review. It is so pleasing that a good Australian car review channel has finally emerged. Keep up the good work.
External design is pretty nice, but I don't quite like the tail light. When I have the funds for a car of this price range, I would rather get the Mercedez EQs. Nothing beats the hyper screen interior 😍
Guys I know a Bentley is a brand name, but nothing absolutely justifies the price of that car, when a volvo xc90 has all the tech leather seats and almost all this tech a $75k no way I will pay 400k for that car even i have no use for the money
Can't believe that they don'y hide the rear wiper under that rear spoiler, why leave it down the bottom like on every other car, or do they think it is a design feature,! (ok, I'm abusing sarcasm now!!) :) Presumably it is to save on costs! on a $450.000 car. Shocking.
Sorry All. I just dont get it! Overpriced, average looks-obviously well made with performance but everything else😬.....Is it something Top Gear use to bash around in!
What a dissapointing waste of money.... 1/2 a million dollars... the screen in the rear is small and you have to reach down to the floor to get it... $16k extra for safety... small 10 inch front screen... tiny front storage under armrest.. wow...
What a rip off!! FarQ too Bentley! Give you half a mill of my kid inheretance and then you want another $15K to give me adaptive cruise control!?? Dude, yeah naw I think I'll stick with my Merc. Thanks
i like the design language of Bentley but not a fan of the sporty look with all those carbon fiber garnishes. I feel it clashes its class and poise and pretends to be something outside its DNA.
"This is priced at just over 450K, if that's too expensive the entire Bentayga range kicks off at just under 400k thankfully" 🤣
I really don't know how Paul said this standard line with a straight face; quite the accomplishment haha
Only can be said by a journo who earns way, waaaay to much money !
Looks awesome, and drives even better. Exactly what a playboy needs. BUT, @ that price, Five Ranger Raptors. One for every day of the work week. Think I'll play a lot more as a play Man.
LOL
Yeah nah
That interior took my breath away. Absolutely stunning
Paul is da man on car reviews 🤜🤛

That screen size, paired with physical controls is perfect.
One of my favorite luxury SUVs.. Also very common in the UAE where they are used as VIP shuttles...
Why am I even watching this I even hesitate to buy a $2.5 coke... But still a great review Paul!
“If that’s too expensive” 😅 don’t ever change
Beast of a car, brilliant review 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
This red colour is really gorgeous😀🔥
Hi Paul your Channel is bar far the best Australian Channel on UA-cam james from Scotland
Just loved this review of the big Bentley in the same way you do all your reviews. I would also love to see more like this, such as a G63. Urus. The big Roller. How about an Aventador?
This car review is giving the new $160mil jackpot winner an idea on what to get 😂👍🔥💯✔️
Good to hear it's good at 200km/h. Love responsible journalism!
Finally a quality car on this channel
I kindly disagree with you Paul on the quality of the 360 camera as is the same case with all brands within VW Group! Really enjoy watching all your reviews! Best car reviewer on UA-cam!

Great review, this Car is just perfect.
Very good video about a great car. Thanks!
Glad to hear that some colours come free 😂
Good for the budget conscious ones.🤣
@@Noname-iz9uo indeed!
This car is beautiful
Awesome review 👏 - and I just found my future new haircut
What a car
Love love love ❤️
I think Alborz might be the only viewer who can watch this seriously and add it to the shortlist 😂😂
Even if I start saving now, I can barely make it to buy this thing for my 90th birthday !!
when will this guy realise that no one in the world drinks a coffee that small.
Moving up in the world Paul
I'd buy a Bentayga if I had the money. Love it, just not that spec. Maybe I'm old school, but I want polished walnut wood and beige leather, and give me chrome trim over that silly gloss black/carbon fibre look.

I love it.
I love that all the buttons are the same as my Audi - which cost a lot less! Haha 😅
Great Vid as always Paul , I get a laugh as well.
Was waiting for the offroad segment 😂
Paul's right this is the best luxury car
Good review Paul as always. Love Bentley interiors! The boot space however is disappointing for an SUV of this size at your quoted 484L. My Audi S6 mid size sedan has more capacity at 530L.

Is that an engine warning light already @ 8:35 or just the ignition turned on?
Couldn't be as quick as a V6 ranger.
That will be a fun race, stupid but fun, definitely
I don't think people who buy Bentley's are interested in racing them. It's all about the style.
Great review but you probably miss spoke about the piping, you pointed out stitching because that was not piping. It’s a different thing. The old classic cars have pipping quite often, my brother owned a Maserati that had it also.
hEY bRO, wOULD YOU be able to make a review video on mini cooper countryman?
Will you take the Genesis SUVs for an off-road test?
wheels look like something VW would put on a GTI
Paul always has missed calls whenever he shows Apple Car Play or Android Auto. Pick up the phone mate.
A Hyundai Pallisade has more tech and safety for a quarter of the price. Basically paying for a badge? Great review btw.
it looks good to be honest this models has been around since 2017 and facelifted in 2020 as 2021 model year it looks gorgeous even in now it's five years old
Lol 😂
Rear end looking like a PT Cruiser
It's competing with its siblings... Cayenne Turbo, Urus, SQ7/8...
Sibling Rivalry
I thought that funny when Paul mentioned the Lamborghini Urus as a competitor… I was shaking my head saying to myself that the Urus and the Bentayga are brothers under the metal
Finally something I care to watch, this is the new Corolla Cross right?
The EWB fixes the lag with a dual clutch.
Those taillights look like the designers just expanded a low res image to fit the canvas
For a $400k+ car, $16k for safety options is a joke. It can well and truly be included for that price. So could even/consistent stitching on the door.

So is it 4WD or RWD/FWD?
Urus in green is the only one to get of the 3.
When I saw the price I thought not another Toyota Yaris.
Will do you a review of 2023 bmw x7 😉
Just a Q7 in a fancy dress
CarExpert : but it looks so bad from the back....like a widened mini cooper that looks like a children's toy car.
How much would this cost WITHOUT the luxury car tax?
A lot less… 😳
wow. what color is it ???
60k for options colors??? What do you mean?
my dad finally agreed that we can get a bb
Um , good luck trying to afford a car like that in OZ mate , it ain't happening !
Good review though !
All of Paul's 0-100 times exceed manufacturers claim. Is test track slightly canted downhill?

Looks like a slightly bigger Ford Kuga
450K car still has the same UI infotainment from a 80K Audi...
Body built in Bratislava, Slovakia
The lack of good braking is a worry for such a fast and heavy car. That being said, I'll never be able to afford a wheel of a car like this :(
Backseats manually adjustable on a Bentley?!
External design is pretty nice, but I don't quite like the tail light. When I have the funds for a car of this price range, I would rather get the Mercedez EQs. Nothing beats the hyper screen interior 😍
So basically an egg???
他飘了 他开始测试宾利了😂😂

Bring back the W12
Never seen a “push pull “ lever before
what red ?
Long live the mighty W12, the only engine that truely belongs in the Bentayga !
Can't believe that they don'y hide the rear wiper under that rear spoiler, why leave it down the bottom like on every other car, or do they think it is a design feature,! (ok, I'm abusing sarcasm now!!) :) Presumably it is to save on costs! on a $450.000 car. Shocking.
I would have a Range Rover over that any day of the week. It looks pretty ordinary to me.
Wow, I'm surprised by how cheap that rear armrest looks. Otherwise, beautiful car
Watchuing this video gave me a chubbie 😅😅😅
The design is horrendous. Also when mentioning black, you should also say it's "piano black" because they are and they leave fingerprints too
What a massive disappointment. I did have my eye on this one but this is honestly lacking features you would expect in cars
Slow down Paul even if I win tonight's $160m you've conditioned me to buy a raptor
Sorry All. I just dont get it! Overpriced, average looks-obviously well made with performance but everything else😬.....Is it something Top Gear use to bash around in!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 the whole car optional extras!
Am i the only one who notice the Check Engine Light on?
Supposed to be great on Autobahns at extreme speeds, but the lane assist stuff doesn't work, and the breaks aren't great. Lame.
450k$ for a car that looks like the sister of the pt cruiser
Thats called legacy brand. You're buying the brand name.
It really does not, it's a camera effect - you need to see it in person
Paul is Posce CAYAN SLOWE HAN
What a dissapointing waste of money.... 1/2 a million dollars... the screen in the rear is small and you have to reach down to the floor to get it... $16k extra for safety... small 10 inch front screen... tiny front storage under armrest.. wow...
For 400k I could get a lc300 gr sport and and get whole bunch of work done on it.
I wonder if people that can afford cars at this price bracket actually would bother reviewing it….
Bentley SUV - I thought NEVER - NEIMLT!!😢😢
Great SUV, but these ridiculously large wheels on what is basically an allround family vehicle. Looks absurd. It's not a supercar.
You can buy 2 Audi RS6 for the price of this much rather have an Rs6 and $200000 in my pocket.
you've just apid $450k for a car but insist on paying $0.50 for a baby chino 🤷♂🤷♂
What? The Bentayga S has a W12, NOT a V8
Nope, you're thinking of the Speed.
Even if I had the money. No thanks. No VAG ever for me.
I'll take a Guilia. Thanks.
