The GOAT of youtube bodybuilding series is finally back. The CBUM Prep series which could and should be on Netflix. Chris, I’m not sure if you’ll read this but I really hope you will. When I watched your 2019 prep series in early January of 2020 I could barely stand on my feet, make myself food or take a simple shower. I also struggled with crippling anxiety and panic attacks to the point where I literally thought I was going to die every minute of the day, and in the end I also got diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome. I was in the darkest place I’ve ever been. It’s been 3,5 extremely tough years. It has been absolute hell with a lot pain and darkness. But, today the anxiety and panic attacks are gone and I can take short walks. Haven’t been to the gym in 2,5 years and I miss it like no other, but I will get back to a normal life and the gym again. Working everyday to get better and recover, while being grateful for this journey and all the lessons that I’ve learned. Your prep series will always have a special place in my heart. I’m going to repeat myself. You’re a great champion, but an even greater humanbeing. The GOAT of classic physique, but still one of the most genuine, humble and good people out there. I’m forever grateful for for everything you’ve done for me these last years through your videos, as they have definetly helped med getting through some extremely dark and nasty places. Again, thankyou from the bottom of my heart. Seeing how you’ve delt and grown from your setbacks and pain has helped me more than you know, as I’ve definetly recognized a lot of what you’ve been through mentally, physically and spiritually in myself. I really hope I get the chance to thank you in person one day man. Now as I said last year, go get what’s yours champ! (Sorry for the long comment).

That's why I love and admire Cbum. The fact that he's open, humble truly inspires me. We all face our doubts, fears and bad moments and by being honest and tackling them we evolve. I just don't want Cbum to feel as if he loses the Olympia that he's letting all of us down. I may never be a bodybuilder but I've always felt inspired by you and I wish you and Iain, I mean he's also family to you, all the best in your preparation and in life. Thank you Cbum 😀.
There are a lot of things in life, not regarding working out, that I've learned from you. I think that by watching these videos I've not only become better at the gym, but a better person overall. Thank you Chris, truly! ❤💪

Love you too Chris, appreciate your mature outlook on relationships and personal development, and I thank you for being such a good example for so many people in that aspect. Always wishing you well my guy.
Thanks for being who you are. I just started working out this year and I've been watching your videos. They've been a big source of understanding the grind.
I appreciate all workout tips you give, but I continue coming back because of your insights on life. I respect how you carry yourself. I had to do a lot of damage to myself and to people in my life to reach some of the same conclusions you have, about life and my own personal values. I also love getting a sneak peak into the mindset of a champion. I have my own personal athletic goals, that by the way have nothing to do with bodybuilding, running mostly, and seeing the dedication it takes to be the best is inspiring. You're a good dude and a wise dude. I wish you nothing but the best CBum.
Chris you're a huge inspiration to me and to a lot of people! Your mentality and everything gives me the motivation to do more and better myself. You have the best physique in this era and i know so many people that say they want to be like you! I appreciate everything you do bro and i wish you all the best! 4x Mr Olympia incoming!! 💪🏽💯👊🏽
Hey Chris, all I wanna say is I know you win again And I hope that after you win, we get to see you step on stage again you’ve inspired a lot of people and change many lives and no matter what happens you’ll always be Mr. Olympia number one in our eyes. Keep it up💪🏻🤍
We love you Chris. You make this whole community come together, you don't just better your life, you better ours, with the "motivation" and mainly discipline you have to keep crushing the top standard of bodybuilding. You have inspired and changed so many lives, including mine. Much love, and always rooting for ya.
Chris you taking the time to share your journey towards another title has been nothing short of inspirational. Knowing what you go through and what drives you still is amazing!! True champion mentality!! 🏆 🙏🏻 I feel like and I'm on this journey with you as I'm sure many others do as well, watching your videos and posts going through the ups and downs to reaching that ultimate goal in the next 5 weeks!! Thank you again for being you and caring about us! 4X title here we go!!!
Really enjoy the workout portion… but who in the World has done this mental diary during the most painful/lonesome competition? Thank you. Love two points I will always take 1- I may be tired during the day, but my muscles are still there. It is all mental. 2- I know how to beat last year’s champ. Just beautiful cheat sheet for us to copy in our lives. Again… thank you for a journey into the active mind of a champ. We see Jordan’s mind decades after.. but to see yours today.. priceless. Thank you for making time for us. Sincerely.
You are growing, and I'm not just talking about your body but more importantly as a person. As you said, you are becoming a model for many young people who see you and try to be like you. That is a huge responsibility if you of course want to take it. Great video again, cheers!
Can’t speak for everyone but someone at your level being open about real emotions and hard times goes a long way..takes a lot to do that to thousands of people👍💪
the main factor is your health, both mental and physical. you’ve proven enough for all of us fans, but we all know that you can only blast gear for so long before, we’ll, you know… compete or not, your fan base will always be here. but we (our opinions/support) don’t matter. you are the one that matters bc you are putting your health and life on the line to compete. be safe and make the best decision for you. we’ll still be here
I've tried to write this comment three times now, but each time I get done with it I decide to delete what I've written. I'm not entirely sure why. I think it's because I don't want to admit to myself that someday there could be a future without C-Bum dropping into my day to give me a kick in the ass. Chris, I'm really glad your headspace is aces right now, and I'm pumped to continue to watch your career. I truly hope, when the time comes for you to retire, you choose a path in life that allows us to stay tuned to where you're at and what you're doing. You've become a massive inspiration for me, and I'm not talking about the gym. I have the self-motivation to workout and stay fit. No, you've become a motivation for me to chase my dreams and focus my life on work that I have a passion for. I stepped out of the rat race and quit my job last April to chase my dream of becoming a writer and humanitarian. Watching your journey helped give me the courage I needed to change my life. Thanks, dude.
I was never into the bodybuilding stuff but slowly I’m becoming more interested. I mainly like watching your videos because you are simply REAL and genuine. Your videos are motivating for many life aspects, not just for health/gym motivation. I take motivation from you on continuing my academic journey, so thanks for that! Can’t wait to see you win your 4th Mr. Olympia Title CBUM!
Surely I know you can beat Chris from a year ago at this moment that you are living bc you are motivated, you have passion and bc you know a lot of people like me look up to you. Hope you the best on this prep season and I wish you the best to not only winning Olympia, also to get better everyday. And always remember, as you said, not quiting is the real challenge and what makes greatness.
Hey chris bro i was really over weight and started working out cuz of you I really really admire you and support all the decisions that you make more love you you brother

Please Cbum keep us updated with you mental health it both helps you get it off your chest and helps teach us that it’s ok to be “shit”. Keep up the godly work 🔱🔱🔱
C Bum! you're such an inspiration! Not just to people who love working out but just in general! Your way of living your life and the reflection you clearly do is admirable. I absolutely love watching your videos - they give me motivation to keep pushing even when things/life seems at its darkest! Keep up the good work and lets get that title home where it belongs! Best of luck during the last part of prep. I wish the best for you and your family! Much love from Denmark
I love how you always keep it you vs you, such a healthy mentality and great for anyone trying to achieve anything, not just bodybuilding. Future GOAT for sure.
I'm just starting my body building career. I'm still a skinny bitch, and I'm still not very strong. But. I know that I've beat that hardest part, and that's discipline and consistency, and that is largely due to you. All of these science-based channels talk about how above a certain number of sets is sub optimal. And in a video a few months ago, you said that if I'm young and my body can take it, to train like an asshole. And I took that to heart, I have a lot of catch up to do, so working and training as hard as my body will physically let me is going to be a necessity. You inspire me and keep me on that path of sheer determination and obsession while others are looking at me and telling me I'm crazy. Thank you.

Chris will never understand the amount of hope and passion he has give me and millions of people all around the world especially on the fitness type of side to keep carrying on, I don't ussaly say this on public platforms but as a suicide survivor Chris has definitely gave me the will to live and carry on woth my dream, you could say he was the best thing I've come across. Thank you Chris your consistency is unmatchable and your physique is un containable, stay strong man we're all here for you 🙂👌🏼
Your videos mean a lot to me Chris, thanks
That's why I love and admire Cbum. The fact that he's open, humble truly inspires me. We all face our doubts, fears and bad moments and by being honest and tackling them we evolve. I just don't want Cbum to feel as if he loses the Olympia that he's letting all of us down. I may never be a bodybuilder but I've always felt inspired by you and I wish you and Iain, I mean he's also family to you, all the best in your preparation and in life. Thank you Cbum 😀.
cbum seems way to chill compared to this time around last year i hope he is as committed to win as last year, best of luck to the champ haha
God bless you Chris. Young guys need a role model like you. An “influencer” like you setting the example.
let’s get it champ 👑 no pressure no pain ✊🏿
There are a lot of things in life, not regarding working out, that I've learned from you.
I think that by watching these videos I've not only become better at the gym, but a better person overall. Thank you Chris, truly! ❤💪
Got my first show tomorrow, super excited!
Good luck brotha 🔥🤝
@@abanana5779 Thanks man. I won true novice and novice, came 2nd in open and 3rd in military.
the talk at the end of the video... you're simply the goat and a role model not only in BB but as a person!
It’s crazy you already won 3 Olympias and it seems like you’re barely in your prime 👀 excited to grow up in the era of bodybuilding and you’ being that example I look up to everyday youre a blessing excited to see you leave a legacy behind bro 🙏🙏
That's for opening up man! It's awesome that your willing to talk about your thoughts and feelings to the fans. You are definitely a very humble individual with awesome journey! Really happy for you and all of those who have been there for you in the good and bad times!
Un Entrenamiento increíble para espalda 💪🔥🔥
The brains and heart behind the physique are what makes this channel far superior to others. Time for Four and at least one more so you have a full year with Hany 🙏 GET IT!
If you would have just posted 2 hours before than that would be my back routine for today❤️💯
next time!
@@ChrisBumstead omg sir you replied😭😭❤️
Love you too Chris, appreciate your mature outlook on relationships and personal development, and I thank you for being such a good example for so many people in that aspect. Always wishing you well my guy.
Top demais .... o melhor do mundo 🌎 🔥 🔥
Thanks for being who you are. I just started working out this year and I've been watching your videos. They've been a big source of understanding the grind.
Te voy a superar ❤️🥺
I appreciate all workout tips you give, but I continue coming back because of your insights on life. I respect how you carry yourself. I had to do a lot of damage to myself and to people in my life to reach some of the same conclusions you have, about life and my own personal values. I also love getting a sneak peak into the mindset of a champion. I have my own personal athletic goals, that by the way have nothing to do with bodybuilding, running mostly, and seeing the dedication it takes to be the best is inspiring. You're a good dude and a wise dude. I wish you nothing but the best CBum.
I cant wait to hear we love you champ
Keep it up💪🏻🤍
We're all grateful for the example you set. Its one reason why I watch your videos.
Best vid you’ve done bro. Insightful and inspirational.

Thank you. Love two points I will always take
1- I may be tired during the day, but my muscles are still there.
We all know what you're doing with that camera angle at 8:40 you love to see it man! keep up the great work CBUM and editor! ;)
Can’t speak for everyone but someone at your level being open about real emotions and hard times goes a long way..takes a lot to do that to thousands of people👍💪
the main factor is your health, both mental and physical. you’ve proven enough for all of us fans, but we all know that you can only blast gear for so long before, we’ll, you know… compete or not, your fan base will always be here. but we (our opinions/support) don’t matter. you are the one that matters bc you are putting your health and life on the line to compete. be safe and make the best decision for you. we’ll still be here
Biggest role model. Literally
I’m happy that your in a good state right now man you deserve the world Chris🖤
You got this man. Pressure is a privilege. 💯
0:56 that looks like a new R8 for the champ! Keep up the amazing work Chris 😊
Love the vulnerability you have. Everyone needs to see this side too so we can relate with you that much more, we’re all human
Bro you a g . Thank you for this
I was never into the bodybuilding stuff but slowly I’m becoming more interested.
Love you Chris. Thanks buddy.
These are so motivational. Proud of you Chris. You are a great role model. And way to overcome your public speaking. Thavage!
Looking for my first show in 2023, you’ve been a huge inspiration all the way 🙏
Hey chris bro i was really over weight and started working out cuz of you I really really admire you and support all the decisions that you make more love you you brother
Keep killing it man! You’re gonna stomp the competition this year. Urs is looking good too but still not close to your package. Stay up brother 💪🏼
Very inspiring watching you achieve your dreams! Can’t wait to see the results and hear “4 time Olympia Champion!” Good luck with prep!
@A 177 dudes on every cbum video malding at other people. Maybe you need to inspire yourself to leave the house every once and a while ????????
This is truly amazing, the amount of motivation and mental strength(and physical strength) is just incredible, keep up the amazing work Cbum you got this!💪💪
Love the explanation of intrinsic benefits and what those things mean to you! Very powerful and valuable!
to witness a literal LEGEND in the making is such a pleasure, joy, and privilege. Keep killing it KING 👑
Best video to watch before Monday 😈💪🏻
Fantastic perspective Chris. Love your sharing insight into your life and drive as well.
Please Cbum keep us updated with you mental health it both helps you get it off your chest and helps teach us that it’s ok to be “shit”. Keep up the godly work 🔱🔱🔱
One of the most humbles one’s out there. Good luck Chris, you got this!!
C Bum! you're such an inspiration! Much love from Denmark
love the talks to the camera, we appreciate the insight to the mind as well as the lifting content
Always coming out with banger videos , my inspiration 🤝🏻
You really are a great example to follow Chris. I don't have the exact words to explain how much my life has changed thanks to you. ❤❤
Just know that you motivate so many people you can’t imagine
Thank you.
I’ve been out of the loop with fitness for awhile, embarrassingly I’ve just become familiar with you in the bonus building world..I appreciate this content, definitely following 💪🏾
You could come in 10th this year and you would still be the best. This mindset inspires greatness
