That Supreme Class Starscream is not from Cyberverse, it actually is from Transformers Cybertron. The mini-cons gimmick is from Transformers Armada which came before Transformers Energon and Transformers Cybertron.
I was on board with G1 from day 1 in 1984. Love those toys and characters but I have always been excited by new things. Beast Wars, RiD, Unicron Trilogy, Animated, etc. Give me new characters and new interpretations of old characters as well as updates of old ones.
7:32 That's litterally the idea behind Combiner wars Cyclonus/Galvatronus: He could mindcontrol other transformers and add them to his gestalt form. Imagine you're an Autobot, just minding your own buisness and Cycclonus rocks up with some of his mates and the next thing you know you are Galvatronus' leg.
Easily my favorite Gimmick was MechTech from Dark Of The Moon. I was a kid at that time and I loved those figures. The transformering gun was so cool. I remember having one of the Ratchet and Optimus figures made at that time and having an absolute blast with it because those MechTech weapons were so cool.
Cog was with Fortress Maximus. Six Gun was with Metroplex :) My favourite were the Prime Masters, just because Pretenders are best when they're Pretending instead of just Transformers who look like the shells! The one that disappointed me was how they missed doing a TF: The Movie combiner in Combiner Wars. They already had a white Optimus (which is basically Ultra Magnus), a Wreck-Gar, and a Hot Rod. It would have taken them five minutes to recolour the copter as Springer, the pickup as Kup, and a sportscar as Blurr or Arcee to complete the set.
I would prefer if he didn’t, considering he called cybertron cyberverse, and he seems to have forgotten that Armada beat Cybertron with a line wide gimmick by two years
Returning to reinstate my comment, because these guys are trying to hide the truth. Cybertron was not the first. Armada beat it to market by two years as the two are opposite ends of the same trilogy. Also, the series was not called Cyberverse that would not be a line in use until dark of the moon, and then until Cyberverse the television show
Egad and curses! You have uncovered our sinister plot to throw the Transformer fanbase into utter turmoil by intentionally switching Cyberverse with Cybertron! Those words are so easily transposed in casual, spontaneous conversation, we hoped no one would notice. But we have been found out!
@@mirrortwins9694 hey I only went so far as to say that because my first comment was deleted. And you didn’t speak to the true point of my argument here, that Armada was first to incorporate a line wide gimmick. Don’t delete comments just trying to set the record straight, and you won’t get accused of anything 🤷🏼
Oh, I see the confusion. Your comment was not deleted. We don’t delete comments unless we feel they’re inappropriate. Your first comment was a response to another comment (to @ziweiyuen), and so appears under that first comment and not under the video. That is a UA-cam thing, and we don’t have control of how comments are displayed. Find that comment and click on “replies,” and you’ll see it’s still there. As far as your point about Armada, you are correct. Kyle misspoke. Thanks for keeping us honest!
I found the Junkions to be my least favorite of the weaponizer playstyle. The adherence to a more traditional transformation as opposed to "parts-forming" really limited the versatility of the Junkions removable parts. Their different parts don't work as well as the previous weaponizers when attached to other Transformers. While I've found a couple of combinations I'm okay with, the Junkions are really only good for parts swapping with the other Junkions, and that's not a very exciting playstyle to me.
Exactly! This is why Kyle said he’s tired of this play pattern. The Infernac weaponizers seem to be even more limited. It's time for something new. We would really like to see a minions or familiars based toy ecosystem.
The jets were not the first combiners that honor went to Devastator he was the first in the cartoons and the first in the toys till a year later... Now i dont know about you guys but i would love to see them make a movie for TV is Shattered Glass that would be so cool . The story is so good it deserves it
I think Kyle meant the Jets were the first combiner in Combiner Wars, not the first combiners ever. A shattered glass movie or mini series would be awesome! Great idea!
The first transformers gimmick was the rub stickers.
Ahhh… That could be considered a gimmick.
Wouldn't the first gimmick be reflector having three robots combine into one alt mode?
@joshdemski8415 no
Worst gimmick: Gold plastic self destruct.
Haha! Yes! By far the worst!

Yeah, another commenter mentioned this as well. Kyle will have to make sure he gets his facts straight before the next video. Thanks for the comment!

Yeah! We’re with you on that!

A horrifying thought!

Those were really cool! Thanks for sharing!
You two are so charming! I love listening to you guys chat about toys.
Thank you! You are quite charming yourself.

That is an amazing idea! Why didn’t they do that?!?!
True
I just found you guys and you two are just so charming, funny yet still informative. you guys deserve to be more mainstream.
Thank you so much and thanks for the comment!
17:43 Perfection.
The universe trembles at their combined evil! Beware of Skeletor-vore!!!!!
Kyle just needs to go ahead and write a dissertation on all this.
I think he’s working on his doctorate of Transforminomics.
I would prefer if he didn’t, considering he called cybertron cyberverse, and he seems to have forgotten that Armada beat Cybertron with a line wide gimmick by two years
I like those weaponizers. They feel a lot like Mugenbine toys.
Don’t know if Kyle is aware of those, but Justin looked them up and, you’re right! They do harken back to Mugenbine!
That is a beefy Starscream!
Yes he is.

How about a snapping turtle that converts into a riot shield?
Yes!
I really like the deformation car robot toy gimmik
Yeah, those are pretty cool.
Wasn't the heat sensitive stick that changed allegiance the first?
That could be true. Kyle says transforming is truly the 1st gimmick.
